Chapter 128: Charity Gala I

(Michelle POV)

The venue for the Charity Gala was located at one of Kate's family's properties in Fushan district. It was an hour and a half away from my house, so I need to leave my home a bit earlier to avoid being late.

"You look lovely my dear." I heard my mother said from the door as I gave myself another once over. I must say that the professional stylist my mom hired did a great job.

My hair was in an elegant updo with some tendrils slightly curled to frame my face. My make-up looked natural while emphasizing my best features. My attire, an off the shoulder evening gown crafted with luxurious sapphire colored satin with a wide collar neckline and high-low skirt create a modern yet timeless silhouette. My accessories were kept at a minimum, diamond studs, an eternity bracelet, a fancy dress watch, and a silver clutch bag. My whole ensemble was not too eye-catching, but it was perfect for my age and offered a perfect blend of sophistication and grace.
