(KILLIAN's Pov)

Why do I feel guilty?

They ran to the three girls who had collapsed on the floor.

"They've lost consciousness!" Klein shouted.

"Pick them up! Lay them on the sofa!" Pat instructed.

They picked up the three and laid them on the sofa.

"Dude, you went too far," Jake said to us.

"You shouldn't have said those things," Luiz added.

"What's done is done! What else can you do about it?" I snapped at them.

We looked over at the three girls as they started to move.

"Mom!"

They shouted, so we ran to them.

"Mom! Dad!" they kept shouting.

(KLEIN's PoV)

Shit! They're having nightmares.

I shook Crimson.

"Wake up!" I said.

I was surprised when she grabbed my collar.

"Mom isn't like that! She's not like that!" she said, almost in tears.

"Yeah, she's not like that. There's a reason why they left you," I said.

"No, no, she's not like that, not at all," she said weakly.

She was still sticky from the eggs.

"Ahhh!"

We turned to see Akiro get thrown off.

We helped him up.

"What happened to you?" I asked.

"Sharlene pushed me. My back hurts!" he said.

We helped him up.

Our eyes widened as we saw X and the others sitting on the sofa with their eyes closed, as if they were dreaming.

So we approached them and shook them gently.

They opened their eyes.

"What happened?" X asked.

"You fainted after your fight with Lucian," I said.

"Could you please not remind us?" Crimson said.

We nodded, and they sighed in relief.

We were about to help them stand, but they declined.

"You guys should change your clothes; you're all sticky," Nezon said.

"Yeah, why didn't you fight back? Now you're covered in eggs," Dyzer added.

They turned away from us, and X snapped her fingers.

Their clothes changed instantly! Wow!

But their hair was still sticky.

"The restroom is over there," I said.

They headed to the restroom.

"Did we go too far?"

We looked at Lucian.

"Way too far! If you said that about my mom, you'd be in pieces," I said angrily.

They sighed.

I glanced at the clock.

It was already evening. Where would they stay?

"Damian, it's late. Let them sleep here tonight. You can go to Border II tomorrow," Bexzin said.

They nodded.

The girls came out of the restroom.

Damn! Wet look! Shit! They look hot!

"Y-you can sleep h-here tonight," I stammered.

They just nodded.

It was awkward. Suddenly, it was very quiet.

"Uhmm, by the way, this is Lucian, Damian, Zian, Killian, and Alan, the children of the Supreme," Akiro introduced them.

The girls just nodded.

"And these are Xiandrellyn Blue, Crimson Red, and Sharlene Shine Yellow Myeraldeser, they're triplets," Milo added.

"I'll just prepare our food," Luiz said.

We all nodded.

It was so quiet!

"How old are you?" I asked them.

They sat on the sofa.

Xian was reading, Sharlene had headphones on, and Crimson's eyes were closed.

"Seventeen," Xian said, still looking at her book.

"Fake birthday, we just assumed it," Crimson said with her eyes closed.

"Uhmm, who's the eldest?" Jake asked.

"Xian. I'm second. Sharlene is the youngest," Crimson said shortly.

"Where did you come from again?" Nezon asked.

"We lived in the mortal world for 17 years and came to the immortal world four months ago, then ended up here," Xian answered.

So they came from the mortal world where there's no magic, and people die easily. How was their life there?

"How was it in the mortal world?" Pat asked.

"Miserable," Sharlene replied.

"Lonely, always avoiding us," Crimson added.

"Treating us like monsters, full of hatred," Xian said.

"Uhmm, did you have any friends there?" Pat asked.

"We had some," Crimson said.

Phew! I thought they had none---

"Animals, ghosts," Sharlene added.

"I mean, human friends. Did you have any human friends?" Pat asked.

"It's obvious, isn't it? Of course, we didn't... because to them, we were monsters," Xian said.

"They kept saying we deserve to die, that we don't deserve to live... but unfortunately, we're immortal. We don't die," Crimson said.

People in the mortal world are cruel.

"They were like that?!" Dyzer exclaimed.

"Not all of them... some are kind, but we haven't met any," Sharlene said.

"Ahh, how about in the immortal world? Friends?" Tiser asked.

They just shook their heads.

Even there?

"We don't consider them friends... because they are scared of us, but some of them do talk to us," Xian said.

"We... we can be your friends," I suggested.

They looked at me, as if trying to see if I was serious.

So I smiled at them.

"Nah~ we don't need friends... especially not fake friends. We sisters are enough," Sharlene said.

"Wait! Why don't you trust us?" Milo asked.

"It's hard to earn our trust. We don't trust anyone that easily," Xian said.

We sighed.

Except for Lucian, who was just listening.

"Why don't you try?" Jake asked.

"Try what?" Crimson asked.

"Try to trust us, be friends with us, bond with us," I said.

