I didn't know whether Sven was stupid or he was just so carefree and unsuspecting that he believe everything at face value. How could he not wonder that for a month while he was gone, there were ways his mother could look for him?
"Ugh… I knew they were together in that!" Sven ruffled his hair as he grunted. All I could do was stare at him with conflict in my eyes.
It didn't seem he was angry, more like he looked betrayed. According to his story, it seemed Sven's parents were just as strange as him. I get it that his father threw him deep into the forest to survive all alone. It was not like His Grace, my father didn't make his children kill each other to teach us about survival.
"So, what is it like?" I asked, putting a pause to his ramblings as he looked back at me. "Back in your place. What was it like?"
He blinked and stared at me as if he couldn't believe his ears. He didn't point it out, though.
"Back in Ronmin?" he hummed, looking up.
