At the moment when she took out her phone to see who was calling her, she noticed that it was her nanny who was calling her. At once, she quickly answered the call. From her Nanny's voice she could tell that there was trouble.
" Hey, hello. where are you now? you need to come back home right now. your father is here and is very angry that you are not at home. He is very mad that you left the house with out telling any one about where you were going to and worse still the fact that you did not leave the house with your body guards as always instructed by him. " my nanny said with a very low tone. I could barely listen to what she was sayi you at that point in time but all I could say for certain was that, she was hiding some where around the house to make a phone call with me at that moment just to inform me about what was happening in the house presently.
" But nanny, I have not even been out of the house for long. And why is father coming back from work at that time? It's unlike him. " Melanie asked wondering why her father will come home that early. It was unlike him and places were not yet really that dark.
Any way, Melanie had always known her mom and dad to be the very busy type. She had always known them not to always be at home. They both leave the house as very early as possible with out Melanie even knowing and also come back home very late at night when she's sleeping.
Her parents do not even have time to be with her. All they have always had time for has always been work, work and always work. They even forget that they have a baby girl who was now a grown up and she's now 20 years old. Worse still they always forget about her birthday which is the most special day in her life.
To Melanie, there is nothing bad that has ever happened to her that is as bad as the kind of parents that she has. Even in her presence they can't still recognize and acknowledge that she is there with them living in the same house and under the same roof with them. All they get to see and think about is work and money.
To Melanie, she felt like her parents are married to work and money as well as work and money are their only true and genuine children as it means a lot more to them than she do to them.
" Where ever you are right now, you need to make sure that you hurry up and come back home so that your father will no more be worried. As I speak to you right now he is very angry both with the body guards and you. He is so disappointed with the fact that you could not act like a big girl and follow instructions as given to you by always leaving the house with your body guards. " her nanny said with so much fear as she hopes that Melanie will return back home safely to her and her parents with all the bad things that were now happening outside.
" Alright nanny will start coming back home right away. " Melanie said with remorse. Right deep down in Melanie's heart, she did not want to go back to her house. She was always very bored there and could barely express her feelings and thoughts out just like the way she just did that day.
Melanie had never felt this relief in all her life here on earth. She had never felt such a fatherly love like the way the gardener just did to her. It was not an easy thing to believe that some one could do that because she had experienced a little bit what it felt like to be loved by a mother from her nanng byt has never felt what it looked like to be loved by a father.
But how ever, she had a little bit of experience from the way the gardener treated her today. Melanie while still sitting down with the gardener was very pleased with every thing that was happening and did not want to leave his house. She wishes her dad could be this friendly with her all the time.
Any way, with out with standing, there was need for her to go back home for her nanny and not only for her nanny but also for ger Father and her mother. That was what was very important.
Melanie's father had already gone as far as sending some of his body guards to go in search of his daughter Melanie. At least for that, her dad does not joke when it concerne the fact that she is not in the house and worse still if I went out alone.
Any way, Melanie and her nanny finally finished talking on phone as they concluded saying that Melanie has to do fast and make sure that she arrived home as fast as possible. because her dad is already getting so worried about her leaving the house with no body guard worse still she didn't even tell anyone where she was going to.
Immediately as Melanie dropped her phone down on the table, the gardener saw how tensed and worried she was after answering the phone call. Melanie was even more tensed than before.
The gardener now seeing this and noticing that Melanie's attitude had completely changed at it has turned back to the way it was as before, decided to ask her what actually the problem was. Melanie didn't want to tell him any thing more so she just told him that she has to go. Melanie got up with a hurry trying to open up the door but it wasn't opening.
Instantly, Tristan walked up to her and opened up the door for her to pass freely. Immediately as Tristan walked directly behind her and opened the door. Melanie at that moment was not expecting to see him not to talk of him opening the door for her.
She was so shocked as she could not believe what was happening at that moment. As she immediately raised up her head and looked at Tristan right into his eyes. She was almost falling for him as she immediately remembered what Tristan had done to get earlier that even and she withdrew herself quickly.
She had not yet g
forgotten that she was still very mad at Tristan and did not even want to see him due to the very nasty and disgusting attitude that was been portrayed by Tristan to get when she was sitting sipping tea with his father.
Just from that moment, Melanie had already started hating him. She did not even want to have any thing to do with him. Simply because she had already seen and had already experienced too how disgusting Tristan's behavior is.
Any way, that was not what concerned her. She had to go though. She had parents that were waiting for her back home as well as love ones. So there was all the need for her to go back home.
As she finally stopped looking at Tristan and walked passed the door. Placed were almost getting dark completely. Any way. Tristan was already falling madly in love with Melanie. But his pride won't let him be. He fell in love with Melanie at first side but he still decided to act in a bossy way as usual.
This was evident as she looked and continued observing Melanie as she was going. He had already fell in love with Melanie. There was no doubt about that. He enjoyed the manner in which she just looked at him while he was opening the door for her to pass.
At least, they could get to look at each other's eyes. Right deep in the eyes, there was no doubt that they had feelings for each other. Melanie has never had a boyfriend before so it's like really really strange to her as the feeling she has for Tristan is unusual.
Any way, she had already made up her mind that she must get over it cause she can not be in love with some one who is as rude as Tristan is. With no manners. To Melanie, There is a complete and clear difference between Tristan and his father. His father is a very kind hearted man, cold, humble, hospitable, Caring, loving and even more. Melanie could feel and see all these things just from her little stay with his father.
His father is some one that every child will ever wish to have cause he treats children so well. Melanie wish that her dad could even be like that with her. So friendly, not to talk about work, just create a little bit of time for just both of them. Just to make her happy, same with her mom.
