"CS, you're ready?"

-Yes, send it!- Eagerly responded to him at the works they were about to do.

Alex removed the car's body, barely brushing the car's surface, momently closing his eyes as the structure imprint in his mind before CS take over and start analysing it. The simple structure was rapidly analysed while Alex put the transformed shell on the side. After the simple phase, Alex focused on slowly dismantling the car.

Both might have no deep knowledge of the complex mechanic a car was, but with Alex ability and CS help, they need a real-life model to deconstruct for them to absorb the information and work through it. With CS computing ability, it was child play to run simulations and build on the numerous failures until he grasps all the most delicate details.

With their first car successfully reduced to fundamental components, Alex worked on the second. Each deconstructed car filled a little more the ever-growing databank of CS. After going through dozen sports cars, both had a good grasp of this type of vehicle's main point and the crisscrossing data allowed to eliminate several recurring weaknesses in the different models.

Done with their enterprise's power side of the project, Alex turned to the more common type with varying degree of structures.

Unlike the sports cars, Alex and CS had nearly fifty types of those cars available and thus an even larger amount of data.

Finally, they turned to the last vehicle, the humvee they took from Shizuka place. Rather than data on motor prowess or structure, it was the different option available to help them.

Alex looked around the workshop after exiting his trance. All around, littered metal, oil, paint, varnishes of the deconstructed cars.

"We made quite a mess, did we?"

-It sure is, but nothing that wouldn't rapidly take care.-

"That it does." Nodded Alex snapping his fingers. The different component starts to levitate before arranging themselves with similar products on a corner. "Much better." Smiled Alex before summoning back several types of material from the pile and his shelves.

Closing his eyes, Alex took a second to focus before signalling to CS. 'Send the blueprints.'

-Here you are.- Not a second later, page after pages of diagrams project in his head, telling what to do, the order and how to assemble the whole car.

The tires were replaced by a polymer of rubber, magic steel and mithril. Rather than a wheel, the new tire was a polymer ball wrapped around a solid magic steel-mithril alloy core, engraved with runes. The braking systems were linked to the core, influencing the polymer surface layer from the given order.

Any suspensions system were made obsolete, as the core would automatically compensate since the tire was linked magnetically to the socket.

While CS was slowly making his way through the motor and its linked system, Alex worked on the interior and external frame. As he knows the danger of this new world, the car's body was made of a mithril shell with a streamlined body.

The interior was made spacious and expanded. Circuits of alloys run the interior's length as Alex added all the systems he could think of along the needed one to control the car.

The problem of powering the source was taken care of with a small reactor. In the following hours, both would debate the motor and slowly build a model compatible with the generator. Due to the extensive amount of runes and components needed to make it, the engine turned to be only a third of mechanical ones and put at the back of the car, leaving the front as a trunk.

Looking at the streamlined car in front of him, Alex couldn't help but think. 'It Spooner's car from I robot, just in light green.' Alex smiled wryly.

While the statement was accurate, there was still some slight difference. One of the most glaring ones was the absence of windshield or lateral windows. Alex and CS had been unwilling to put such a glaring weakness in the frame when the problem could be solved with already existing enchantments, similar to the roof of Hogwarts Great Hall.

The lighting system was incrusted enchanted crystals, and an internal system would recycle the air present inside. Thank the unbuild transfigurating system, not a single line of the doors would exist, limiting the weakness. The handles, only visible proof of the doors existences, were enchanted to recognise the magical signature, momently disabling the transfiguration and allow the Keyed person to open and enter the car.

As the motor was utterly magical, there was no need for an exhaust system allowing eh shell to wrap around the car structure completely. The only weakness Alex wasn't able to completely take care of for now was the tires. While integrated into the frame shell", the tires were still connected to the ground and the enchantment between the cover and tires.

As long as he didn't solve the flying equation, it would remain a weakness; then, thankfully, few should utilise it against them.

'Well, since the film didn't exist here, there should be a copyright infringement, right?'

-Even if there was, it not like they would sue you, even if they're still alive.- Deadpan CS as Alex exited the house and took out the car from his hammerspace.

Entering it, he expertly navigates through the system, and when all was clear, the car started. Having heard him exit his workshop, the girls had followed him outside and looked at great interest at their new transport system. Their only indication that Alex started the car was the faintly glowing set of crystal at the front. The car was completely silent, a much-needed feature in an apocalyptic world where the monster reacts to sound.

Alex resisted the impulse of driving it, knowing there wasn't the necessary road to do so here, and cut the feed.

