26. Now is the Time!

Randy ran to continue his ways to the where battleground was take a place. A sky that full of fireworks was gone. There is nothing interesting happen at the sky, only the red sky as casual.

When he arrives at the destination.

"Huh?!" Randy was shocked.

In his sight, there are a lot of girls in full armor lying on the side road and the middle of the street.

The girls groaned in pain while lying on the hard asphalt. This is all happened because of this fool, and dense Randy still doesn't realize it that he was the one who made it.

"What happening to them?!" Randy tried to check on the one of the fainted Justiciars, but his steps stopped as soon as he remembered that he mustn't show up.

"Cih, what should I do now?!" His brain was spinning 100 times faster, but nothing came out.

BRUCK BRUCK BRUCK!

Randy banging his own head against the wall, he hoped the idea come out from his mind.

"Not at all... I don't get any idea." Randy sigh.

Randy had to hurry to think something, because the place where the J's were lying was near at the tentacle monster was stand.

While peering from behind the pillars of the building, Randy tried to analyze the monster from there.

"It seems the monster is not an octopus or a squid, but a starfish. But it's weird, why did the monster prick like tentacles?" Randy grumbles as his eyes were narrowed.

Suddenly, the starfish opened its eyes which were in the center of its body.

The starfish is like Decarabia in a video game. But with hollow tentacles and a hairy back.

Slowly its eyeballs glanced at the collapses J's on the sidewalk and the road. But the monster ended up ignoring them, instead the eyeballs locking onto a place behind the pillar, right where Randy's hiding.

"Ehehehe," laughing before death, that's what Randy is doing right now.

Without wasting more time, those tentacles of starfish pointed and thrust them towards the young man.

SRECTH! SRECTH!

That things tapering and thrust towards the young man.

"Shit! Don't get me into that stupid situation again!" Randy ran with all his might from those tentacles who was chasing him.

"If I were a girl maybe this situation would be a cultured enough, but in reality, I was a boy!"

One by one the tentacles thrust towards the young man, but no one can hit the boy correctly.

Randy turn around and face at those Tentacles. A moment after, he took out Dalor's sword and prepared to cut one of the upcoming tentacles.

The tentacles split in two. The tentacles that was cutted off immediately poured a green blood, while the part that was still connecting to the main body retracted and returned to its original size.

"Hannah had already cut this part of tentacle, and the result... The tentacles of this monster are still good and no wound from the sharp object can be seen! This monster can regenerate its own body?! What do I have to do to defeat it?" Randy doesn't know anything at the moment.

It's the first time he's doing this without help of Dalor, or Ira and Hannah.

His hand that held the sword were trembled and could not hold the sword properly, his sweat began to wet his spine, his gaze began to blacken and would be fainted out.

Randy is still not able to fight this monster alone, he is still a loser who could only rely on the strength from the others. Even now, he can still survive because of the help of one of his ally.

"Wake up, you foolish mortal! Will you pass out just because you fought this kind of creature?!" An echo comes out of nowhere and restored the boy lost consciousness.

"Who? Where?!" Randy looked around but nobody than the J who was lying unconsciousness.

"Do you get amnesia, or what? Why you forget about me?!" From the way he spoke, Randy immediately noticed the voice.

"Wait, isn't you said You'd be asleep for a month! But why did you awake right now?!"

"Dalor, can we get back to the topic?" Randy looks worried.

"Okay, I'll try!" Randy is holding tightly to the handle of his sword that was shaking. His hair was combed using his hands, his eyes staring coldly at the monster. He fully ready himself to face this monster.

He really thinks he was so cool right now, that what was in his mind right now.

"I don't want to disturb your cool pose, but should we use Jormungandr and the problem will be solved at once?"

"Better not, I have willing myself to fight this monster hand to hand!"

The cowardly youth's coolness disappeared like an iron scrap on the roadside.

His right hand raised up and melted his sword and then replaced it with a spear.

"Dalor, I leave the rest to you!"

Randy pulled the spear back and prepared to pierced it.

"Finally got it," he said as he picked up the floating key. A name of the monster suddenlt written in his memory. "Sarkofagos Asterias, now you are mine!"

"I'll make sure to good use to you," a wide smile was written on his face.

He had never felt a fight as intense as this.

The wind was blowing so hard in that place.

Just in the blink of an eye, the boy who was just fought the monster is gone and nowhere to be found.
