30. Failed Leader

CRACK!

Randy teleported into his exam class.

The computers who was used during the exam were scatter due the after effect of the magic. Luckily what happens during a Time Fracture won't affect anything in the real world.

There can be a commotion even a new religion when it happens. Roads that are often damaged by car crash itself can make local become believe if there is something mystical are hating and try to kill anyone on the road. Especially if someone seen the cracked road that created due to starfish monster as before.

"Ha... ha... ha...(pant)"

Randy looked around in the room carefully.

Nearby him was Hannah's body who was fainted because a powerful blow from Rena's lance.

"So this is your plan? Make a mess, so there will be a J or V coming to Rena, while you teleport and run from them?" Dalor praised the young man. "But honestly, making someone else hold your enemy is not right! Moreover, they do not realize that they are being used."

"Shut up, you are a demon, don't act like an angel!"

"I am The Demon King. At least, I have a bit of nice character not like other demons!"

"Give it up, but it can't heed the fact that you're a demon."

"Whatever, let me surrender for you..." Dalor gave up on this debate.

What will they do now? This is not the right place to hide. Sooner or later, Farida who is still fighting with Rena will soon be defeated.

'There must be a way...' Randy thought as he held his chin.

"Telepathy!"

Using this magic, maybe hope will come to him.

"Randy?" Ira's voice sounded vague.

"Ira?"

"What's wrong? Where are you?"

"In my exam's room. Meet me there, right away!"

Without explaining any longer. Randy wants to get this over with. He should not prolong the problem.

The appearance of unknown sound instantly made those two began startled.

"Who?!"(Ira and Randy)

The voice they heard sounded familiar. But when they want to try to remember it for sure. None of them succeeded.

"You're so mean, how could you forget about me? Didn't Randy is the one who release me from that curse?"

That seductive perverted voice.

Unmistakable, the owner of the voice is Dian Pitaloka Mandasari. The one that Randy released back then. She is also a former deviant Valkyrie.

Randy began to sweat, he still remembers what happen back there.

"Dian? How did you get in our communication?" From this telepathy, Ira asked nervously.

"Ah, shouldn't Randy have told to both of you~?"

"Both?"(Ira)

Randy was instantly bathed in sweat. He forgot to mention this to the both of them (Ira and Hannah). Now Dian has joined and will help them to gather the monsters that hunted by J and V.

"Randy, what you're-" (Ira)

Immediately, the telepathic connection was severed by Randy. Ira's voice asking Randy for an explanation disappeared without a trace.

"Ah! Shit, bad signal!" Randy said while bathed in sweat.

"What happened boss?" Dalor asked confused, but because Dalor could see what Randy saw. "So, you were secretly talking about that to Dian? And Dian believe in you due to Justice of the Word?! But you aren't talking about this to the other because Dian's pervertness almost made you lose consciousness?!" Dalor's voice looked dull and limp.

The stupid move chosen by Randy actually made things even more horrible.

CRASH!

In just minutes. The door of the room opened and Ira was standing at the door with a wryly smiling face.

"Randy..."

It's over.

She wants an explanation.

"Wait, Ira!" A loud voice is holding back the Ira who is about to blow up.

When Ira turned her head, she saw Dian's face smiling ignorant. She seemed very happy after doing something's like this.

"You better not be mad yet. It's all a just my joke," said that woman without feel any sin in her heart.

"Oh, really? Almost, I was ready to tie him up if he really tried to do something pervert to you, you know?" Said Ira as she's showing the rope.

Where the rope come from?

"Gulp" Randy who saw, spontaneously scared and also relieved.

He was relieved because Dian immediately explained the situation. He was still afraid because Ira did not hesitate to do that to him.

"For now, why not just talk?" Dian tried to walk closer to Ira.

Perhaps this is what is they called, trying to be friendly with someone they just met in order to gain their trust. That's what Dian is doing right now.

"Well, I agree(while looking back at Randy)."

They both walked towards the relieved Randy. But as they approached, their gaze was locked by Hannah who was lie unconscious.

Ira didn't feel jealous when she saw Hannah there. They are already good friends. And again, right now Hannah is seriously injured.

"Hannah?!"

Ira immediately walked over to Hannah to check on her condition.

"Wow, what an unexpected sight! A Valkyrie concerned with Justiciar. But it might happen..." Dian gave a look that made this atmosphere become empty while her eyes went around in this room. "... For many reasons, they became like this."

