Shocked

1000 years later

It has officially been 1000 years since I've trans migrated to this universe. 1000 years since I've took over the body of a newly ascended God, and 999 years since my integration into the divine court. 1000 years of trying to look for a way back to my universe to no avail.

The worst part is that there's no internet here meaning no games, no computer or cellphone, and lastly no way to contact my friends and relatives from my old universe.

Now dont get me wrong being powerful and all is cool but when you basically have done everything that you can think of that is fun 10x over, then it gets pretty boring. And as a member of the divine court, unless your favored by the big boss than your gonna have a lot of things on your hands. Things such as collecting rare heavenly treasures, killing ancient beast for even more heavenly materials, and much more.

But things have started to change especially with news about the heavens shaking due to someone being born. This news shocked everyone especially the divine emperor, afraid of losing power the divine emperor ordered the death of the baby and the whole family line.

Now this was actually really tricky since the baby was born from a powerful family. Both parents were gods that had high ranking spots in the divine court, especially the dad who was the 10th overall strongest person during that time. Still the emperor not caring about this he ordered 10 million heavenly soldiers with cultivation bases at first heavenly rank to storm through their gates and to start a slaughter.

The family could only run away from such force. This ofcourse was predicted and so the emperor also sealed the whole place to prevent them from teleporting out of there.

With no where to go the family could only fight with their 1 million men also at first heavenly rank. The father engaged with the emperor and the mother stood firm ready to die just to save her child. The emperor and his army eventually won leaving only the bloodied mother and father and a unscathed baby.

The father with the last bit of his cultivation and life force sacrificed him self to blow a hole through the sealed space and the mother quickly tried to leave with her baby. She of course was not fast enough and the emperor himself stopped her.

Still determined to alteast save her baby she also sacrificed herself to get her baby through the seal with a teleportation scroll. The emperor desperately tried to kill the baby but was only able to cripple it.

Eventually he stopped and ordered the army to go back thinking of it as a win.

I could only think otherwise as I thought aloud " Crippled cultivation? Heavens shaking from birth? And dead parents? There's only one person who could accomplish such things"

' ITS A PROTAGONIST' was all I could think of. With all of this I decided to quit my job as an official and to go out to hug- I mean train the protagonist of the story.
