Damn, I didn't expect to enjoy this but I'm not too sure how I'll extend this beyond what I can but I'll try.
I might add some slice of life here and there. Regardless, suggestions are a great help to me and how this story goes.

Light POV
Another week has gone by, and things are looking great. The world is slowly bending to my will. People are starting to cause widespread panic, and even the masses are beginning to praise the Kira persona. What started as whispers in the dark is now becoming a full-fledged movement. I can see it all: the potential for an uprising, the chaos, the anarchy that could follow if I don't set boundaries, if I don't control it. It's all so fragile. I have to take public action soon, or this will spiral out of control.
I'm glancing out my window, lost in thought. The FBI in the USA has finally gotten involved. Of course, it was inevitable. With them on the scene, I can't act as needlessly or recklessly as I did before. Every move now must be calculated, precise. One misstep, and everything I've built will crumble. But if I play this right, if I keep the world in suspense just a little longer, I can still shape this to my advantage.
The pressure is mounting, but so is the thrill. The challenge is what drives me. Let them come—I'll stay ten steps ahead.
I closed the curtain and smiled to myself, the weight of the world just beyond that thin fabric. Let them think they can stop me. I made my way to the desk, tapping my fingers rhythmically on its surface, my mind racing with possibilities. An alibi. I need a flawless alibi.
The FBI's presence here complicates things, but it's not an obstacle—it's just another piece of the puzzle. I need to know exactly who they sent, their names, their roles, their weaknesses. Once I have that information, it's simple. I'll eliminate them all, just like the others. Quietly. Methodically. One by one.
My fingers stilled on the desk, a plan slowly taking shape. They'll never see it coming.
It's a pity, really. His fiancée will soon face a great loss, and while I feel a pang of sympathy, it's overshadowed by the necessity of what's to come. He chose this path, walked into the fire, and now he must face the consequences. His fate was sealed the moment he crossed me.
It's almost uncanny how clear everything is to me. Even without Shinigami eyes, the pocket watch was a powerful tool, revealing names and details from afar. It's an advantage I'll exploit fully. Every detail, every vulnerability—nothing escapes my scrutiny. The web I weave will be tight and unbreakable.
'Unlike Light, I won't need a complicated plan to reveal his name therefore the bus scene won't happen which means no one will be able to pinpoint who I am.'
With deliberate precision, I wrote his name, outlining the scenario that would soon unfold. Each stroke of the pen was a step closer to executing my plan flawlessly.
One that was done, I went over and I reviewed the files from the backer, meticulously analyzing the information on individual talents. This knowledge is crucial—it could provide the edge I need to further my objectives.
The files were full of potential, each talent a possible asset in my grand design. I sifted through the data, weighing the benefits and applications of each. This was not just about planning for the immediate but about setting the stage for future moves. Every detail, every piece of information, was a building block in the perfect structure I was constructing.
'I can't use them forever and make them believe that I need them. I'll remove their existence if they ever overstepped their boundary.' I thought reading through the files seeing a few people that caught his eye would be a perfect accomplice.
'Never expected this person would be a detective.'
I read through the information about this person who had a rough life managing to become a top class detective on par with my father. Light never had the chance to re-evaluate his option but I don't and I'm certainly surprised to the face of the person.
'Their experience should be enough for me to guess what they want but if my guess is wrong then I'll just eliminate this person.' I finished reading their information about their life and past, ensuring that I can see them being the perfect accomplice.
I carefully noted each skill and ability, placing them into a well-organized section of my plan. I categorized them based on how they could be utilized to their fullest potential, ensuring that each talent would be leveraged strategically. This wasn't just about deploying skills; it was about maximizing their impact to secure victory.
Every individual's strengths were matched with specific tasks and roles, creating a seamless integration into my overarching strategy. This way, I could ensure that every move was precise, every action effective. As the pieces fell into place, I felt a growing sense of confidence. The plan was solid, and with these assets strategically positioned, the war was as good as won.
The plan is coming together perfectly. By positioning these individuals to act as my proxies, I can divert suspicion away from myself, creating a smokescreen that will obscure my true intentions. Their actions will be closely monitored, but as long as they perform their roles effectively, they will keep the focus off me.
