Chapter 49. Elizabeth

The sound of my phone ringing with an incoming call suddenly woke me up, I had the computer on next to my bed, I had fallen asleep while writing the next chapter of my Maipad novel!

I looked for where the phone rang, I went to find it under the bed, it must have fallen when I fell asleep, I picked it up and answered the call without noticing who was calling.

Hello?" my voice still sounded as if I had just gotten up, I was yawning as I said it.

Sorry, wrong number," I said without thinking, just by hearing that he was looking for his "partner" I hadn't paid attention to the rest and got ready to hang up.

No, I mean," he began to speak quickly, "I am "Mr. Lodge," and because we came to an agreement the other day I thought I might call you that. 

 You'd better not do it," I replied coldly, "you have to keep your distance, Socia sounds like something very close and I don't want that.
