I really succeeded in making a portable stable device that can open a portal anywhere on earth. I wonder what face they will make when they know I was able to make the device, especially Tatsuya and Mayumi. Imagining their reaction tomorrow is enough to make it one of the best moment in life.

Next day in Magician Research and Development Institutes

Inside the testing ground

General POV

A lot of People were gathering inside the viewing platform and watching a few people in the testing ground getting ready for the live demonstration and experiment. Most of the people gathering here are influential and powerful people in Japan and the world. The top ten clan and also some powerful families like the Yotsuba clan etc.

They all watch a man standing on the platform starting his speech about his device. The man ended his speech with the start of the experiment. They all watch how a using a watch and started operating it inputting a coordinates somewhere in earth, when he finished he slowly Raised his hand and pointed in front of him.

Few seconds later, a portal appeared in front of the man and the viewer on the platform could see the classic Mt Fuji in the distance through the screen on the platform.

Theo POV

After his speech he started using a recording device making sure that what will happen he will be able to record it and can view it whenever he wants. It is just that the recording device is focused on the people in the viewer platform. A few seconds later he successfully captured their reaction and he started laughing. Until a minute later he started calming down and making sure the recording device is secure and also he started giving instruction after a few experiments looking in the data collected he concluded the end of Test and everyone started applauding.

General POV

A moment later, Tatsuya started walking in his direction. He also started walking to meet Tatsuya halfway through. They stared at each other for 5 seconds until they were interrupted by Mayumi calling both their attention. Mayumi started discussing the Theo portable portal. Along with others they started discussing the plan about the device they discussed for the whole 4 hours. After that they started heading in one of the conference rooms, started having dinner, relaxing and while some started heading in their own way. When only the people left were people of their age they started talking about their past like the Nine school competition especially their youth time. This happened until they noticed that it was already midnight, they all started heading home.

Theo POV

Theo started heading to his own lab. He started making a backup file about the test and giving his own point on what it does to improve it. He then took a portable disk in his drawer and started to copy every file that was on his computer. After making sure he copied all files he ejected the disk, he held the disk in his hand and stared at it for a few seconds and the disk magically disappeared. Theo closed his eyes for a bit and in his mind a gamer style system appeared.
