Chapter 52

--- 8th Month , 13 , 1245 ----

This morning Alex came to Alonzo to ask if he could help them to the east . Alonzo was curious about the other territory on the east and nodded so they quickly set off there .

Xinn wanted to go too but he was tasked by his husband to guard the cave. 

Xinn pouted and watched together with the other margay tribe and red fox tribe members as the Beastmen left .

Xinn reluctantly turned to look at the busy females and thought that it's boring to do nothing.  He was about to go train in his space when his attention was caught by a certain female .

He was lowering his head down while he draws.  Xinn walked forward behind him and looked at the paper on the wooden table . Surprisingly , the female was sketching a semi realistic drawing of Alonzo , him and his triplets .

When the female finished drawing , the female suddenly heard a clapping sound . Cale immediately turned to his back and saw a tall female gazing at him with his narrowed upturned eyes , he was clapping as he smiled .

" What a wonderful drawing. " Xinn said using spiritual link and sat beside Cale and stared closely at the semi realistic drawing .

Cale at the side blushed shyly and responded.  " T-thank you , Mountain Ruler's Wife.  "

Xinn could no longer understand what he was saying and just patted the female . " Keep going , good luck . You can also call me by my name , it's so awkward to be called by that long title . "

" Xinn "

Xinn smiled satisfied . " Go on , draw more , make me proud . "

Cale blushed then nodded furiously .

Xinn also suggested . " You can also make it a little bigger , I want to put it inside a picture frame.  "

Although Cale doesn't know what a picture frame is , he still nodded and started drawing on a bigger canvas. 

When Cale was about to finish after a lot of long hours passed , Clarence in charge of cooking suddenly announced . " Lunch time!!! Everyone , please take a small break and gather to eat lunch.  "

Cale put down his pencil then politely brought Xinn to the square where all table were placed . The tables and chairs were made by the crafting team and everyone in the tribe likes sitting and eating on it .

Xinn sat down beside Witch Areo from Red Fox Tribe and smiled at him .

Areo patted Xinn's back softly and asked . " You were the one who helped us before , right? "

Xinn tilted his head in confusion , he then sent a spiritual link to say.  " I'm sorry , I couldn't understand you . "

Areo paused then gently smiled . " Alright. "

Areo forgot that the female actually couldn't understand their language but he was surprised to experience this rumored god like ability to send voice directly to one's ear .

Clarence and the other females arrived and started putting all the dishes on top of the table . Xinn was attracted to the foods on the table and salivated.  He never had such a feast for a very long time together with many people .

The taste of food in the table doesn't matter , as long as you are accompanied by friends , colleagues, family members or love ones , the food will taste .

While the whole tribe were in the middle of eating.  Xinn suddenly put down his utensils and stared at the southern direction. The other females curiously followed Xinn's gaze but did not see anything peculiar. 

Xinn's eyesight however is better than them and he could see strangers mid-air watching them .

Xinn stood up and suddenly jumped down on top of a towering tree . All of them immediately stopped their movements and watched the movements of the female. 

Xinn steadied himself and stood straight as he hold an ancient sword. 

Roel and Renneth noticed the female over a tree and paused.  Renneth flapped his wings and hovered mid-air as they slowly moved towards the tree's direction .

Gradually , the outlines of the winged tiger appeared within everyone's vision . When they noticed it , everyone of them gasped in shock. 

Roel stared weirdly at the tall female and whispered to Renneth . " How did that female climb so high up there? "

Rennet also wore an odd expression.  " I don't know how either.  "

Roel and Renneth stopped talking when the female suddenly pointed the sword in his hand to their direction . Followed by that , a cold low voice suddenly rang within both of their minds. 

" Introduce yourselves , strangers.  "

Renneth nodded then slowly landed in front of the tribe's territory. 

All the females and remaining Beastmen stood up and stared at the strangers with guarded expressions. 

When Roel and Renneth transformed into their human form. Xinn immediately recognized the familiarity of their distinct red hair.

Xinn jumped down from the tree and faced the two men aggressively . " What are your purpose here? "

Roel and Renneth flinched in shock witnessing how the female wrecklessly jumped down from a tall tree unscathed. 

Areo and Morgan stood up and slowly walked behind Xinn .

Morgan hesitated . " You guys must be the members from the famous large tribe at the southern area , right? "

Roel and Renneth turned to face Morgan and nodded. 

