Wolf

'Lv. 49 Spectral Wolf'

Sniffing at the air, the powerful, jet black wolf began its hunt. The slight speckles of white made its coat shimmer as if it was covered with starlight.

The wolf would normally smell the ground, but a sudden and strange scent caused it to sniff at the air. A special smell assaulted it's nose, but no tracks could be seen or smelled. It just drifted in on the wind.

With its powerful, spring-like, hind legs, the wolf bounded through the trees. Different beasts and monsters steered clear, fearful of the massive creature speeding passed them.

In True Life, Spectral Wolves are a nearly Divine Tier beast species. They harness incredible magic power within their bodies, capable of unleashing practically any element they desire. They are labeled as untameable, as any attempts would cause death in the prior timeline.

This particular wolf however, sped through the forest. The forest it called home and was treated as king. All of this for a scent it did not understand.

As the light of the Sun illuminated the exit, the wolf came to a dust filled halt just as it slid outside of the forests reaches.

"Oh. Hello there?"

Before the wolf's eyes stood a man that barely reached its shoulder. His messy black hair hiding his eyes as he threw another punch into a massive boulder. Unphased by the massive wolf staring down at him.

Wraith placed his palm against the boulder, massive cracks spread out all over it. He glanced at the Spectral Wolf, his eyes only showing curiosity... just like the wolf.

Tilting it's massive head sideways, the Spectral Wolf seemed confused. It had never seen a human so blatantly unafraid, nor smell so strange.

"Where the hell did it run off to?! We was tracking it for so long!"

Voices suddenly started to come from behind the Spectral Wolf, alarming it. The wolf hasn't realized it was followed, now possibly believing it was lured here.

"Don't those idiots know that a Spectral Wolf is a rare and mighty creature? No way I'm letting them touch you."

Wraith stepped passed the wolf, patting it's muzzle with a soft tap as he stepped into the forest.

Twelve men. Each armed with various weapons, as well as double Wraith's level.

'Are all NPCs around level 30 assholes?'

"Ay. Boy. You seen a big wolf? Black fur with white specks?"

Wraith scratched his head.

"Yea. Though..."

Within a breath, Wraith was standing before two of the men.

"Wingspan of the Crow."

His arms flashed outward, slamming into both men. They were instantly unconscious, lying on the ground.

"I'd say ten left, but my new friend said six."

Four more men were lying on the ground, the Spectral Wolf slapping them out of its way.

"I'd have let you go, but you're seriously hunting a Spectral Wolf... we can't have that now."

His speed placed him in front of the biggest of the group.

"Wrong choice boy."

His axe was raised high into the air, crashing down towards Wraith.

"Arm of the Anaconda."

His arm whipped out, almost seeming like his bones slithered inside his skin. The intense force sent the boulder of a man straight into a tree, his body slumping to the ground.

In the time he took to do this, the wolf had whipped around and sped through the last five men. Massive paw strikes, clawless, slammed into each one. Every man was thrown a couple dozen meters before taking a peaceful nap on the forest floor.

Wraith looked towards the wolf, giving a cocky grin.

"You're pretty skilled. I have a wolf skill, but it's definitely not meant for beating these idiots down."

Before Wraith could say more, the wolf looked into the trees again. Wraith followed the wolf's line of sight, his eyes landing on another wolf. This wolf had almost a rust colored fur, with old scars and wounds covering it's body.

"Boyfriend?"

The wolf turned it's head towards Wraith, then huffed at him. Even shaking it's head at him.

"Well damn... smarter then I expected, but what do we do about him? He looks angry."

Getting into a low position, the Spectral Wolf began to snarl towards the scarred wolf.

'Lv. 54 Tinder Wolf King'

Wraith rested his face in his hand.

"I'm gonna die if I get hit by him... well I have my sigil. That's 2200, especially since I'm not even hurt. Let's hope I don't need to respawn, getting here was a bitch and a half. I'd rather not have wasted my time after sending Minerva off."

Wraith raised his hands, his hands open in a clawlike shape.

"Ready Speckles?"

Another snarfing sound.

"Well dang. You like Night?"

The wolf just stared at him now.

"Well don't tear off my arm or anything. I just wanna call you something besides wolf!"

The wolf bowed to Wraith slightly, causing a sudden thought to reach his head.

'It shouldn't hurt it if I just check for a second... right?'

Wraith used the same process he used to aid his alchemy. His mind began to expand outwards, creeping closer to the Spectral Wolf. As they touched, Wraith snapped back to his senses.

"Alright. Let's beat this wolf king down, Luna."

"Finally Pops let me start playing. Such a pain too... I so wanted to talk to Kain some more about the game! He was just the cutest when he started to get excited."

Standing in a forest clearing, a beautiful elven woman bounced around lightly. Her body jiggled in her excitement, catching the eyes of those around her.

Her eyes resembled the tree tops and her hair was a short and sleek blond that reached her shoulders. On her back was a bow, but she obviously didn't care for it as she saw a line trailing from her feet. With a cute little skip, she began her adventure in hopes of finding Kain and telling him how she really feels!

'Just thinking about him is making my heart beat so hard, and my legs feel like spaghetti... I really wish he was here to hold me steady.'

Her cheeks were a light flush of pink as she was lost in her own imagination.
