27 Celestial Dragon's Arrival

Seeing Orion return Roman finally relaxed as he interrogated.

"Where were you? You were gone for way longer than you should've been if you were just looking for weapons and a mask."

Orion smiled wryly as he answered.

"Sorry, I got caught up at the shop when I met this amazing blacksmith. Then I had a run in with the marines."

Hearing that he clashed with the marines both Roman and Shaya were worried. Seeing their worry, Orion comforted them by saying.

"It's fine, I didn't get hurt and I lost them in the end!"

Seeing that Orion really was without wound, Roman relaxed.

"But I didn't fail in my mission, I got exactly what I went out for and more!"

As he said that, he passed the silver halberd on his shoulder to Roman.

When he picked it up Roman was shocked by it's weight, but more than that he was excited. He transformed his right arm, covering it with golden scales. As he did he started moving the Halberd as if it were an extension of his body.

"Haha I love it!"

Seeing Roman's love for the halberd, Orion nodded before turning to Shaya.

"Here, this is for you!"

As he said that, he passed a plain white mask and a scarlet bow to her.

Shaya looked at the bow in surprise. Just as she was about to reject his kindness, Orion smiled at her and said.

"We don't know what's going to happen over the 24 hours, so we need to be at our best. Every time you create a bow using your devil fruit, you seem to be affected physically. At least if you use this bow you can use the rest of your energy on arrows instead of wasting strength unnecessarily on a bow as well."

Hearing his logic Shaya smiled and thanked him as she promised herself to repay all the kindness he's shown to her.

Orion nodded at her before turning back to Roman.

"Ooh yeah, you're going to need to run to the shop and pick up a few hooded robes as we were a bit too naïve in thinking a mask alone would be enough to hide our identities."

[I don't know why I thought that a mask alone would be enough for an alter ego.]

"Also pick up some cloth so we can hide our weapons when carrying them. After that skirmish with the marines, I'm afraid they got a pretty good look at the weapons I was carrying."

When she heard that Shaya looked at him weirdly as she asked.

"Why didn't you just ask the shop to deliver them to the hotel instead of carrying them? I'm sure a 10 year old looking kid carrying a bunch of weapons bigger than him drew some unneeded attention your way."

Orion was dumbfounded when he heard that.

"Deliver them? The weapon shops do deliveries?!"

Shaya looked at Orion as if she was looking at a caveman.

"Of course they do. Lots of orders are too big for one person to carry so they offer a delivery service as long as it's in the town. How could you not know that, have you been living under a rock your whole life?!"

Orion smiled wryly as he replied.

"Pretty much!"

[If I had known that, getting away from the marines would've been a lot easier. Looks like I still have a lot to learn about the ways of this world. But I have to say fighting Smokey was a lot of fun haha!]

Orion looked at Roman as he instructed.

"Buy 6, enough for the 3 of us and the Boa sisters."

Roman nodded and left the room alone. He came back an hour later with 6 plain black hooded robes in hand.

When they got back the 3 kids sat round the desk as they made their plan.

At the port, a giant marine warship could be seen docking. The first to exit was a young and overweight man who looked around 18. He had hair that looked like it was gelled in the shape of a staff that pointed upwards with 2 bulbs at the top. He also had a wide chin and donned a red earing on one ear.

Like all celestial dragons, he wore a white suit with medal looking objects covering the front and a rectangular helmet around his head so he didn't breathe in the same air as the commoners. He also wore a white cape to match his suit.

He was sat on a bare chested man whose arms, and feet were chained preventing him from moving freely.

As he got off the ship he looked at the town and its inhabitants as if it and they were below a man of his stature. One look was all that was needed for anyone to tell this was a man whose arrogance soared to the heavens.

"Vergo, where are the slaves?"

"Saint Jalmack, the report I received when we were on the ship stated that the marines stationed here had found them and were just about to apprehend them, but that was a few hours ago so everything should be sorted by now.

Over there on the ground is Captain Smoker, the man in charge of this island. He'll be able to give us the most up to date information."

Vergo was a tall, light skinned man. He had a bowl shaped haircut making it look like he had a mushroom on his head and a zig zagged shaped beard that started from his sideburns and ended a few inches from his mouth.

He was wearing a pair of black sunglasses, a white suit and a Marine jacket that had the title "Commodore" printed on it. But the most eye catching feature on Vergo was the burger stuck to his left cheek.

When he heard that, Jalmack showed his disdain as he said.

"Hurry up and do what you need to do, I don't wish to stay on this rotten island any longer than necessary in case I catch something from these common vermin."

"Yes my lord!"

Hearing that, Vergo walked towards Smoker and his entourage. As he neared he noticed the bandages covering Smoker's chest, he couldn't help but feel something was wrong.

"Captain Smoker, what happened to you? A man of your stature couldn't have been injured by those 4 brats."

"Commodore Vergo, unfortunately we weren't able to capture the for criminals as we ran into some unforeseen trouble…"

Hearing that Vergo frowned slightly as he let out an involuntary sigh.

"Saint Jalmack, won't be pleased."