I also intend to join the task force to offer my expertise and gather valuable information, inching closer to L. This will provide a crucial advantage, but I must tread carefully. L is perceptive and might notice something amiss if I'm not cautious.
Every move will need to be calculated, every interaction meticulously planned to avoid raising any red flags. The stakes are high, but with precision and care, the plan will succeed.

Unknown POV
The world is a cruel, twisted place. Every time I see someone suffer, someone good, someone kind, it feels like a slap in the face. It's as if the universe rewards the wicked and punishes those who try to make things better. Evil flourishes, not because it is strong, but because it knows how to manipulate, deceive, and destroy. And here I am, standing on the sidelines, watching it all happen.
I see the injustices, the unfairness, and I know deep down that something has to change. It burns within me. Why should those who lie, cheat, and hurt others always seem to get ahead? Why should goodness be silenced, mocked, or crushed underfoot? I want to scream at the top of my lungs, to demand that things be different, that the world be fair for once.
But no one hears. No one listens. Maybe they're too afraid, or maybe they've just accepted that this is how things are meant to be. But I refuse to believe that. I can't sit idly by while darkness continues to suffocate everything that's pure, everything that's just. I want to change it. I *will* change it.
Somehow, some way, I will make a difference
That's why I became a detective. I needed to fight back, to make a real difference in this cesspool of a world. But fighting fair doesn't work.
The system? It's built for the corrupt, rigged so they always come out on top. So I did what I had to do. I started using the same methods as the people I'm after. Someone has to do it. Someone has to play by their rules to truly understand how they operate, to beat them at their own game.
I didn't come to this decision lightly. There's a fine line between justice and vengeance, between doing what's right and becoming the very thing you despise. But I know I'm not like them. I still have a sense of purpose, a drive to see the world made better, even if it means getting my hands dirty. In a world where good is trampled on, where doing the right thing gets you killed or silenced, you have to adapt. You have to fight fire with fire.
Maybe the people on the outside won't understand. Maybe they'll think I've crossed the line, that I've become too much like the criminals I hunt. But they don't see the bigger picture. They don't know what it takes to bring the monsters to justice. And if I have to use their own weapons against them, then so be it. I'll be the necessary evil to wipe out the rot that plagues this world.
And then Kira appeared. It was like everything I had been struggling with suddenly made sense. Someone out there saw the world the way I did—someone who wasn't afraid to do what needed to be done. I didn't know how he was killing, how he was purging the world of the scum that poisoned it, but I didn't care. Kira was a force of nature, a beacon of justice where the system had failed.
I wanted to find him, not to stop him like the others, but to help him, to be by his side. He was like my God, my savior, my light in this dark world. Everything I believed in, everything I fought for, Kira was making it real. He was doing what I had only dreamed of—eliminating evil with a power beyond anything I could ever possess.
That's why I joined the task force. I knew they were chasing him, trying to track him down for L, the so-called greatest detective in the world. But for me, joining the task force wasn't about stopping Kira—it was about finding him. I wanted to understand how he did it, how he was reshaping the world. And more than anything, I wanted to stand beside him, to help him bring about the world we both envisioned—a world free of evil, a world where good wasn't trampled underfoot.
Kira wasn't just a criminal. He was a hero, a liberator. And I would do whatever it took to be part of that vision.
I'll manipulate them. I'll control the task force from the inside. They're just pawns in a much bigger game, and I'll move them however I need to. But I know it won't be easy—L is too sharp, too cunning, even for me. He's always ten steps ahead, always watching, always suspicious. But the rest of the task force? They'll be easier to handle. They don't think like L. They don't see the big picture like I do.
Matsuda, in particular, will be easy to control. He's eager, desperate to prove himself, and he trusts me far too much. The way he looks at me, it's almost pathetic. He's the perfect candidate. I can use him, guide his actions, and when the time comes, he'll take the blame. Kira's actions make it clear—he wants someone within the task force to be the fall guy, someone to divert suspicion.
Matsuda is the perfect dog for that role.
He'll do what I ask, never questioning, always eager to please. And when it all goes down, when the noose tightens, he'll be left holding the bag, none the wiser.
