Trouble knows my name

The rain continued to pour heavily as I speedily tried to make it home soon, a storm was coming. Bang! Bang! Bang! On instinct my eyes snapped to the direction. I knew that familiar sound all too well, it was a gunshot no doubt. The rain was all but forgotten as I made my way to the sound of repeated shooting. I stopped right before a massive gate leading to luxurious cars and a pool. The security was not in sight and climbing the gate was no big deal. Once I made it to the entrance of the mansion’s front door I opened it and walked right in. It was a massacre, the men lying on the ground covered in blood didn’t stand a chance. The shooting eventually died down and I was already making my way through the chaos and up to the staircase. That’s when I saw him… … Feya is a young girl that recently moves to the city of New York. She soon after is enrolled in a prestigious academy that is far from what people would call a normal school. Then as it just so happens she has a propensity to get lost and ends up right at troubles door. Of course, being the person she is, she walks right in. Thomas is the type of person you take caution around. What’s even more is that he barely ever talks. Reading him would be nothing in comparison to reading a blank paper, because he would put even it to shame. So what happens when a small girl seemingly happens to find herself in the arms of Thomas.

First day of school

A week has passed since I came to this house and I'm pretty much familiar with everything and everyone.

Arron is a warm and caring businessman that prefers to just be plain and simple which is also evident in his clothing choices, whereas Elizabeth is the opposite.

Elizabeth is more flashy and sometimes oblivious to everything. She complains a lot and often times get in arguments with Arron. Nevertheless she isn't such a bad person when you get to know her. My first impression of her was slightly off mark.

Then there is Mark, he is the one and only butler of this house and does literally everything. Apparently Elizabeth fired the others because they were incompetent. Mark and I get along well. I often help him with cooking even though he refuses to let me sometimes. He is very mature and easy to talk to, despite not being very old.

Finally there is Alex, I was spot on about him being a shady person but luckily I'm doing a good job at avoiding him and he's also rarely home so that's another bonus.

Beep! Beep! Beep!

I groaned as my alarm went off informing me that it was time to get up. I slowly moved out of bed and into the bathroom. When I realized what today was I contemplated going back to bed.

I pouted slightly knowing it was unavailable. Today was the appointed day I was given to attend my new school. I was less than thrilled to start a new school in an unfamiliar environment as a freshman but it couldn't be helped.

I got ready as fast as I could and went down to eat breakfast. The school uniform itself was enough to tell me about the prestige of my school. The skirt was a perfect fit and it complimented my tiny figure so I had no complaints.

I decided to tie my lengthy hair in a ponytail at the top and chose to wear a black sweater over my uniform.

"Ready for your first day?" Arron asked sipping his coffee.

"Yep" I said.

"Remember not to disgrace your family name. You are now apart of the Brown family so act accordingly" Elizabeth said.

"Okay no problem" I gave a nod.

"Mark is there anything you wish to say?" Arron asked noticing Mark was looking worried.

"I'm just a little nervous for the young miss that's all" Mark replied.

"Nervous? Mark you should not concern yourself which such little things. Feya will be just fine" Elizabeth said confidently.

Everyone in the dining room looked at Elizabeth with a mix of surprise and confusion.

"Come on..don't tell me you all forgot that Alex also attends that school ? He will protect Feya which means their is absolutely no need to worry" Elizabeth explained.

Her words put Arron to rest but Mark now looked more petrified than ever.

Hmm…wonder why the fuss? It was only school after all there was nothing exciting or horrifying about it.

"Mark I'm ready can we leave?" I asked as I finished my breakfast.

I was still underage to drive even though I'm a rather good driver thanks to my friend back in my hometown.

Mark was assigned to be my personal driver since Elizabeth, Arron and Alex all had their own cars. Turns out Alex was actually a senior and we are both attending the same school.

Alex was initially responsible for taking me to school but he refused and left early this morning. I enjoyed Mark's company and he was happy to help so therefore I didn't have a problem.

"Yes young miss" Mark replied.

The drive to school was relatively short and the buildings and parking lots as expected were impressive.

"Young miss do you have your timetable, locker code and your lunch money?" Mark asked like a worried parent. This made a small smile appear on my face as I truly appreciated him.

"Yes, everything is fine" I said.

"Good." He breath a sigh of relief, "Also I packed a lunch in your school bag because you said you enjoyed my cooking and I also packed a small bag of gummy bears because you liked them very much."

"Thank you " I said with a big smile.

"Okay go now" he said opening the car door. I got out of the car but before he could drive off I ran to his side and hugged him.

I ran off to the direction of the school building before he could react.

I entered the building and followed the arrows on the small map of the school that came with my timetable. After entering what seemed to be the hallway of majority of the student lockers I was then swallowed up by a sea of students all pushing and shoving to get to their destination.

I ended up being overwhelmed so I calmly took a breath and just stopped forcing my way through. Instead I let myself be carried away.

Wait..what!? How did I end up here?

"Where am I ?" I spoke to no one in particular.

"We're on the seniors floor" someone beside me said. It was a boy a little taller than me with headphones resting around his neck.

"Seniors floor…" I said looking at the map.

"Yeah. It's not on the map the office didn't give any freshmen a map of up here. You must've gotten swept up by the crowd" he said.

Speaking of the crowd…it was a fight and an unevenly matched one at that.

"What a pitiful sight" the boy next to me muttered and I had to agree.

It was four against one but that wasn't what was unpleasant. It was that the boy wasn't even trying to fight back. In fact he was repeatedly muttering sorry and he didn't try blocking their hits. This submissive behavior just encouraged the four boys to get even more violent and their ego got even bigger.

"Hey boss, do you think we should let the little mouse go?" One of the boys said mockingly.

I turned to looked for this so called boss in the direction the boy was looking at.

"Over there, he is the one clinging to the blondie with the big boobs" the boy beside me said noticing my wondering eyes.

What I saw was more or less of a shock to me…
