Stop me if you hear this. Someone dies in some traumatic event, and they get reincarnated with superpowers. Not like I care but what am I supposed to do with my superpowers when I'm superlazy.
Disclaimer: I don't own any anime, movies, music, or series other than the OC.

Today was not my lucky day. Why? Because my alarm didn't go off, a bird crapped on my drink, there was finally traffic, and when I arrived at work, I realized it was my day off!
Is it possible for this day to get any worse?
It appears that it can, because the next thing I knew, I was in a hospital because there was a bomb on the bus I was about to take. It exploded right in front of my face, sending me skidding on the ground.
Now I'm standing in front of a guy who is either high or has a natural appearance. The man then took up a file and hummed while flipping through the pages. I got a good look at what he was reading.
Erma, Rem
That... Is that my name, and am I being judged? That was after the apocalypse, I thought. I remained silent, waiting for the man to speak to me.
"So, Rem Erma, tell me which one you're going to pick?"
"Pardon?"
"Your file states that your past actions are insufficient to send you to the afterlife, so you will have to reincarnate."
"Or?"
"Normally, it would be frowned upon, but since you were patient enough to let me finish reading your file, I'll let you reincarnate as a gamer."
So, in either case, I'm reincarnated; the only difference is whether or not I lose my memories. I've read enough manga to know how difficult it will be for a gamer.
I ruffled my hair slightly before inspecting my palms. It was my way of dealing with stress. My hands had written countless fanfictions, and now I'm finally living it.
This was my chance to live my fantasies, to realize my childhood dreams, or to reincarnate at random and wait for the opportunity to enter heaven. I'm going with option one.
"I want to be a gamer, but I don't want any of that nonsense about reincarnation back into childhood; I've already gone through puberty," I stated sternly.
"Fair enough, but normally I would send you to a random reality with an OP system, but our new regulations have a strict code, so we will have to build the system from scratch."
Oh, gawd. Wait, I remember playing an RPG with a simple system. It's not ideal, but it will save me a lot of time relearning everything. I'll have to keep the <Observe> and <Gamer Mind> active or risk my mental state becoming too unstable.
"Can we use this?" The man raised an eyebrow at my suggestion but complied before giving me a preview of the system. Let's check it just to be safe.
Skill tree? check. Simplified stat sheet? Check. Uncomplicated leveling system? Check. Weapon and shop systems? Check. Inventory? Check. Mission without the threat of soul oblivion? CHECK!
Everything was in order even <Observe> and <Gamer Mind> were there.
"Well now for the skills, what should you pick?"
"Uh can I have a book or some sort? It's kinda hard to pick."
With a simple snap of his finger and I found myself pinned by a large book. With great effort, I was able to lift and open it.
"You can choose up to five skills with each grade dropping."
So, in general, I have one S, one A, one B, one C, and one D skill level. I'll begin with brute force. *Curse: Cosmokinesis*> Although one of the most difficult to master, it will come in handy when I start dealing with deities and demons. Next, *Sage*>, this will help me learn martial arts techniques faster and heal faster. I don't intend to learn one; instead, I want to create one that is unique to me. Now, *Eyes of the Rat/EOTR*> this should help me in the future. *Alchemy Manipulation*>What can I say, I'm greedy; turning rocks into gold was a pipe dream. Finally, the final skill... Wait, that skill is completely broken; how come it's on the bottom tier? Screw it, I'll take that one.
After double-checking everything, I turned to the man and asked, "Are you ready?" I nodded, and the next thing I knew, I was back, but with some minor changes to my appearance.
Looking in the mirror, I whistled, knowing that, while I am not an adonis, my distinct features will attract attention. My tanned skin was similar to my previous self, but on a darker scale, as were my eerie yellow eyes, which resembled a snake, and finally, my grey hair with quaffed hairstyle, with the sides shaved.
Should I keep my previous surname? Rem Erma passed away, but... I didn't want to let it go until I thought of my parents. They had chosen two names but couldn't decide between them, so a coin toss was used.
Alizander is a cool enough name; for my last name, I'll be lazy and add Cygnus. Alizander Cygnus appeals to me. Now it was time for a little practice run, and seeing a moving vehicle, my eyes glowed as I used my *Observe*> command.
Strangely, I feel like I'm in a cyberpunk world, but I'm not. I obtained all of the necessary details and information. I tried again on a passing person and got the data I needed. What if I went even further? I was impressed as information flooded my brain as I used my skill once more.
When I felt something drop down my nose, I touched it and discovered blood. So *Observe*> has some unintended consequences when used beyond its intended purpose. For the time being, I'll try something different.

So I guess I'd better start looking; luckily, I still have enough money in my wallet to stay in a motel for three days until I find a part-time job. I checked out of the motel and went in search of a gym. I still can't believe my system is using bitcoin.
My avatar in the game can level up by performing specific exercises, so I wanted to put that theory to the test. My perspective changed when I discovered a gym; now I can see the reps and sets required for each piece of equipment and exercise. Depending on the exercise, I can train either my body or my mind.
So I began my required reps, which was the most agonizing part because it was a mental challenge for me. After each set, my *body*> and *mind*> gradually advanced to the next level.
Until I saw how many more reps I needed to do. How does it go from 10 sets and reps to a whopping 100!? I guess he put this in to make sure I don't suddenly become OP. The only way around this is to gain more experience through missions or side quests.
Still, screw it; I'm not going to take on any missions before I'm prepared. So for the next ten years, I worked on honing my body and mind into a single, unbreakable entity. Now, why would I subject myself to this when there is a simple solution? What would you choose if you had to choose between going completely berserk and running the risk of getting injured when you could have avoided it and taking it slow and steady?
Don't lie unless you are suicidal or a fool; the majority of you are choosing the former option.
In addition to the fact that my life is a game right now, that is what I'm doing. So why the hurry?
Ten years of only bodybuilding and combat training (Self-taught). After years of honing my abilities, I finally told myself that I was prepared for the next big moment in my life.

I'd been saving a lot of GLC for this moment, and I took my first step into the multiverse by opening a portal to a world of my choosing.
My first world, the place where everything began... the ultimate challenge...

Just messing with you, it's Naruto.
An: Now before anyone gets angry about why the mc chose the same two things, with one being the better version. To put it simply Curse: Cosmokinesis is overpowered but uses a lot of stamina. Its only advantage is that the user has an innate knowledge of how the universe work.
This makes Alchemy manipulation a perfect substitute as it doesn't cost much MP and SP. If the MC has prep time he doesn't even need to use MP to use Alchemy.
