121 Worst Generation

Dogtooth didn't wait for Ori to make a move. He bent over and pressed both hands to the floor.

"Flowing Mochi!"

As he said that, the ground surrounding Ori transformed into the sticky substance that is mochi.

Ori had seen the anime and new that if he was caught by the mochi, getting out would prove difficult. He immediately stepped on the air and slashed out with his sword.

Before Ori had even finished his swing and created his sword light, Dogtooth had already stepped to the left easily evading the crescent shaped sword light.

Ori knew that landing a hit on Katakuri was going to prove difficult, so he wasn't surprised by the ease in which his attack was evaded.

Just as he was about to charge at the trident wielding Yonko executive he heard his voice.

"Mochi Singing Result!"

When he heard that he noticed that he was surrounded by a myriad of Dogtooth's "Peerless Donuts".

Each Donut produced a pitch black fist similar to that of Katakuri's. As Katakuri was at the peak of the Grandmaster Martial Artist boundary Ori didn't dare to take any of the fists lightly.

"Zephyr's Evasion!"

This was a technique he created when he was younger. He used his control of the wind to feel the change in the wind created when an someone attacks which in turn creates wind resistance, Ori would then move his body to dodge accordingly.

As Dogtooth was at the Grandmaster boundary his link to nature was deep and as a result he was capable of attacking without receiving too much resistance from the wind around him. Thankfully though, after Ori evolved his Devil Fruit it wasn't just the wind resistance he could feel, but the air resistance too. Even at Dogtooth's level he wasn't capable of completely ridding himself of the air resistance, for that he'd need to reach the Saint Boundary.

As each fist shot forth Ori used the bare minimum movement to evade it so that he was in a position to dodge the next attack. Although Ori was occasionally hit by the incoming fists and ended up sustaining more than a few injuries, none were fatal.

The longer Ori went on, the more relaxed he became dodging and the deeper Katakuri's frown.

[At first he was barely able to dodge one fist and had to force himself to reposition his body so when it landed it wasn't fatal but now I'm lucky to land one out of 3 of my attacks.

He's improving at a monstrous speed. What kind of perception does this guy have!]

Suddenly Ori closed his eyes and forgot to pay attention to everyone and everything around him bar the incoming attacks.

His movement seemed to slow down, but no matter how hard he tried Dogtooth could no longer even touch Ori's clothes.

[The only way to evade my attacks like he's doing is for his level of observation to completely surpass mine, but if that were true I wouldn't be able to see his future movements at all. As I can still see his future movements it's clear his observation haki hasn't surpassed mine, nor does he have the time attribute like me, but every time my attack is about to land he dodges at the last possible moment…

Just how is this possible?!]

The most frustrating part was that he could feel how close he was. Each of his attacks was only barely dodged by Ori and it wasn't as if Ori was dodging by a hairs breadth on purpose. It was clear that Ori was at his limits. His breathing was haggard, and his dodging was sloppy, but every time a fist would near, Ori was able to dodge at the last second.

Jozu who was watching the fight alongside Yasopp was naturally shocked by Ori's display. He turned to Yasopp and asked.

"Does he also have the time attribute?"

Yasopp frowned as he stared at Ori's movements.

"No. Like Katakuri, I can also see a few seconds into Ori's future. If he had the time attribute, both of ours would cancel each-others out."

Jozu scrunched his eyebrows as he analysed Ori's movements and asked.

"So how's he dodging?"

Yasopp shook his head also stumped by that same question.

"I have no idea!"

[Each of Katakuri's punches can be considered perfectly timed and none should miss their mark. He's looking into the future and attacking the position where Ori's about to move but just as they're about to land, it's as if Ori can feel it and then forces himself out of harm's way.

Looking at how unnatural his movements are it's clear this isn't a technique, it's almost as if he's relying on animalistic like instincts!]

Suddenly Ori opened his eyes. As he did Katakuri subconsciously took half a step back. Ori smiled excitedly as he looked at the man before him.

[I don't know how or why I managed to do it, but thanks to you I was able to comprehend the feeling of danger. Using that, I'm able sense your attacks as soon as you intend on attacking me.

