Mei was like a frozen statue in her living room, she had a rough night after remembering the calls she received last night like a rolling film in of her past and present the anger and hatred and regrets. She sigh after making a deep breath and silently told herself.

As she stand up the doorbell in front of her apartment rang out continuously. She had a bad preminision there's only 2 reasons why she gets harrass so early in the morning. Mei open the front door and a small built woman came in and she seems to be distress about something.
The woman was her friend in Beijing now they are both living together due to some unusual circumstances.

Oh I won't be sleeping her tonight my parents are in town will be staying at grandmas house for at least a few days can you not move your stuff in the dorms while I'm not home pleased?. "I can't promise you that my dad already arranged everything for me and I think it's better if you'll moved instead with me in the dorms?". Mei smiled at her bestie she can't stay with her she knows how dangerous are the man who keep surveillance of her. Gillian is only safe cause her father was a British Ambassador and his famous government official either UK or China. Zhou Mei believes that being inside the campus grounds gives her more security to do what she wants. Her dreams to becom a doctor was her ultimate goal for coming back to the US.

As Mei was about to leave she received a SMS from Jay confirming if she has plans for tonight and if not he would like to treat her for a welcome back dinner. She smile and text him back "ok! lets meet at 7pm at the same restaurant they used to go with mom and dad". After confirming the apartment service line rang from the apartments lobby twice and she was informed that there's a DHL package for her so she got down from the apartments elevator pressing G.
At the lobby the staff easily recognise her and hand over the package." Miss Zhou Mei from 24A a package for you arrive from Beijing".
"Thank you!" Mei had a bad premonitions there's a insignia on the box. She went up back to her apartment and open the box, she saw an envelope with a red card inside was the words written "I love you, Zhou Mei!" and a xox W xox is written. Mei felt a bolt of anger surged inside her. As she open the 2 small wooden box inside the package one was a watch and the other was a key chain. She knew what were the items one is Jay's watch she gave him before leaving the USA and the other was the keyholder of Gillian's key's which concluded her uneasiness seeing the cut on Gillian's bag.
