Chapter 1: A Fresh Start

Be careful what you wish for. Joshua scoffs any time this statement is said. None of his wishes nor prayers came true. He continues to be the loser that always gets picked on at school. At home it doesn't get much better, as he lives alone after getting kicked out of his parents' house for being a 'disappointment' to them. His home is the only place where he can be himself without any restrains of society. He doesn't just want a girlfriend, he just wants a fresh start. This is the only wish that came true for him as he has an opportunity to transfer schools.

When he got the acceptance letter to the school he was shocked and surprised. he needed to prepare himself for his new school, and finally say goodbye to the hellhole he called a school. He is getting a fresh start at Clearview High School. He couldn't wait! He disappeared from his old school and just kept working his part-time job at a pizza shop.

In this pizza shop, Joshua meets one of his only friends, a lighter-skinned girl named Sasha. They met each other during training at the pizza shop, they both got hired and they hang out everyday during and after work. When Joshua told Sasha the news about him going to a new school she got very excited. Turns out she's going to the same school that Joshua is going to. But there was something off about Sasha's reaction, she seemed a little too excited about Joshua's acceptance to Clearview.

"This is great Joshua!" exclaimed Sasha. "We can hang out even more often!"

"Yeah, at least I'll have a friend at this new school now." Joshua said relieved. "Welp, I'm done with my shift, I'm going to home now okay?"

"Okay!" Sasha said as Joshua left. If someone else takes him away from me, they will pay, Just like his family! Hehe Hehehe! "

Sasha!" the manager shouted. "Can you stop muttering to yourself and take care of the rest of these orders?"

"Yeah I got it!" Sasha said as she scurries over to help the manager.