"What do you think?" Grinned Alex at the three stunned girls looking at him and the car. Snapping out of it first, Saya didn't disappoint and asked.

"How many people could enter inside?"

"Lot at it for yourself." Responded Alex as he opens the door behind the conductor seat.

Looking at the inside, Saya shook her head. "Should have seen it is coming." Smiled her, visibly proud of her mate work. The car's inside wasn't much different from a limo and could allow up to ten spacious places. Like any self-respecting car of this type, Alex accommodates drinks, food and clothes changes to be stored in an expanded compartment under each seat.

After the girls toured and explore the interior, Alex stomach finally knows that he was empty. "How much time had passed?"

-We needed a day and a half to create it from start to now. It's been two days since the magically induced sleep took you.- Informed CS, having kept an eye on the time while they worked.

"You stayed nearly two days in your workshop." Information Saya at the same time, before Shizuka, drag him inside the house to feed him.

Once fed, the four passed the rest of the ending days to relax and share their different advancement. All girls had successfully raised their stats by a rank and were slowly working out their system's excess magic through the fitness room. The incentive of keeping a good figure to show to Alex was also an excellent motivator for the girls, but only Rei practice her spear arts heavily.

Unsurprisingly, Saya had taken over the security room and familiarised herself with the system. She also started to dress the second list of potential target and their interest. Shizuka had continued to dwell in the medical books and created a list on her own, only geared to their medical needs and improvement they could add.

As expected, Rei was the only true fighter of their group, with Saya and Shizuka more of a support role, but it was alright with Alex. He knows that he would need people of such talent on his side, and what better than have his mates at those. At least, he wouldn't have to fear to backstab and know they would have the island best interest at heart.

Unwilling to do more for the day, the group of four rapidly retreat to the bedroom for a much-earned rest and cuddle time after being deprived of it for two days.

"Alright, now that our more pressing issue is taken care of, it's time for us to take our hunting trip. I think the best place for this would be the school. It the tenth day since the apocalypse happens and nine since the undead start to evolve. I took a look at the gathered Mana Crystal, and G rank one appears, it thus logic than starting today, F rank undead should appear." Announced Alex gravely, looking at each girl. "Due to this, the school should be the best hunting ground. The amount of undead is fixed and most trapped. This will allow me to regulate the amount free and with some luck their rank too."

Looking at them, Alex easily made their unease and his face and tone soften. "I know it difficult, but you need to learn how to fight, and most importantly, how to face others. Once they exit their magical sleep, not all humans will be as nice as they were when shackled with society's restriction on them.

This will also permit Saya and Shizuka to start to learn how to use their magic. Rei, I will craft you a spear able to strike down the undead, for now, your our only vanguard at my side." Explain Alex, making the girls perk at the mention of magic and a new weapon.

"Alright." Softly said Rei, happy of her role and that her mate will specifically craft a weapon.

Smiling at her, Alex turned to Saya. "I will need to make you a similar raiment that Shizuka and Rei, just in case one slip near us and try to turn you."

He didn't let her enough time to process and dragged her to him, nearly rip her clothes out of her, and drag his hands on her body, rapidly crafting the reinforced clothes Rei and Shizuka were already wearing.

Saya was left as a blushing mess and shivering at the phantom feeling of Alex touch on her skin.

Alex left them ready themselves while he rapidly passed through the workshop and crafted a spear for Rei, using magic steel as spearhead and runes-reinforced wooden as shaft. While Rei hadn't much magical might, she had more than enough to feed the spear enchantments. For now, he kept them at a minimum, but in time, he would equip her with a mighty spear and see what he could teach her from his brand of magic.

Saya and Shizuka would also be run through the paces, their high magical stats told him enough about their potential, and he would not squander them. Even if Shizuka focus only on healing spell and Saya on transfiguration, they would be invaluable on the battlefield.

As long as he can't make his hand on potions, Shizuka could be the only thing between life and death, and he didn't like to not have a well-versed healer at his side. Using the opportunity, Alex took the time to upgrade all his weapons with magic steel ones.

His arsenal was now composed of a hundred throwing spears, three hundred throwing knives, nine hundreds of arrows, his six long daggers, two short swords talon and his bow. He didn't take his magic guns, thinking that they could be of a better use for Kohta, as long as he had a silver of magic in him to fire them, if now, he would need to tinker them a little.

His own clothing was based on the ANBU of Naruto, and while it let his shoulders bare, the actual undead wasn't a threat for him yet.
