Li Mu's eyes showed signs of panic. He quickly released his seal as he used his strongest defensive technique on himself. Obsidian Defence. 

The premise of this advance Earth technique was to force multiple layers of earth together to create an impenetrable layer of defence on his bother. Even though, Li Mu had not perfected it yet, the level of mastery was already more than enough to block all attacks in his level of cultivation.

Li Tian did not care about Li Mu's now glistening black rock skin. He charge forward with the sphere in his hand. He already limited the energy intake of the Spiralling Sphere. After all, if his teacher who was in the Core Formation Realm could not face this attack in its incomplete form, how could a measly 8th layer Qi Refinement Realm student take this hit?

When the white sphere of doom hit the centre of Li Mu's chest, the older boy felt a strong vibration that reverberated through his body. There was this weird feeling like his body was getting entirely sucked into the small sphere in front of him. 

The Obsidian Defence had long been broken through, his robe torn to shreds. Then, when Li Mu thought it was over, a wave of pain blasted forth from his chest and was propelled backwards tens of meters. Within ten seconds, the fight was over. The exchange between the two only lasted for a short three seconds. 

Everyone present that did not like Li Tian's family had furrowed their eyebrows. They realised they had largely underestimated the youngest of their family.

"Mu Er!" Zhuge Si Ting got out of her seat and dashed towards her son. The blast from earlier looked deadly.

"This…" Onlookers like Li Ze Ming and Li Ming who used to be the University's Dragon ranked holders were conflicted by Li Tian's technique.

"Would you be able to take that Spiralling Sphere head on?" Li Ze Ming asked Li Ming who was sitting beside him.

Li Ming frowned in thought, before shaking and nodding his head. "If you're talking about just using bodily techniques, I do not have anything that can counteract that move. However, if I am allowed to use my sword, I should be able to stop the sphere from coming in contact with me."

Li Ze Ming listened and thought about it. He nodded in agreement, "What you said is similar to my thoughts too. I am also unable to block that move. Only with a sword would it even be possible to stop it."

Beside both of them sat Li Chi who had overheard what they said. Li Chi felt lucky at the moment that his mother had not sent him in to fight this devilish human. The twelve-year-old boy had used a technique that was analysed by the two ex-geniuses of his university to be unblockable with the body.

Li Chi looked at his mother, which seemed to be having the same exact thoughts as his son. Luckily, she had waited to Zhuge Si Ting to court death first. If not, it would've been his son lying on the ground at this moment.

Li Kui, who was watching the entire scene unfold before him, finally stood up and walked towards Li Mu. He took a small pill out of his robe pocket and passed it to Zhuge Si Ting who was trying to wake her son up. The elder said, "The boy had only suffered a mild Qi shock and is temporarily knocked out. Bring him back home and let me rest for the night. In the morning, just feed him this Qi Rejuvenation pill and he will be fine sooner or later."

"But Patriarch… Li Tian, he…" 

"Enough! Bring him back to your home now! I do not want to hear a compliant when you were the one who initiated this spar." Zhuge Si Ting wanted to continue fighting for her son's innocence, yet was interrupted and reprimanded by Li Kui.

"Yes, patriarch." Zhuge Si Ting bit her lips as she carried her son in her arms. Li Bu nodded goodbye to his siblings and father before following behind his wife and son. Li Ze Ming also bidded farewell to Li Ming and left home too.

Li Kui turned around to see Li Tian standing around on the grass. The elder placed his hand on his grandson's head and smiled, "Was that a technique created by you?"

"Mmm." Li Tian nodded. He explained to his grandpa, while the other onlookers listened curiously, "This is the finalised technique from the entrance test. The technique is created as a negation and reversal move that can neutralise a person's elemental technique. So long as I supply sufficient Qi, the Spiralling Sphere should not have an opponent."

"This…" The other family members, including Li Kui were blown away by the little boy's ingenious creation. 'A twelve-year-old was able to create his own technique that can rival any kind of defensive technique.'

"Tian Er, I'm proud of you. Hahaha! No, the entire Li Clan should learn from you!" 

Hearing Li Kui's praises, Li Tian rubbed the back of his head shyly. He did not know what to say as the main reason why he even created the Spiralling Sphere was because he wanted to replicate one of his favourite main character's abilities in Space Ninjas.

With Li Bu's family leaving early everyone else did not stay much longer. Li Tian went back home with his parents and siblings with big smiles. His parents, although they did not say anything, were very proud of their son in that moment.
