190 The Secret Plan

Waking up to a four-cornered space, Ji-yun and Jin-Ae were surprised to find themselves at rest on a bed. It was a room built with metallic walls and no windows, merely an air vent gave them an alternative to breathing. 

"Mother, where - where are we? What time is it?" Ji-yun asked in a hoarse voice. She had practically cried herself as they exited the Yeongs' mansion and nearly lost her sound.

Last night, they were put to sleep in the middle of nowhere and had no recollection of the rest of their journey. 

"We - we are probably in Anton's base. I - I have never been here. Neither has your father," said Jin-Ae. 

Both their faces appeared to have tear marks that dried on them, their eyes were swollen and their hair was a complete mess. The mother and daughter embraced each other, giving comfort for whatever future they may have. 

"If we get out here, my daughter. We will leave your father," suggested Jin-Ae.
