The World Of Niraxus

In a world where Relics are coveted by many, Nova Shirogane or commonly known as Nova lived a modest life as an orphan. He had always known that there was something different about him, but he couldn't help but erase that thought as he was a "Mundane". Mundanes are humans that do not possess any relics at birth and they have to get them by finding one in the infinite layers of Niraxus, each one getting more hectic.

One day Nova stumbled upon an ancient temple at the outskirts of his church, It looked quite ominous from the outside as if it held something powerful inside.

As Nova entered and explored the ruins of the ancient temple, he couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and wonder. The crumbling walls and towering pillars were a testament to a time long forgotten, and he couldn't help but wonder what secrets they might hold.

As he made his way deeper into the temple, Nova found himself lost in thought, his mind racing with questions and possibilities but then he suddenly hits a dead end as he looks in front of him and then behind. He then thinks "A dead end? I wonder what I should do now" Nova looked around the temple taking in everything once more as he looked right above him and he saw a ledge and a glowing purple light exerting from the top of the wall that he had ran a dead end in to. Nova swiftly climbed on the cracks with very precise and steady footing and eventually, he had reached the top of the wall and he looked down at his hands and sighed deeply "Ouch, should've wore gloves" He said.

As Nova looked in front of him, he saw the glowing purple light exerting from a crystal-like object, Nova's thoughts start to run wild as he wonders "Is this what they call a relic?.. should I obtain it?" As Nova's thoughts were mostly racing about how he would be considered and treated with respect if he had a Relic but deep down in his heart, he had this gut-wrenching feeling that "What if this Relic is a power that wouldn't be useful and would give me more disadvantages than advantages?" Nova was very skeptical about touching the crystal but he took a deep breathe and prayed to the "Relic Deity" and he extended his hand and as his hand made contact with the crystal, it passed right through it like if it was a non-physical object.

Nova tried again and again getting frustrated with each try and he sighs as he kicks the holder that the relic was on. As his foot made contact with the holder, a scroll fell from underneath as Nova looked down at it with confusion and thought "Oh god, this is so cliché, am I about to die?"

Nova carefully unrolled the ancient scroll, his eyes scanning the text that was written in a language he had never seen before but surprisingly, he understood it perfectly. As he read the words, he realized that it was a riddle, one that would apparently lead him to obtain the relic that he had been wanting to obtain.

The riddle read:

"The force that guides all things, From the smallest act to the grandest scheme. The hand that shapes one's destiny and makes the impossible possible, without it, chaos reigns supreme, And all that is, or was, or will be, Is cast adrift on an endless sea.."