But then there's something else that's been gnawing at me. The more I study Kira, the more I analyze his actions, the more I realize—it's possible someone within the task force is Kira. It makes too much sense.
Kira always seems to be a step ahead, always aware of the task force's moves before we even make them. The theory is there, lingering in the background. Someone close, someone connected, could be the real Kira. And if that's the case, then my mission is even more important. I need to find him, align myself with him, and together, we can finish what we started.
I'll play my part perfectly. I'll deceive, manipulate, and control, all while pretending to work for L. But in the end, my loyalty lies with Kira. He is the one who will bring about the change this world desperately needs. And I'll be right beside him when it happens.
But Outsmarting L won't be easy. He's the greatest detective in the world for a reason—unpredictable, analytical, and always suspicious. But every mind has weaknesses, and even L can be beaten with the right strategy. To outsmart him, I'll have to think like him, but with one crucial difference: I must be more ruthless. Where he operates within the boundaries of reason, I'll exploit chaos.
First, Play the Long Game, L is incredibly patient, but I'll need to be more so. He thrives on reactions, clues, and patterns, but I won't give him any. I'll keep my moves subtle, let him think he's in control. I'll manipulate small actions over time, planting seeds of false leads that seem plausible but lead nowhere. If he's always chasing shadows, he can't get too close to the truth.
Second, Manipulate the Task Force, L relies heavily on the people around him. He's isolated and cold, which means he's less likely to have a full understanding of human emotions. I'll use this to my advantage, especially with people like Matsuda. I can make them act irrationally, which will force L to waste time cleaning up their messes, pulling his focus in multiple directions. Matsuda's eagerness can be a weapon in this regard. I'll make Matsuda seem suspicious, or even reckless enough that L starts doubting his worth, giving me a cover.
Third, Use Misinformation Strategically, L is a master at seeing through lies, but he's still bound by logic. I'll feed him just enough false information that makes sense within his framework. A few careful manipulations—altered timings, manufactured evidence—can steer his deductions where I need them. I'll make sure any mistakes I make seem like they belong to someone else, guiding him toward a different conclusion.
Fourth, Control the Environment, Kira's ability to kill depends on information, and L knows this. But I can make L doubt his control over the investigation by staging moments of unpredictability. Maybe leak something to the media, something Kira shouldn't know. Or create a scenario where Kira appears to know something only L could. Planting the idea that Kira has access to the task force or L's inner circle will sow distrust. If L starts questioning who to trust, his team will become unstable, and that will work in my favor.
Fifth, Frame a Scapegoat, I'll ensure that someone else takes the fall, and Matsuda is the obvious choice. His loyalty and desperation to prove himself make him the perfect candidate. I'll manipulate his actions, push him into situations where he looks suspicious. L will see it as a reckless move by a foolish agent, but I'll guide it so that Matsuda's behavior seems like it could be connected to Kira. If L even starts to believe that Matsuda could be a Kira sympathizer or an accidental pawn, his attention will shift. That gives me the opening I need to operate without scrutiny.
And finally, Create a Double Game, The most effective way to outsmart L is to make him think he's winning. I'll give him small victories, let him think he's getting closer. A trap that seems like he's about to capture Kira—only for it to be a false lead, one I've created. L thrives on logic and evidence, so I'll feed him just enough to keep him on the wrong path. By the time he realizes it's a setup, it'll be too late. He'll have wasted time and resources while Kira—and I—remain two steps ahead.
The key is patience, precision, and deception. L can be outsmarted if I can keep him off balance, force him into making mistakes, and control the flow of information. While he relies on logic and deduction, I'll use unpredictability, manipulation, and misdirection. He might be the greatest detective in the world, but even he can't predict everything. In the end, I'll be the one controlling the board, and L will only realize it when it's too late.
Once I eliminate the threat—once L is out of the way—everything will fall into place. Kira and I will be unstoppable. Together, we will create the world we've both envisioned, a world ruled by true justice. No more corruption, no more evil hiding in plain sight. The powerful who abuse their authority, the criminals who walk free—none of them will have a place in this new world.
Kira's vision is perfect. He understands that to bring about true peace, true order, we need to tear down the broken system and rebuild it from the ground up. Justice isn't something that can be handed out by weak courts or flawed governments. It must be absolute, unwavering. We'll be the ones to make sure that happens.
