Chapter 10 : Quality is the only thing that matters!

While he was thinking about his future actions, he found Mary with a wooden spear in her hands, and a training suit. Noah was curious. "What were you doing in that garden?"

Christine spoke. "We were raising my little girl's level with intense martial arts training!" Mary whispered. 'Rather training in hell!'

Increase your level, and martial arts training? The elves had the concept of martial arts in this world, as well as the fighting moves? Noah was very interested. Martial arts were unpopular in modern times, where it had become an old-fashioned way of owning fighting arts.

This consisted of a few movements, and various positions and specific situations. For example, some were focused on fighting, counter-movements, or murder... Finally, as far as the most popular martial arts are concerned.

Noah withdrew, and asked Christine to continue her combat class. Christine nodded, and continued ignoring his presence. "Mary, get back into battle! Use the second martial arts position!"

Mary executed the movement despite her reluctance, and leaned with both legs spread apart, as well as holding out her sword forward. She breathed, then closed her eyes, before executing a quick movement, and throwing herself forward, while swinging her sword as fast as the follow-up reading.

Strangely, he had felt a similarity in comparing the movements, and the videos he had recalled in the fighting arts described, and visualized in the videos, and television. It reminded him strangely of various schools, and practices.

Some fighting arts passed through his head, and quickly found the right fighting art. Kendo! An art of combat centered on eliminating enemies, while maintaining an immutable defense against the opponent! In other words, speed was the right word!

Noah pondered, and did not hesitate to ask for clarification. "Christine, what is this movement called?" She replied. "Kendo!"

That was what he thought, and inexplicably, the name strangely matched the martial art, called Kendo. Is this really a coincidence, or is it a universal martial art, appearing in every society?

Obviously, the movements were less relentless compared to the kendo of this world, but possess some basics of these arts. They were recognizable, but could bet that the martial arts in his world were closer to perfection than these.

The martial arts of his world had been perfected by great masters, and great genius appeared for centuries, having practiced and refined every detail. It could be said that it was the embodiment of martial arts, if magic had existed, it would not be impossible to think that it would have been a growing popularity in its time.

At the same time, Mary performed the same movements in repetitions, and an aura appeared, surrounding her body, with a strange light. "Level increase!" she shouted contently.

Noah was confused. How was it able to level up? He was certain that Mary was in front of him, but had not encountered any beast that had died. In addition, Mary was still swinging her sword, with speed.

A certain thought crossed his mind.

This made his thoughts even more confused. "Can you explain to me why Mary leveled up so easily, when she didn't eliminate any magical beasts?" Christine was thinking. "Do you know the concept of passive level, and active level?" Noah shook his head.

She quickly explained the basis of the system. "In this world, and in this system, there are two ways to increase levels. The first way is to kill magical beasts, which somehow allows you to increase your levels by directly killing living beings. And the second way is to improve, and train periodically in order to increase your level naturally through repetitive work. In other words, the first way is more focused on the Great Catastrophes, and the other is a way to raise one's level in times of peace. »

Ah, he understood. There was a reason for that. Obviously, during the temporal epochs between each disaster, a short peace appeared, dividing, and decreasing the increase in levels, which confers an increased difficulty from the beginning.

At the same time, it was rather intuitive to understand this concept, and to analyze it. First of all this phenomenon was complete, and benefit the increase of levels, for magical beasts, and skills for training.

Thus, the inhabitants of this world could continually increase in level, according to their desires, and their desires. But, it also showed support for the system to raise the level of the people of this world, so Noah was doubtful.

Should the inhabitants of this world have a reason to fight, and to level up? Compared to his planet earth, the world was not as hostile, nor dangerous to humans, and they did not need such a system to survive. He felt like they were forced to fight, and level up.

At the same time, Christine continued to train Mary who swung her sword forward, and resumed her fighting posture, then after a few seconds, a flame appeared engulfing her sword before leaving, and projecting further.

Noah watched the workout minutely, thinking about the thoughts that had appeared in his head. These skills, and this magic differ greatly from his own, which piques his curiosity.

Christine, unaware of Noah's thoughts, continued. "Mary, keep swinging your sword twice!" Noah got closer, and asked. "What are these skills?"

She replied. "These are mundane skills, like [Sword of Flame], or [Step Accelerate]." Noah understood, but asked again. "Can I learn them myself?"

Christine was confused. Could a Spirit Tree learn elven magic, as well as movements that needed an elf-like shape? She shook her head. "Impossible, it would take a humanoid body to have a chance to practice skills dedicated to this body. In your case, you probably get skills compatible with your morphology. »

Well, it had to be expected. He could not practice magic or martial arts, and could not acquire a skill, or a humanoid body, at present. Looking back, Noah was sad.

