002 - Welcome to the Apocalypse

After sitting at the window I realized that I really needed to figure out every thing that was happening, and I needed to now. First I took in the rest of my surroundings. Still the same 12 people. We were sitting in the a classroom on the second floor of the building. There were some snacks and lunchboxes left behind by the students. We had no weapons. We have systems and maybe the most important is that we are in the apocalypse.

'So this is how I begin the apocalypse huh? A group of high school students, very little food, a relatively safe position for now, and no real weapons. Welp, let's make the most of it.'

So I proceeded to try to talk to everyone in the classroom.

"Umm... hi everyone."

I got a few heads to look my way, the others didn't look straight at me but gave me some sign of acknowledgement.

"First of all, my name is Jack. Second, we have systems. Lastly, it seems as though the apocalypse. Thoughts?"

The stranger I first talked to responded first, seeing as everything was crazy before this was my first real look at them.It appeared that she was a girl in some athletic clothes. She was a brunette with long straight hair, her face was well above average. She was a little lacking in the breast department but she more than made up for it with a nice ass and some killer legs. Totally my type. Of course I wasn't some loser who would let my hormones rule me especially at a time like this. Maybe if it wasn't the apocalypse I would like to date her but now? We'll have to wait and see.

"Hi Jack, I'm Sylvia but you can call me Sylvie. The rest of you already know me. My first question is if this is all really happening? The second is what are we gonna do if it is?"

"Well Sylvia I can say that this seems real enough for your first question. For your second question I'm not too sure."

Another kid of average build for a 16 year old guy named Dan introduced himself then said,

"How about we elect a leader? My votes for you."

"That's a good suggestion, every group needs a leader. How about the rest of you? Do you all agree with me being leader for now?"

They nodded their heads.

A few other kids spoke up about food, shelter, and such. All of which were addressed for now. Some of them even surprised me with the things they brought up like when will the power go out. When will we have to scavenge for food? Where can we get weapons and how will we make makeshift ones? A bunch of good stuff.

'At least I'm not with a bunch of idiots.'

"Okay everyone, okay. Thank you for the questions and discussions. Let's all check our systems now and figure out what they're all about."

I focused my mind and said internally,

'System!'

With a ding a translucent blue screen showed up with these showing just what a game would.

It'd been a dream of mine since the first time I'd read a system webnovel. To have a system, to be able to grow stronger, to be able to change my fate! First though, more exploring of the system.

Sure enough there was one free stat point. Looking at it I wanted to add the stat point to intelligence.

This is god-like! The possibilities are endless, if I level up enough I could dominate everything! First comes accumulation though. I must keep this a secret until I'm strong enough. I better get back to chatting with the group now though, share some of our findings with each other.