Areo frowned , " This mountain is ruled by a powerful Snake Beastmen , what are your intentions on coming here? "

Renneth stepped forward and slightly bowed.  " We apologize for the intrusion witches , but in truth , our tribe know nothing about our departure.  "

Roel nodded.  " We left the tribe due to certain reasons.  "

Xinn couldn't understand them so seeing that they don't emit murderous intent , he reluctantly sheathed his sword and crossed his arms.  He couldn't understand why there's a lot of people who dared to come into their territory.  Is his husband not strong enough to intimidate them?

Should he also spread fear to these strangers' bones in order for them to never step their paws in the border of their territory?

Xinn coldly narrowed his eyes and looked at them . Roel stared back at Xinn and frowned , he could feel that the female in front of him isn't an easy one. 

This female is strong. ... But he couldn't understand how .

Renneth asked.  " Excuse me for my rudeness Witch , but is it fine for us to stay here for a while ? "

Morgan smiled at them . " You pitiful guys are always welcome in our tribe , however , the moment you stay here in our territory.  Please don't cause any kinds of trouble to us . "

Renneth nodded.  " We wouldn't dare , Tribal Witch.  "

Xinn scratched his head missing his husband for a moment , his husband is such a great translator. Unfortunately , he is absent this time. 

Xinn watched as Morgan and Areo welcomed the two red haired man inside. 

Well , since all the troublesome matters have been dealt with , he no longer has to concern about it.  Xinn went back to his seat and continued eating his breakfast.

The two strangers were led by Morgan and Areo to the side table where most Beastmen are gathered. 

Morgan introduce them to the whole tribe except Xinn who couldn't understand their language. 

Roel and Renneth slightly bowed and excused themselves that they would be living for a while in this tribe starting today. 

The other Beastmen did not alienate the two strangers and immediately got along after a few exchange of ideas and informations. 

Xinn stared at them weirdly , no wonder this tribe easily encounters disaster , it is because they are not vigilant enough. 

Xinn however couldn't judge a person by its cover.  He could only wait until these men showed their true color.  Once they show intentions of hurting the tribe , he would unsheathe his sword and cut their throats.

Roel peeked at the silent female and asked the Beastmen in the tribe.  " Who is that female who jumped from the tree just now? "

Oliver , a margay tribesmen who were left behind to guard the tribe answered.  " That's the wife of the mountain ruler , snake beastman.  I'm warning you brother , don't lay your intentions on that female.  He's a high ranking person in this place and no one dares to disrespect her.  "

Jake at the side ate a sausage added.  " He's also strong , wise , generously and mysterious.  Everyone respects that female. "

Renneth and Roel nodded. 

That female is indeed not an ordinary female . Even they could feel that they are no match against him. 

The two of the thought to themselves ... What kind of place is this northern mountain. 

Not long after the two of them settled.  The whole tribe suddenly bustled with joy.  The two tigers curiously stepped out of their wooden house and looked forward. 

The whole tribe crowded themselves as they waved their hands to the eastern direction.  Roel and Renneth turned their heads to look and saw a group of Beastmen coming over while dragging large amount of preys .

Alonzo dragged a big cart full of ancient cows and waved excitedly to his wife. 

Xinn waved back and smiled . Alonzo immediately handed the cart to Alex and ran like a gust of wind to pounce on his wife. 

" Hahaha , welcome back , husband.  " Xinn smiled and opened his arms to recieve Alonzo's warm hug. 

Alonzo enveloped his arms around Xinn and showered Xinn's cheeks with kisses. The other taken Beastmen also pulled their mates and started showing public display of affection as they kissed their mates. 

The single Beastmen left behind pulling bug carts felt sour in their mouth and stumped their feet in anger. 

These fools!!!!

Alex's eyes suddenly landed on a beautiful female and stared at Han.  Han also stared back at the blonde haired man and blushed. Alex immediately covered his mouth as a suspicious red surfaced upon the handsome man's cheeks. 

Alex slowly pulled the cart forward and stopped in front of the female. 

His heart is beating really fast right now. 

There seems to be bubbles of heart surrounding them as well as flowers blooming between them.  Alex rubbed his nose in shyness then extended his hand forward. 

Han slowly put his hands on top of it and looked up as he blinked. 

Alex coughed in awkwardness then eventually confessed. 

" Han ... I'm attracted to you ... " .

" C-c can I court you? "

Han's face immediately turned red as red as tomato. 

Han immediately pulled his hand back then fidgeted.  " A-alex .. I like you.  "

" S-so , if you are serious  ... You can court me.  "

" Really? " Alex's eyes immediately shone like gems as he stared at Hans intensely. 

Hans blushed then nodded.  " Y-yeah.  "

Roel and Renneth ...

This tribe ...

They could see varieties of colors of a heart and different kinds of flowers blooming everywhere. 

Isn't this dog food just too much?