She wished that this could happen even the ones so that she could even be very happy with them but nothing like that had ever happen. None of her wishes will ever be granted. Any way, she do not mind if her parents are behaving like that towards her or even if they continue behaving like that towards her because she is already very use to this their behaviors.
It's a normal thing, she has always been experiencing that for a very long time. That is since child birth. She can even barely say that she has ever spent more than 10 minutes of her time with her biological mother. Her mother has always been very busy as she wants to be one of the top. Forgetting about my existence on this earth.
Most often, Melanie regrets why she was ever born in such a world that is full of hatred and so many evils to her. She feels more like her real parents do not love her just like the way real parents are supposed to love their children.
At school, she always hears her some of her classmates who talk about their parents and even appreciate them saying how they are very kind to them and make sure they are always there for them. Melanie hearing this becomes very upset as she gets psychologically traumatized with every thing thing that was going on and can not still believe that her friend's parents really treat them the way they say.
Melanie has always been crying cause of this same issue since when she was still very little. Any way, she had no choice than to do with it. They were still her parents and not only her parents but her biological parents. She had no choice than to accept them for who they are. But with out with standing, she was already very tired of her parents for real.
It was so wierd for her to say it most often but she had no choice than to do that. She had to air her mind. people took her be crazy or to be insane but she didn't care about what they think. She had no choice than to be her self and to keep on saying the truth.
What even baffled her was the fact that she was been introduced to one of her classmates that her parents are politicians too. Her name was Stephanie. Stephanie is an adopted child to two politicians. Meaning her mom is a politician and her dad too is a politician. They both did not have any child after being married for 6 years. They both now made up their minds and decided to take it upon themselves to adopt a child for themselves.
They also wanted to feel the joy of having a child at home. As well as they wanted to Know how it feels to have a child and how it feels for a child to call you Daddy or mummy. After being childless for over some time now, they had no option than to seek for an adopted child.
That was when they both found Stephanie. Steph's was very very friendly to Melanie to an extent that they both started treating each other like sister's. They both loved each other to a fault.
How ever, Melanie always felt loved when she was around Stephanie. Any way, when ever Stephanie explained to her how her adopted parents treated her, Melanie was so baffled and surprised at every thing she will say concerning her adopted parents.
Melanie refused to believe that Stephanie's parents were treating her that fine. She was even more worried that her own parents that are her real and biological parents can not treat even a quarter of the way Stephanie's adopted parents treats her. Considering again the fact that she is not their real and biological child.
Unlike Melanie's parents, Stephanie's parents have always created maximum time to be with her. They have always spent time with her, take her out more often, make her laugh as well as even have breakfast and dinner with her even if she doesn't really have launch with her adopted parents most often because they are always at work.
But at least, they get to create Maximum time for Stephanie irrespective of how busy they are. And they both love Stephanie like their own real biological daughter irrespective of the fact that Stephanie is not their real child. They have Always tried their best so far to make her happy.
Stephanie's parents have always wanted her to be very happy as they did not want her to feel their absence even a little bit. Stephanie's parents adopted parents even with the high and very responsible and honorable positions that they both had in the society, it has never stopped them from loving and having time for her for any reason.
Any way, for Stephanie's parents it was not a big problem to create Maximum time for Stephanie and make her happy as well but on Melanie's side, it was a very big problem for her parents to provide and create just a little bit of time just to spend time with her and make her happy even a little bit.
Worse still even to ask about how she feel or even check on her every morning they don't. When ever they even try to create a little bit of time and at least I try and feel happy even for five minutes, her parents still come up with other things and always leave telling her they are Sorry.
They always succeed in making her unhappy and often leave her in disappointment. It is not often a good thing but she is already very use to it. Any way, she just had to continue living and doing with it as she has always done since from the unset.
She just had to hold her heart and continue being with her nanny cause at least she has been the only one who has proven to really care about her since when she was still very little and did not know any thing. As she still finds it very difficult to believe that her parents or the people that she is presently living with under the same roof are really her parents.
Melanie can't still believe that.
The main reason why Melanie continues to refuse to accept and acknowledge the fact that the people she's leaving with are her real and biological parents as they can't even do any thing to make her happy even for a second. She needs space to think almost all the time in her house.
It has already been her hubby to be thinking up and down. Most often, either she stands, or sits down on any spot of the house and start thinking about what is happening around her and what her parents are doing to her.
She thinks almost all the time. One could even say she is mad already. The only person who understands her is her nanny as well as she is the oy person that she can even tell her worry to and she's been consoled by her.
Any way, most often she sits or stands up being so lost in her thoughts, her baby is the one who comes and shakes her off her thoughts and brings her back to earth to her normal senses.
It is a very good thing that she even has her nanny cause if her nanny wasn't there, she doesn't know what she could have ever become. She thanks God for ever having her nanny. She is very grateful for at least having some one like her in her life. It is not really an easy thing for her her and it has never been easy at all for her to live like that in her own house like a prisoner.
No body to talk to, no one to keep her company and no one to even console her when she is worried. She can not even go any where because she is been looked up in the house and monitored every where she goes to. All her moves are been monitored.
Every single part and corner of the house was been surrounded up with guards. Guards were found every where in the house. There was no way for her to ever be free in her life. Any way, she was already use to such a life.
Some times, Melanie feels like life could have never been so boring if she had a younger sister or younger brother. They could have been talking to each other and passing time with each other.
To her, every thing could have been way more easier for her than now. She would have at least had some one to talk to or even play with at all times .
