Truck-kun Ran Me Over: Reincarnated in a Magical World!

Jeremy, an unassuming otaku whose mundane existence takes an unexpected turn when he meets an untimely end under the wheels of a truck. To his bewilderment, Jeremy awakens in a parallel world reminiscent of Earth, yet with a fascinating blend of advanced technology, magic, and the intricate discipline of martial arts. Rechristened as Li Tian, he finds himself born into a distinguished Martial Clan in The Land of Hua. Determined to stay off the stereotypical path of anime protagonists, Li Tian resolves to lead a tranquil life as a background character, basking in the protective embrace of his newfound family. Little does he know that his rebirth comes with extraordinary gifts—an SSS tier Intelligence Stat and a mysterious system that adds a layer of complexity to his seemingly ordinary existence. Beyond the grandeur of dominant nations lies an unexplored terrain fraught with peril—the domain of Demonic Beasts. In stark contrast to the structured societies of major countries, these wild expanses harbor creatures driven by instinct, launching indiscriminate attacks on unsuspecting humans. Look forward to Li Tian's quest for serenity, as he grapples not only with the complexities of his newfound abilities but also contends with the ever-present threat posed by these relentless adversaries. Li Tian’s CPT

A prime example would be determining which cultivation manual would best fit their child. Unlike normal children who must use the CPT to determine their child's body type or cultivation proficiency rating, the major clans all have elders with high levels in cultivation. Those in the Nascent Soul Realm have long reached a point where they could easily analyse a child's body if they imbued Qi into their eyes.

When Li Tian was a baby, the system had masked Li Tian's cultivation and body type from his grandpa's eyes. If it wasn't for that, he would've long been discovered as a monster that could cultivate since he was one. Li Tian had only found out about this function when he was seven or eight and this was when he decided to change it to make it look like he had started cultivating then by himself.

The CPT was just a type of certificate of authentication for the clan people to enter schools or organizations. The drive to the testing site was only thirty minutes away as the Li Clan's compound was situated close to the Government area of Ningguo. When they reached, Li Tian did a fingerprint and retina scan before his parents and him were separated. Li Xian and Ming Guang Rong headed to the viewing deck, where parents of children were allowed to watch over the test process.

Li Tian continued by himself, walking down a long dimly lit hallway. Eventually, he reached an exit which opened to a huge open room. The room spanned 100m in length and width, 50m in height. There was a giant spherical shaped machine that gulfed and took up 2/3 of the entire room. Steam occasionally blasted out from the strategically placed holes at the top quadrants of the sphere. There was a standing deck just below the metal machine. Currently, a young boy, dressed in a simple T-shirt and jeans, was doing his CPT scan on the standing deck. From the numerous screens that were recording his reactions, the boy looked very nervous, seemingly praying for a good result.

Even though it was around 8.45 in the morning, the surrounding of the machine had approximately a hundred children, awaiting their turn. Some looked eager, while many looked like the boy on the deck, nervous and worried. Li Tian knew that if he had not been born with a system and was just a regular human, he would probably react the same way as the others.

Thirty seconds passed and eventually, a result appeared in front of the boy on a medium-sized virtual screen. The screen showed the results:

Cultivation Proficiency: C tier

Element Affinity: Water

Body Type: Nil.

When the results were shown, there was a sign of relief on the boy's face. It seemed that he just wanted the chance to cultivate. In this society, if you did not have the brains nor the martial talent, a person would be given menial jobs that could barely make ends meet. If a person at least had some kind of cultivation talent, this meant that they could at least be a foot soldier that could earn them some retirement pensions and secure them a stable job.

After the boy left the platform, the next child was called up. It seemed that there were around a hundred children, so Li Tian would have to wait an hour approximately. In this time, Li Tian had witnessed what the system had explained before about the different distributions of CPT results. Many children taking the test only had tiers between F to C. Very few had ranks above B tier. In addition, the element affinities are usually Fire, Water, Earth, or Wind. Only one individual so far had the extremely rare Darkness element. Some more, the greatest number of elements a person had concurrently was two. In terms of body type, no one was had a unique body type.

Just as Li Tian's time spent in the room reach an hour, a boy dressed in a red and white hoodie from the rest had stepped up to the platform. From Li Tian's observation, he could tell this person came from a family of affluence.

