Chapter 15

"What were you doing all day yesterday?", I munched on an apple as I asked the triplets.

"Training", Callum responded but he is distracted by the file in his hand. I need more than a one word answer so I looked at someone who is not so occupied with something important... And that person is Flynn.

He is playing on his phone. I stared at him intently. Feeling my gaze on him, he looked up from his phone. I didn't say anything, just continue to stare at him.

He sighed when I didn't avert my eyes and put his phone aside. I perked up on my seat as I waited to get my answers.

"Neighbouring pack attacked on one of the pack members. They took him by surprise but he was able to retaliate".

"Is he hurt?", I asked, referring to the pack member.

"A little". My brows creased.

"What happened to other pack members who attacked?", he tensed a little before relaxing.

"Dead", his answer was simple but with a warning. He doesn't want to continue this topic so I let it go.