From her gestures, she shows that she currently does not understand about school. From what Randy remember from the exam before. Dian's name was written as absent until now. She was supposed to go back to school today, but she didn't.

Why is she still not coming to school?

After saying that, Dian looked back at Randy who looked a bit of hurt as well. "So, who have done this?" Dian asked as she's showing off how big her chest is.

"Someone who has the same reason as you..."

"The same reason?" Dian didn't seem to understand what the man meant.

"You don't understand?"

"Not at all..." The girl's face does not show any lies.

"Deviant Justiciar, Rena."

Hearing that name, Dian did not react at all. But after hearing the word 'Deviant', she became interested and curious with that deviant girl.

"Deviant Justiciar, huh? I can't believe it, even in Justiciar's side, this thing still can be happened." Dian made a seduced smile. "The world is getting more and more interesting."

The direction of the conversation is getting too random. He better make this clear before that damn deviant appear.

"Stop it, Dian! You better help me, now! You have promised, didn't you?" Randy diverted Dian's mind before she flew further from original discussion.

"Help for what?"

At that moment, Randy curled his lips to make a sly smile.

At first, he wanted to ask Ira for help, but because there was Dian here. So, He will prefer the ones with more power.

On the other hand, Farida was facing the Deviant by self. The two of them floated in the air right above the ruins of the school building. A spark from 2 pieces of iron is clearly visible from below even with the naked eye.

CHUNK!

SHANK!

CLANG!

Black waves shot at the ruins until they became more and more shapeless. It was also due to of the sound of Farida's sword and Rena's lance colliding with each other.

Some chains unleashed by Farida but missed and crashed into the walls of the ruins.

The fight looks unbalanced. Rena didn't seem to have any trouble fighting the leader of the Justiciars. She was still able to show off her condescending smile towards her opponent.

On the other hand, Farida who was fighting by wasting her mana started panting. If she continues, she will run out of mana and will not be able to attack again.

"Come on Farida, is it how strong you are? Is this the strength of the Leader of Justiciar?" Rena harassing sound will make anyone hear it become mad.

Farida who heard it began to be carried away by emotions of that deviant's words. But as the leader, such a thing must be endured by her. Consumed by that traitor's word only ruin her image.

"Do nothing? And just shut up after being insulted like that? It is unfortunate, that the Justiciar has a very weak leader like this..." A crescent smile came out of the girl's face.

"..." Despite hearing such ridicule, her opponent was still speechless.

The sword she wielded was gripped firmly to contain her emotions. What Rena said was deeply tore the Farida's heart. If it goes on, maybe she'll get out of control.

Silence fell to the both of them. The moon shining in the red sky was the only one who saw those two girl fighting each other's eyes. They just stare at each other without anyone doing anything.

But it didn't last long.

"Cih, boring!"

Rena thrust her lance towards the silent Farida at a very full speed.

Farida who saw it was just floating and staring sharply at Rena who did the charge attack. Her eyes seemed to hint that she was ready to brush off the lance at the right time.

But before that happens.

"RAGNAROKKKK!" A loud noise made the entire school area resound and shaken.

"Huh?!" Both Farida and Rena were distracted by the voice.

When they turned around to the sound's source, a giant snake suddenly appeared in the school yard and was opening its mouth wide. Its mouth was pointed straight at the both of them.

Farida who remembered this incident immediately flew away from where she stood. A fatal outcome is likely to occur if she is get hit by its breath.

BURN!

With just a moment, the serpent's fiery blast instantly obliterated anything that hit it.

Farida who managed to dodge immediately opened her eyes wide towards the monster. But like a ghost, the snake instantly disappeared and left no trace.

"Was that, Jormungandr?!" Farida stared in disbelief at what had just interrupted their fight.

Some blinked eyes, and finally Farida realized that she was distracted in the middle of the fight.

Remembering that, Farida's immediately turned her head fast to where Rena had last hovered in the air. But when she saw her opponent, no one was there.

She's dead? It was impossible, Farida's opponent couldn't have been so stupid as to be hit by an extremely readable attack. Farida immediately thought of another possibility.

"Even so, nothing is out of my mind..."

Did the fight just end? Rena's whereabouts are still unknown, but for sure. She's still alive and looking for someone else.