They looked at us and shook their heads.

"Nope, talking to each other is enough," Sharlene said.

"But you'd be happier with friends. It's fun to have friends," Bexzin said.

"Happiness isn't in our vocabulary. Happy, trust, love... none of that," Xian said.

We gasped at what they said.

"If that's the case, no lovers too?" Adero asked.

"Tsk. None. Ask Crimson," Sharlene said.

We looked at Crimson.

"Tsk. They only want the body. I had a lot of boyfriends in the mortal world, and I know... they only wanted my body, and I'm not stupid to give it to them," Crimson said.

"Are you going to sleep now, Klein?" Sharlene asked.

"Because the Supreme didn't finish telling the story, can you continue it?" Crimson asked.

I sat on the sofa facing them.

"I'm not good at it... but you can ask me questions," I said.

They had already gone upstairs.

Our rooms are on the second floor. We were the only ones left here.

"The Supreme mentioned something about rankers," Sharlene said.

"Oh that, there are different kinds of rankers. The lowest is white, then brown, black. The stronger ones are green, blue, and red," I explained.

"What about high rankers?" Xian asked.

"They are the highest rankers and they receive missions, as do red and blue rankers," I said.

"You?" Crimson asked.

"We are all red rankers, and we just finished a mission yesterday," I nodded.

"How did you become red rankers?" Xian asked.

"There's a competition, or leveling as it's called, held at the academy at the end of each month," I explained.

"Ahh," they said.

"Tomorrow you'll go to Border II, and you'll talk to their Supreme there," I said.

"How many borders are there?" Crimson asked.

"Just two borders. Once you pass through them, you'll enter the Firicair Light Kingdom. The king and his sons deserve respect, or you'll be punished and exiled to some island," I said.

"What's the relationship between King Dezeus, the king of the immortal world, and the king here?" Xian asked.

"The king here and the king of the immortal world are brothers. King Perseus and his sons, Prince Poltair, Prince Ander, Prince Xander, Prince Demizeus, Prince Godden (Gaden), Prince Cade, and Prince Kiel," I explained.

"Are there other kingdoms here? How many academies?" Crimson asked.

"There's this kingdom and the Dark Kingdom. There's only one academy, the Light Academy. Everyone gathers there, but they have their own lands, and some stay together," I explained.

"What are the common powers, users, abilities here?" Xian asked.

"Fire, water, air, witch spells, casters, speed, super strength, mind readers, illusion casters, and others," I said.

"What about the rare, extraordinary ones?" Sharlene asked.

"Few have the ability to teleport, telekinesis, cloud control, weather control, ice, nature, earth, invisibility, summoning. I don't remember the others... Oh! There's the most powerful, Overa de-all, gift of creation, lightning, and lightning speed. And of course, the Uncommon Eyes," I said.

"Uncommon Eyes?" they asked.

"We haven't met anyone with Uncommon Eyes. They're eyes that can turn someone with evil intentions, hatred, or anger in their heart into ashes just by looking into their eyes," I explained, and they seemed shocked.

"What about the gift of creation?" Sharlene asked.

"It's the ability to bring the dead back to life, whether human or animal. Dark users are also looking for this, but it's probably impossible. The one with that power might not even be born yet," I said.

They looked at X, who still had her eyes closed, and then turned back to me.

"What are your powers?" Crimson asked.

"Lucian and the Supreme are Summoners, I'm an Illusion Caster. The others are casters, and some are half-eagles," I said.

"Wait! What about shadow manipulators, sound, shapeshifters, werewolves, demons, angels, elves, fairies, vampires, wizards, healers, and magnetica... plant manipulators?" Xian asked.

"Those are common... but shadow manipulators, shapeshifters, healers, magnetica, sound manipulators, and a few others are rare. There are also high-level mind readers, known as mind manipulators, who can enter the mind, discover the greatest fears, mess with the brain, and do much more. I can't remember them all, but Luna among the high rankers is a Spirit Caller, Harne is a Portaller, Zein is a Sleeping Caster, Ann is a Monster Summoner, and Cass is a Nature User," I explained.

"What about the king and his children?" Xian asked.

"King Perseus can manipulate ice, earth, and time... he can go back in time or travel to the future. The princes have various powers: weather control, ice, earth, time stop, cloud control, and blood manipulation. Prince Cade, Xander, and Kiel are vampires, while Prince Ander and Poltair are werewolves. I'm not sure about the rest," I explained.

"It seems like having many powers is normal here," Crimson said.

"Actually, the maximum is three. In the immortal world, it's usually just one. King Dezeus has three," I said.

They nodded.

"Prince Demizeus is the son of the Goddess of Demons, so he's a half-god demon. If you have no more questions, you should sleep now. You have an early day tomorrow," I said.

They nodded.

I went upstairs and went to bed.