When I finally stand beside Kira, there will be no more pretending, no more hiding in the shadows. The world will know that Kira is their savior. They will follow him, obey him, and respect the order we bring. Those who oppose us, who cling to the old, broken ways, will be eliminated, just like the evildoers before them. Only those who are willing to live by Kira's new laws will survive in this world of true justice.
We'll watch as the chaos of today is replaced with a peace that has never been known. People will fear wrongdoing, not because of the flawed legal systems, but because Kira's judgment will be swift and inescapable. The world will thrive under this new order, where only the good and the obedient are left standing.
And I'll be there, by Kira's side, guiding and supporting this new era. We will shape the future together. The corrupt world that once trampled over justice will be nothing more than a distant memory, replaced by the reign of true justice—Kira's justice.
I headed inside my home and noticed something was not right simply by how my dog didn't seem to welcome me. I carefully looked around sensing something might have gotten inside my home and quickly took out my gun preparing to kill my intruder if needed.
Who could it be? Has someone realized I'm doing my own investigation? No, I made careful decisions and observations to leave no trace. I slowly moved around my apartment checking every part of my place, finding nothing out of the ordinary until I arrived at my living room.
"Who are you?"
I calmly asked since I wasn't afraid of anything. What I saw was a person. It was a man around 5' 10½ wearing black Overcoat and black form fitting shirt that covered even their neck. He also wore a helmet that hid their face and even hair with gloves that will certainly avoid fingerprints to be left in a crime scene. He calmly sat on the sofa reading the files that I compiled and made. The dogs seem to be sleeping, not even bothered by his presence.
"You were looking for me." He said with a voice changer that hides even their voice making it near impossible to know who he truly is.
"Looking…for you?" I uttered shocked leaving me flabbergasted. Is this true? Is he truly my Light!? The Kira I've been searching for!?
Is it possible to be an imposter? No, why would they target me and have an imposter. Perhaps a proxy? He won't possibly reveal himself personally!?
"Your thoughts are quite clear and No, I am Kira. I don't need to prove myself and can simply leave if you're not satisfied." His tone seems to hold a hint of disappointment. No! I can't let this happen! Even if he is a proxy or puppet doesn't matter. What matters is that Kira. My Kira is willing to contact me!
"Forgive me. I find it hard to believe that you would try to contact me in person and I thought you could be a proxy." I explained while he remained silent then nodded.
"I've been searching for someone like you. Someone who could become a subordinate of mine. A person who shared the same vision as I do. A candidate perfect to sit on the throne of a Horsemen."
Horsemen? What is he talking about? Is it symbolic? A code? If I had to guess it is the four horsemen of Apocalypse. How interesting. The being who started the end of the old world to create a new one.
Perfect, this could be my chance to be of use to him. If he is not Kira then I'll manipulate him and eliminate this imposter.
"No, if there is an imposter, let that person do as he pleases. The name of Kira is already tarnished by the corrupt who fear their reign is about to end." Can he read my mind? No, I should be predictable in his eyes. He was able to deduce that even though I don't show any change in my facial expression. Unbelievable.
"I noticed that you've been investigating me and stored files that could have been crucial to the police and yet you hid the truth." He said closing the files then looking at me while I didn't even notice that I had placed down my gun and approached him.
"Like you, I want to make a better world where crime is no more, evil is gone, the corrupt are dead, the one who delight in the suffering of others vanishes. There are many things in this world that would increase happiness upon removal. And I will remove them all using your power." I answered calmly that there's nothing I can lose nor do I fear imprisonment. A moment of silence that felt like an eternity where I could almost hear our heart beating.
It only ended when he took the file and I was astonished when the file floated away. There was no string. This person was somehow able to move it like an esper! He truly is Kira!?
"Good, I like your answer. You will be perfect to become my Horsemen of Conquest." He said and began to unmask himself. I was pleasantly surprised who the person was who I already suspected but new evidence seems to have misled many people. Matsuda has already started to become a prime suspect.
"Light Yagami. As expected." I smiled, staring at him straight into the eyes. He smiled lightly and chuckled, holding out his hand.
"It's a pleasure to finally meet you, Miss Makima."