The boy's name was Jiu Zhi Ming. The hoodie he wore was made from the silk of a Rank 6 Demonic Spider and could block the punch of a Core Formation stage cultivator. His brother had been begging his mother to purchase this for him. Sadly, Li Xi recently did horribly for his mid terms and was stripped off his allowance. Jiu Zhi Ming had a despising look on his face as he observed his surrounding from the standing deck. As he placed his hands on the scanning platform, the machine started to calibrate his cultivation proficiency.

Cultivation Proficiency: S tier

Element Affinity: Fire and Darkness

Body Type: Imperial Flames Body

When the results appeared, the boy in the hoodie had a knowing look on his face. Gasps of admiration could be heard all around. Even in the parent's viewing area, many people were busy gossiping.

"Damn, that's an S tier! We really saw an S tier today!"

"What a scary talent! If only my child had even a third of his talent…"

"Did you see his element affinity? He even had the Darkness element. Both Fire and Darkness are known as the two most destructive elements."

"This boy, Jiu Zhi Ming will indeed be a force to reckon with in the future. Coupled with the Imperial Flames Body, I heard that this body type can amplify his control of the Fire elemental Qi, as if he was the ruler of the flames."

"His family name is Jiu. Couldn't that mean he was probably from the Jiu family of Ningguo? The Jiu family was only just below the Li Clan in terms of power."

"Yes. I've heard about their young master Jiu Zhi Ming who was always going around challenging others ever since he was ten. I also heard that he has a terrible personality and looked down on others that are weaker than him."

The boy acted all aloof as he left the venue. Jiu Zhi Ming snorted at the peers, not batting an eye at any of them.

When Li Tian saw everyone's reaction, he knew he made the right decision to hide his real talents. From his own personal analysis, it wasn't impossible that his current Stats, elemental affinity, and body type would give him an SSS tier result. He did not want to be place in the limelight, especially if this SSS tier would draw the attention of the whole world. Every country had their own way of ranking their people. The CPT was the Land of Hua's way. Although the Li Clan could protect him in Hua, if he ever did go overseas, he did not want to incur the wrath of other countries. At least, not until he can safely protect himself.

Shortly after five more people, Li Tian's name was finally called. When everyone saw his family name, everyone knew that this boy most likely came from the Li Clan. After all, this city was Ningguo and everybody knew which family had the most power. Li Tian's arrival got everyone excited and curious. Just how strong is this boy?

'System, is the masking on?'

[Yes. Masking function is on. The CPT will not be able to detect your true cultivation proficiency.]

'Alright.' With the assurance of the system, Li Tian placed his hands on the scanner. The surface felt cold. Li Tian felt a rumble before a tiny flow of Qi zipped through his body stream. He could tell that the machine was essentially a supercomputer that ran computations on a person's cultivation proficiency, based on the person's body construction. This was like how the powerful elders can determine if a person had a strong cultivation proficiency with their eyes. Its just that they are not able to accurately calculate and formulate a tier list of the whole population of Hua.

Li Tian's scan took longer than other. Probably because the computer was unable to understand some portions of his body. However, under the guise of the system, the computer probably thought of this anomaly as a random mutation in his body. It was nothing to worry about.

Ding. Li Tian's result soon appeared on the virtual screen.

Cultivation Proficiency: S tier

Element Affinity: Fire, Wind and Light

Body Type: Nil.

"Ssss… As expected of one of the four major clans… Their descendants are something to feast your eyes on."

"Another S tier and this time, it was a future triple elemental cultivator."

"Man how I wish I could be born into the Li Clan too! Then I would be able to have a better cultivation proficiency…"

"Yeah, genetics sure play a huge roll in our lives. With my C tier talent, I guess I'll just aim to be a foot soldier of the army."

"You took the words right out of my mouth. We cannot compete with the geniuses like Li Tian and Jiu Zhi Ming…"

"The last triple element cultivator from the Li Clan was the genius swordsman, Li Ze Ming, who had Fire, Earth, and Wind. His fusion talent was something else."

"Ah, but this Li Tian has the Light element, which is a very rare element to have! Wow, to say I am jealous is not an understatement."

"This boy was probably raised with the best resources ever since he was born. His cultivation level must be very high as compared to the common folks who haven't even started their cultivation journey."
