1st spirit ring

I'm going to choose integrating spirit rings. Since I don't really know what spirit rings to create yet. Then Eri appeared in front of me and held out her hand, she told me to take her hand so I take her hand and we both got teleported. I was looking around I saw Eri beside me and in front of me is a shadow of myself. We're on a plain of grass. I could feel that it's stronger than me by 5 spirit ranks. So it must be a rank 15 spirit master. Eri then explained to me that the trial is to defeat that shadow within 5 minutes or he would recover to maximum health instantly. I nodded and started to charge toward him. When I thought I reached him suddenly he disappeared and I looked around just for it to be behind me. I then continued to attack but the same result happens again. I then stopped and it disappeared and attack me. so I started to focus all of my sense. Eri seeing me do this smirked.

I started to try and find out what is exactly going on. Why it could disappear and appear so suddenly? Could it be? I then attacked him once more. He disappeared and I started to focus on the sound. I heard that he moved so I predicted and attack it. It worked, just as I expected it's the 1st ring ability that I would get, the ability to reflect light. The light was reflected from the body making us invisible, the downside is that we couldn't see so we needed to predict and uses our other senses to sense our enemy. I then thought that this whole trial is to make me able to uses the spirit ability better. After a while, I finally got to defeat the shadow. The shadow body dispersed and a ring with white coated in gold spirit ring. I thought it was a 10 years old spirit ring but after seeing the gold around it I was surprised as it was a million years old spirit ring. Eri walked towards me.

"Why is my first spirit ring is a million-year-old one?" I asked Eri, "It's all because of your soul tree, I don't know why so don't ask me." She answered. "But wouldn't it bring a lot of suspicions when I use my spirit ability?" She said, "Don't worry as you could change your spirit rings color." I sighed and started to absorb the spirit ring. The process took about 3 hours and I broke through to a rank 13 spirit master. After that, I was teleported again. This time I was near a volcano, with Ame seeing me from the top of the volcano and in front of me is another shadow but having some red in it.

~I'm going to skip as the battle is similar anyway so yeah~

In the morning, I stopped cultivating and felt my rank reaches rank 15 spirit master. The spirit ability I got are :

-Light reflection (Eri)

The ability to reflect light

-Flame control [Absolute Fire] (Ame)

The ability to control fire

-Ice control [Absolute Ice] (Hyoto)

The ability to control Ice

So I got the ability to reflect light and control over fire and ice well I can't summon them so this ability is only good when I got the ability to summon ice and fire. Well, I need to cover up my spirit rank and pretend to hunt with them as I don't know if there is any spirit which is intelligent enough to speak with its host. Better to be safe than sorry right. So I asked my spirit rank to 10 and went to wake Xue and Wuhan up. A few minutes later we're ready to scout the area more. We went together this time. When we scouted the area we found a peculiar cave near the edge of the mountain.

"Should we enter this cave ?" I asked them, Wuhan and Xue are pondering whether or not they wanted to enter the cave as it could be dangerous. "I think we should enter this cave as it's inside the barrier so I think it might be saved," Xue said and Wuhan seemed to agree so we entered the cave. When we walked inside suddenly the entrance closed and The cave lighted up. What inside the cave surprised us as there's a giant mansion inside it. I asked my spirit what is wrong with that mansion as I felt a peculiar feeling seeing it as it was really familiar but my instinct told me to stay away from it. 'Hey, what do you guys think about that mansion the feeling it gives off seems familiar but my instinct told me to stay away from it.' Kuhaku answered first 'It should be safe as I don't feel any malice in the mansion.' Eri and my SIW just agreed. So I see Xue and Wuhan since I'm the leader they waited for my decision whether or not we should enter the mansion.

"Seeing there's no other way to go, I think we should go inside the mansion but remember to stay careful and stick together." They nodded and sees the mansion with curiosity. We went inside the mansion. I feel something would happen but didn't know it would be good or bad.
