87 The Empyrean Trinity
The next morning Jinbei and the other guards from Fishman Island were stood on the Heavenly Demon's ship in front of Queen Otohime, Ori and the others. They had safely sailed to St. Poplar and were just seeing the group of 6 off.
"My Queen please take care of yourself, we'll be waiting back on the island for your safe return."
"Jinbei don't worry about me, take this week to relax!"
Jinbei nodded before turning to Kyoraku (Ori).
"Orion, I leave my Queen in your hands, please take good care of her!"
Ori nodded as he replied.
"You have my word, I'll protect her with my life!"
When he said that Jinbei could sense the conviction behind his words.
"With your word, I can rest easy tonight!"
Ori smiled and said.
"Thanks again for agreeing to look after our ship, if you hadn't we would've been forced to carry all the valuables on us!"
The blue fishman shook his head and replied.
"It's the least we could do!"
With that the Heavenly Demon's and Otohime made their way to the St. Poplar Sea Train Station whilst Jinbei and the others sailed on the demon's ship back to the uninhibited island.
Shayle was respectfully stood just behind Jinbei.
"Sir Jinbei, is it really ok to leave her majesty with the Heavenly Demon Pirates? Even if they are trustworthy, if they're recognised they'll only bring fishman island more trouble in the future."
Jinbei glanced at Shayle as he replied lightly.
"They won't be recognised!"
"Queen Otohime was able to recognise them with a mere look yesterday."
"The Queen's level of observation haki has reached the absolute apex, the number of people in the world who have reached that level don't number over 20, the majority of which reside deep in the new world. And if you haven't reached that level you can forget trying to see through that illusion. The queen, told me yesterday that if she wasn't paying close attention she wouldn't have been able to see through them. Plus she was adamant about travelling with them and when she gets like that, forget you or I, even king Neptune wouldn't be able to change her mind."
"But…"
"That's enough Shayle! What's done is done."
"Yes sir, I understand."
Back on St. Poplar, Ori and the others had just gotten on the sea train and taken their seats.
"So Mr. Shunsui, what's next for you guys after this job?"
Ori who was disguised as Kyoraku Shunsui from bleach looked towards Otohime as he replied.
"Next we're off to Water 7 to try and find a decent ship for our future travels and hopefully a shipwright as well."
Otohime nodded as she said.
"Apparently there's going to be a high value auction taking place on Water 7 in 2 weeks' time. If you make it there on time you should definitely check it out. Apparently there are a lot of bigshots going to take part as well."
Ori nodded thinking that it could be interesting when the conversation of a group ahead caught his attention.
"Did you hear, one of the Navy's Empyrean Trinity, Captain Trafalgar Law managed to go toe to toe with Jack from the Beast Pirates and leave unscathed."
"Jack? As in one of the 3 Disasters of the Beast Pirates? Isn't he supposed to be one of Kaido's right hand men? His strength is supposed to be only below Kaido himself."
"Exactly, and Captain Law managed to go toe to toe with him and retreat safely."
"Isn't he only 18 now? The navy really picked a good one there didn't they?!"
"It's not just him, Captain Smoker's only 22 and he too has been making a name for himself in the new world as well."
"Yeah I heard he arrested several of Big Mom's allied crews over the last few months."
"What about the 'Lone Wolf', he's been no less impressive. Only 18 and single handedly defeated an allied crew of the Yonko Shanks using nothing but his sword. Just when he was about to arrest them, Yasopp showed up and the 2 had an epic war. Even though he lost, he was still able to retreat with his life."
"Yeah I heard about that too, I heard they competed with their sharpshooting skills and even though he lost, it wasn't as one sided as you would expect."
"That's incredible! I mean Yasopp is one of Shanks' top crew mates and is regarded as the world's best sniper!"
"Wait I thought the Lone Wolf was a swordsman?!"
"So did the rest of the world, but after that war we found out that his true expertise is his marksmanship. It was just that no other enemy before that had forced him to use his gun."
"Each one of the Navy's Empyrean Trinity are truly incredible! It's no wonder they're said to be the next generation of Admirals."
"It's said they spent 7 years undergoing highly intensive and specialised training under the supervision of former Admiral 'Black Arm Zephyr'. And since they completed their training a year ago they've taken the new world by storm!"
"Since the return of the Heavenly Demons, it has become repeatedly asked, 'who's stronger the Demonic Trio or the Navy's Empyrean Trinity."
"Surely it has to be the Empyrean Trinity!"
"I don't know about that. The Heavenly Demon himself defeated a strong World Government Official who was reported to be at the level of a Vice-Admiral and apparently he defeated him pretty easily.
The Vice-Captain of the Heavenly Demons singlehandedly killed Oven, one of Big Mom's top executives.
The 3 of them together were also able to force Admiral Akainu to go all out, even though they had to be rescued in the end, you have to remember they were up against a genuine Admiral!"
"Either way, we can all agree this new generation are full of Heaven defying talents."
Ori was slightly surprised when he heard the contents of their conversation.
[That day 9 years ago in North Blue caused the world to spin off course. When I killed Vergo, it meant that he wasn't there to stop Corazon and Law which allowed Law to turn into the Marine he is now.
With Smoker's personality it's easy to guess that after losing to me and then witnessing the death of an Admiral he was highly motivated to become stronger.
The only person I don't know is this 'Lone Wolf'. Whoever he is, for him to go up against Yasopp using marksmanship and not lose miserably is testament to his strength.
The Navy's Empyrean Trinity huh… I look forward to meeting you!]
All 3 of the Demonic Trio radiated war intent as their competitive spirit was ignited.
Seeing their reaction to the news, Otohime chuckled as she thought to herself.
[Ooh how exciting it must be to be young!]
As each of them were lost in their thoughts a middle aged man who was dressed like a bandit caught sight of Otohime and was stunned by her beauty.
"Haha miss, you should leave your current group and join me. I promise to make it worth your while."
Queen Otohime saw the lustful gaze but still smiled gracefully as she replied gently.
"Thank you for your offer but I'm happy where I am."
Hearing her rejection, others on the train looked at the man and snickered to themselves. Realising that people were laughing at him embarrassed the man which then turned into rage.
"I was just trying to be nice, you don't actually have a choice in the matter."
As he said that he reached across aiming to drag Otohime to him.
Ori glanced at the man and then closed his eyes.
"Sabo, handle it!"
As he said that, Sabo who was disguised as a young Goku from Dragon ball Z took the pipe which was disguised as a red staff and thrust it out hitting the bandit in the chest forcing him back.
"Leave now and we can pretend you were never here."
Seeing that he had been forced back by a kid embarrassed the bandit even further.
"Kid do you have any idea who you're messing with?!"
As he said that he drew the saber at his side and stabbed out towards Sabo's head. Sabo sneered seeing the man's attempt.
"Fine, have it your way!"
As he said that Sabo used his staff to skilfully parry the mans stab away from his body then thrust his staff into the bandit's gut knocking the wind out of him. When the man bent over to grab his stomach Sabo swung his staff from left to right hitting the man in the face sending him flying.
Not bothering with the shocked faces of the other passengers Sabo sat back down calmly as if it never happened.
"That kid's quite strong!"
"I doubt it's just the kid. Their whole group seems pretty strong!"
