"I will miss you", I whispered softly as I hugged my mom with all my might. I felt her kiss my forehead and then whispered, "I will miss you more".

I pulled back from her hug with a sad smile and then went to hug my dad. He squeezed me into his arms tightly. I returned his hug with my own.

"I will miss you, princess", my dad's gruff yet soft voice sounded into my ears and I smiled a little.

"Me too", I whispered back and nuzzled into his chest. He kissed my forehead lovingly then released me from his tight hug.

Dad went behind the trees to remove his clothes and shift. I turned my attention towards my mom in her wolf form. Her silky light brown fur is shining in the sunlight, giving it an illusion of golden.
