Chapter 8: Aftermath
Finn Deimne POV
It was just another day of taking care of paper works and preparing for another expedition. And he heard the news of the Astraea Familia made it out alive from the dungeon safe and sound and was happy that they all manage to get out safely. And i check the report they sent to the guild and was surprised they we're attacked by a Juggernaut while fighting the Evilus. But im curious on how they manage to escape from a Juggernaut it seems like there is something they didn't say on the report on how to manage to get away from the Juggernaut without having a casualties and it seems they are trying to hide an important detail that they didn't mention in their report to the guild. My thumb is beginning to tingle just by thinking about it.
And as i was about to finish my work the ground suddenly started shaking and i immediately stand up on and rushed out of the office and to find Gareth and Riveria. And after meeting with them on the hallway then Raul suddenly came in from the front door looking exhausted "What happened Kid what's going on?!" Gareth asked "Captain! Ottar appeared on the Market Area and suddenly attacked an adventurer. And Ottar looks extremely mad!" Raul replied. We we're all shocked 'Ottar attacking someone suddenly. It doesn't make any sense. Ottar wouldn't attack someone unless...' Finn thought "Are you serious kid Ottar appeared on the Market and attacked an adventurer. That doesn't sound like Ottar at all." Gareth questioned Raul "It is indeed something Ottar wouldn't do unless... someone hurt Freya." Riveria suggested "It's most likely that's what happened if Ottar indeed attack someone in a fit of rage. Then that person indeed attack the Goddess Freya." I replied and my thumb is starting to get itch right now.
"Finn, Riveria, and Gareth go to the market and find out what's happening there." Out of knowhere Loki appeared and told Finn and the others to find out what's going on. Finn nodded and look at his two friends and said "Let's go we have to make sure things don't go out of hand and stop Ottar." And we head out and rushed to the Market Area.
As we approach we saw from far away that Ottar was sent flying and we're all surprised when we saw Ottar got sent out just like that. We looked the guy who was facing Ottar he has a long spiky hair reaching up to his waist and he looks like he's wearing some kind of crimson armour with numerous metal plates, forming protective guards along his chest, waist, shoulders and thighs and carrying a strange weapon i haven't seen before. My thumb suddenly is starting to feel a tremendous amount of pain just by looking at him. 'He's dangerous, extremely dangerous' my instincts keeps telling me to stay away from him.
And Ottar came out of the building he was in and rushed at the person that he was fighting with his greatsword imbued with his magic 'Hildis Vini' then the weapon that the boy was using vanished from his hand and i noticed his eyes we're changing. Then when Ottar swing his greatsword imbued with magic the boy caught his weapon with one hand and said "Too much Energy." And Ottar tried to get away when suddenly a huge blue skeletal arm grab Ottar and it prevented him from escaping with it's tight grip.
And then the blue skeletal arm punched lifting him of the ground and then we heard "Wood Style: Wood Dragon" and out of the ground a dragon made of wood tried to attack Ottar but was cut in half. Then he used another of his ability "Sage Art: Storm Release: Fang of Light" i felt the danger coming from that ability and if i we're to get hit by it i would surely be dead. Then the light cut the Ottar's greatsword in half. That greatsword was made from the drop of the floor boss Udaeus and just like that it was cut in half with no effort.
Then this time Ottar was suddenly pulled and he was grabbed by the neck. This kid is strong way too strong how come i never heard of him before and judging from his expression he's not even taking this seriously. The Freya Familia started appearing one after another and they gathered and look at their beaten up captain they all rushed at him and the kid just look them and let go of Ottar then suddenly "Almighty Push" they we're sent all flying and i was getting nervous just by watching this fight. He just raised his and all of them we're blasted away. Riveria and Gareth are also getting nervous they both look like they're going to attack the kid if things did get out of hand i will also interfere if things did escalate but im not sure if i can fight this kid. My thumb wont stop aching just by thinking about that idea.
Then he looked at our direction and asked "Are you enjoying the show." i was startled for a bit and already started feeling a bit pressured just by his words alone. Then he turned around look at the Freya Familia and suggested they take Ottar away and they did after thinking about it for a bit.
I must report this to Loki-sama and ask what will we do about this mess. And judging from his appearance it looks like he just arrived here and he's with Alise the Captain of the Astraea Familia and if my guess is correct he must be the one who save Alise and her friends from the dungeon against the Juggernaut that explains why they all survive against it.
I look at Riveria and asked "What do you think? This kid is without a doubt new to Orario and he just arrived a while ago and he already possess this kind of strength." Riveria thinks for moment and replied "For him to possess this kind of strength he must be either a Hero or someone who is already blessed by a Deity before coming to Orario." And Gareth asked "And what do you think about his Magic all of them are Instant Cast and his Eyes they change and have a weird pattern?" Riveria thinks for a second and said "Heredity perhaps or just a skill, as for his magic i don't know." I nodded at her then said "Alright let's head back and report to Loki-sama." They nodded and as we left. We saw the Guild Head Royman Mardeel approach the kid asked him to follow him to the guild and the kid agreed without resisting.
Alise POV
Madara asked me to head back by myself and wait for him to come back home later and report back to Astraea-sama. I tried to say something to him and he looks at me and said "We'll talk later." As he was saying that he was patting my head and i can feel my face burning up and just nodded at him and he started walking with the guild members and head to the guild headquarters. So i went back home and report what happened to Astraea-sama.
Madara POV
As i was walking i started to think that when i'm fighting Ottar my behavior is becoming more like 'Madara' and the more i fight Ottar the more i realized that i am not having a hard time when facing someone who clearly has more fighting experience than me. Maybe it's one Madara's perk or just my soul is already adapting on this body and merging with my soul and making me a lot more like 'Madara'. But my i still feel quite myself when im not fighting someone. Then it's good if it's only affecting my behavior when im fighting instead of me turning into like the 'Madara' i know in the original. And i check my status and selected the [Quest].

After receiving my reward from the quest i decided i will test my skills in the dungeon later and focus on taking care of this mess i made.
A/N: 1800 words still not good enough. Anyway this is it for this week i will post a lot of chapters next week i will keep it in the drafts for now before posting it.
