/"So,/" Parker raised an eyebrow. /"Where were you two on Saturday?/"

Nicole almost chocked on her soda and Jason's eyes widened as he looked up from his sandwich.

The group sat at their table at lunch, everyone drowned out in a conversation except for Nicole who was zoned out or avoiding eye contact with anyone and Jason who would occasionally say a single word in response.

/"W-what are you talking about?/" Jason sputtered.

/"Well, we all agreed at the dance that we would meet up on Saturday by the diner for lunch... hoping that we would have gotten over our hangovers by then,/" Parker explained. /"You and Nicole were the only ones who seemed to forget./"

/"I uh.. slept in../" Nicole muttered.

/"I had to finish a report,/" Jason added, looking back down and avoiding eye contact with anyone.
