Chapter 26

When I arrived, I could already see a familiar face on the ground, dying. I can feel her life force leaving her body. Without hesitation, I quickly use [Message] and ask her a question.

|Is that your desire, child?|

'I-Is that you, God?'

I hear her reply and smile a little.

|Is that truly your desire?|

'Y-Yes. I want to spend my time with my friend… I-I want a family.'

I nod my head and prepare to cast another spell.

|Then I shall grant you your wish, child. [Maximize Magic: Heal] [High-Tier Summon: Seraph Empyrean]|

After I say that, a massive angel from YGGDRASIL appears above me, and I quickly use [Message] to give my newly summoned creature.

|Protect her. She is someone who I choose.|

|Of course, Supreme Being. I shall perform my duty.|

With that being done, I silently teleport back to Zelretch's room. Gaia quickly ran and hugged me tightly when I arrived inside the room.

"Back."

I smile a little and pat her head.

"Of course, I promise right?"

"En"

I walk to the couch and take a bite of the cookies on the table while Gaia decides to take my lap as her seat. I look at Zelretch, who is busy doing something at his table. It looks like a bunch of crystals put together with a tremendous amount of mana pumped inside the crystal.

I decided to wait for him to finish and enjoy the treat he had prepared for us. While enjoying the snack, I decided to look at all the items inside my inventory. I put my hand inside the black hole in front of me and immediately knew what kind of item was inside the inventory.

"Hmmm… I have a few snacks, huh? It was rather useless in the game if you are in the late game. They only heal a small chunk of your HP after all."

I take out a bag of cookies from the inventory and open it. After I open it, I can smell the heavenly smell of the cookies. Holy shit! What a delicious smell. Hmmm, these are the cookies I bought from Helheim.

It was a level seventy cookies.

I take a bite and feel my mouth bombarded with delicious flavor. After eating the cookies, I can see Gaia look at the cookie in my hand. I give her one and see her take a bite of it from my hand.

I really need to sort all the items inside my inventory. Too much junk that I don't need inside of it. Gaia and I enjoy the cookies together while waiting for Zelretch to finish whatever he is doing.

After an hour of waiting, Zelretch walks toward us and says,

"Sorry for the wait. I got the inspiration for my project and need to do it immediately before I forget about it."

"Don't worry about it."

"So, where do you want to go?"

"Hmmm, I want to ask you about that. Which place can you recommend for me?"

"What about here? London. As long as you have that ring of yours, the other magus will not know the location of you. However, you cannot hide her."

I look at Gaia, who is busy stuffing her mouth with the cookies I give her and nod my head.

"Don't worry. I have another ring for her."

"That's good. I have a list of places you can go and visit. Do you want to visit some of the magic side towns and villages?"

"Oh? Do you guys have that? You said that magus prefer not making a village because their secret will be found out by the others."

"The village is not their Workshop. They put their workshop far away from the village and town. You can think it was a hub for all magus to gather ingredients, material and other things for their research."

"Ah, marketplace for magus."

"Bingo. Sadly, only third and second-rate magus stays and sells their product in that place. Don't expect something good."

"Fair enough. However, I still have one problem. I don't have any money. I have gold but I don't think many places are willing to accept it."

"You are right. I have a lot of money, do you want some?"

"Nah. I prefer trade. Tell me how much for this."

I put a hundred pieces of gold on the table and saw him take one of them. He examines it for a minute before saying.

"Pure gold. Fifty grams for each coin. There is no magic or magecraft tainting the gold. A perfect condition. I will take it for 2000 GBP per coin. What do you think?"

I look at him for a second before nodding my head. I don't know why but my instinct tells me Zelretch gives me a fair price. He still made a profit if he sold the coin to the market, but it was fair. Merchants need to profit and all that.

"Fair enough. Do I need a bank account or something?"

"Hmmm? Not really, no. The Magus side of the world did not use cards for transactions and only used cash. However, I recommend you make a card for your mundane travel."

"Can you take care of it for me?"

"Sure. There is someone I can ask for it."

"Thank you."

I put my hand inside my inventory and took out an ingot before tossing it at Zelretch.

"This is?"

"Mithril. A metal that can amplify magic and can even absorb magic from the air. I think it will be a useful thing for you."

I can see him examining the metal for a few seconds.

"This is different. This mithril is more powerful. It eagerly absorbs mana in the air, unlike the one we have. Mithril usually deflect mana making it the perfect armor against magus."

Oh? This world has mithril, huh? However, unlike in YGGDRASIL, mithril in this place deflects mana instead of absorbing it. It was like Adamantium, the metal that rejects mana.

"I will make sure your documents arrive as soon as possible. In the meantime, where do you want to go first?"

"Hmmm, can you take us near the magus village?"

"Of course."

And just like that, Gaia and I arrive in the middle of the forest, just south of the magus village. Hmmm, I wonder how Asia is doing? I don't want her to have the same destiny as before. She is a pure soul who only wants to help people and continue to pray to her god.

I don't want her to be a devil and cannot pray to her god.

|3rd POV|

In the DxD universe, a lone Seraphim is floating in the air, looking at a group of Devil, Fallen Angels, and Humans looking at it with shocked eyes. One of the Fallen Angels points her finger at the angel above her and shouts.

"Impossible! You are not a Seraphim I know! There is not a single Seraphim like you!"

The Seraph looks at the fallen angel called Raynare and says.

"I'm an angel created for a single purpose, to protect the saint my lord has appointed. Not a single dust shall taint her as long as I'm here."

"I-Impossible!"

Raynare grit her teeth and quickly roar at the angel above her. She creates a light spear before throwing it at the angel. The Seraph did not move and took the spear as if it was a small breeze.

"Very well. You shall be exterminated! [Holy Smite]!"

A pillar of light appears around Raynare and disintegrates her into nothingness.

This single attack changed the course of this world. The three bible factions can feel the energy Seraph Empyrean releases. It was the same energy a powerful entity once held but was now dead. It was the same light energy the God of the Bible once wielded.

Sitting on the ground of a garden in the kingdom of the sky is a beautiful woman with blonde hair and golden eyes. She quickly gets up from the ground when she feels that energy. She looks around for a few seconds before a smile appears on her face.

"Father?! Father!!!"