It seems to be different from time attribute haki where the user can see a few seconds into the future. With this I seem to only be capable of feeling the intentions of those around me and as soon as they intend on attacking me I can feel it and move accordingly, it's not as good at for dodging as the time attribute, but it's better than nothing!]

Just as he was about to finally mount a counter attack, he felt a giant threat rapidly approaching from the back. He was just about to dodge when he saw a bolt of lightning dash passed him to intercept the incoming attack.

Boom!

Ori turned around with a smile as he saw Enel who had transformed into a bolt of lightning to intercept Vice-Admiral Kurogane who had clearly intended on mounting a sneak attack on the seemingly distracted Ori.

"I never expected you to be the one to come to my rescue!"

Enel glanced at Ori with a complicated expression on his face.

[This is his true strength? When we fought yesterday I knew that their was a gap between us, but I wasn't expecting this…]

"Hmph! Don't mistake my saving you now as a sign of friendship, I just didn't want trash like this to be the one to take your life. I'm the only one allowed to kill you!"

Ori let out a carefree chuckle as he looked at the lightning based super rookie.

"Hahaha, just try not to die or I'll feel guilty for letting you die after saving my life!"

Enel glared at Ori in annoyance as lightning started sparking round his body.

"Do you want me to start with you?!"

Ori raised his hand and waved them as if he were surrendering.

"No, no. I was just showing my care!"

"Hmph! Fuck off and focus on your own opponent!"

Ori didn't say anything in reply, he merely turned to Benji and gave him a nod.

Seeing the nod Benji allowed for his 'inspirational' music to empower Enel.

Feeling the sudden increase in strength the super rookie turned to Benji who was sat cross legged playing with his eyes closed before turning back to Ori who shrugged and said.

"That man may act like trash, but he's no pushover."

Enel knew Ori wasn't lying, his arms were still numb from their initial clash! He took a final glance at Ori before turning to face the Vice-Admiral.

"For today and today only we'll be allies!

500 million volt Raijin!"

As he said that he generated an incredible amount of electricity and channelled it into his body, transforming into a giant bellied god of thunder holding onto a giant golden trident.

[Incredible! After getting the power up from that man's music I'm more than twice as strong as I was when I faced off against Orion yesterday!]

Enel's eyes shone with excitement as he looked down at Kurogane.

Kurogane frowned as he looked up at the 50" giant Thunder God.

"Enel, the Heavenly Demon is your enemy, why do you intend on protecting him? If you move out of the way now and let me kill him you'll be regarded as the new rookie king. I'll even give you a free pass and let you leave with your life today."

When he heard that, Enel's expression turned into one of cold indifference.

"Your heart is truly weak. It's no wonder that after you lost the battle with that Mihawk fellow your rate of improvement slowed down so much.

Why would I let you kill someone I've named as my rival, if he's going to die it'll be to my hand and mine alone. Unlike you, being defeated once has only driven me to work harder to surpass him in the future!

1 Million Volt Thunder Dragon!"

As he said that he thrust his palm out creating a giant blue lightning dragon sending it flying into the Vice Admiral.

Enel's words manage to strike a nerve. Kurogane's eyes turned icy, he looked at Enel no different than he would a corpse, completely ignoring the incoming giant thunder dragon.

"Soru!"

As he said that, Vice-Admiral Kurogane moved like a bullet appearing behind the giant thunder abomination sword in hand.

"Die then!"

As he said that he slashed out aiming to take the head of the arrogant super rookie. Just as the sword was about to make contact, Enel's body seemed to disappear.

Like lightning it reappeared above the body of the surprised Vice-Admiral.

"Lightning Spear!"

The golden spear in his hand seemed to transform into a bolt of lightning as it was thrust out at the scrambling Vice-Admiral, making a thunderous roar as it tore through the air.

Kurogane knew he couldn't dodge so he coated his swords in haki and crossed them both across his body in a last ditch attempt to block.

Bang!

The Vice-Admiral was sent flying over 50 meters through the crowd crashing into a building opposite the auction house!

Enel looked lightly in the direction he sent Kurogane flying and said arrogantly.

"Don't underestimate me!"

When they saw that, the crowd couldn't help but look at the 2 new Super Rookies in shock with a hint of awe.

"These are only rookies?!"

"This generation is terrifying!"

"This has to be by far the worst generation the world's experienced in a long, long time!"