Mary, who was focused in her training, began to gather huge amounts of mana, and direct it to her flaming sword that engulfed the surroundings. Noah was surprised. "Such a lot of mana in a skill!"

Quickly, Mary stepped forward and sent a clean blow to a wheat puppet in the yard, and an explosion occurred, snapping the surroundings in panic. 'Wow what power!' Noah thought. Mary scratched her head. "Oh. I think I. »

Christine sang a short pronunciation, and water appeared from the void, before spreading to the interior of the courtyard, and purifying all the flames that ravaged the surroundings. She smiled, and nodded. "I expected no less from my little girl! Haha...! »

Mary blushed with shame, but at the same time with pride. Only Noah was taken aback by the attack. He wanted to know more, and understand the principle behind this skill. "What was this attack? How did she multiply her power into a devastating attack? »

Christine fell silent, and let Mary explain herself. "Actually, it's very simple! Just breathe in, and gather huge amounts of mana into my body, and then transfer it into my skill with a thought! And then, while swinging my sword, a wave of damage falls! She laughed with pride as she rubbed her nose.

He was surprised, and verified that it was possible to do the same with his skills! But the problem being, that he has no chance of reproducing it, since every skill he possesses was already powerful enough.

Thus, he also had to obtain a humanoid body before practicing.

Noah was disappointed, then withdrew after Mary finished her training.

Back in his own body, he continued to make the forest and the village prosper, and naturally to take advantage of this moment to purify the distant lands, before concentrating on the strange lands that bordered his territory to the east.

By concentrating his mana on a large scale, he began to swing purifications in all directions, causing bright glows to appear in the sky, and earthquakes in the center of the forest.

The locals were surprised, and the animals began to move even further away from the center of the forest, fleeing for their lives. After a short minute, the noises stopped, and Noah was happy. He had managed to expand, and obstructed land where he could plant other trees to build a new forest.

After planting a few seeds, he moved his vision to the border of his trees which was located to the east, and could see a long earth encrypted by dust, and negative energies. "Can such energy exist in this world?" he asked, analyzing the energy being released, and trying to corrupt it.

Rather than seeing a normal land, or change, he could see a devastated landscape, as well as various destroyed rocks, and colored black, with infertile soils, and a disturbing energy that could corrupt anyone walking on it.

He tried to release seeds into his land, but was quickly dried up, before being turned into dust. Noah is thinking about a suitable solution in this situation. How could it continue to expand eastward if none of these skills could overcome this problem?

At the same time, he also had to solve the problem of corruptible advance that was drying up his lands, and this mobilized enormous resources for him. He withdrew, then passively continued to lie down, continuing to think.

After a few days of reflection, he came up with an interesting, and possibly feasible, idea. "I don't have any other solution, so I might as well try!" he said, before starting to gather huge amounts of mana in his hand.

At first, Noah had focused on expanding his land by hastily relying on the amount of his skills, and many times to skills with a cost generate the minimum amount of mana, so he could expand enormously and distribute his mana equally, purifying in the process all the lands with little corruption.

But it was a futile situation! He now found himself in front of lands too corruptible, and could not continue at this pace! He had to find a new way, and now had a solution!  He wanted to gather all his mana, and his power into one skill and then purify the lands in front of him. So, he reproduced the same movements as Mary, and continued his approach.

Quickly, he was able to gather a quantity of drinking mana, and was able to transfer it to his left hand. He tried to activate a skill with all his accumulated mana, but only a meager skill had escaped from him. Little mana had been consumed. As he suspected, it was impossible for it to work with a deformed body, not having a humanoid constitution, so he found another way!

With his free right hand, he gathered vines, and began to assemble a humanoid status of his own body in natural form, in his previous life. Within minutes, a small moving statute of hundreds of vines had appeared under his feet, and all the mana he held was transferred to this status.

By the time the mana had been transferred, the body could not hold, and explode, before digging a huge crater where it was. Noah was still not pained, and continued his experience.

After all, it was undeniable that he couldn't get it right the first time.

A few months later. [Year 53 months 0]

A miniaturized status with so much detail sprouted in the center of the forest, bordering the east. Soon, a glimmer came out of the inside of the statute, an ominous buzz spread in the vicinity, before the status was ejected into the corrupt lands.

The status to explode on impact, and an amazing explosion of light to purify all the surrounding lands, passing through its forest, and a distance of two-center meters. Noah, who was tired, and thirsty for success, was delighted with the results.

After a short pause, he said. "I finally did it...!" Then fell asleep.

At the same time, a pop-up pop-up appeared. [Level 58]

Two new skills have been unlocked. [Lower Avatar], and [Purifying Bomb].
