The test

As the test begins, I watch my classmates. Izuku looks completely panicked. Bakugo, on the other hand, looks impatient. Everyone is preparing as they can.

The first test then begins. It's the 50 meters. Each passes with his technique. Todoroki slides on ice, Bakugo uses his explosions to cross the distance. Then it was Lida who set the record at 3.04 seconds.

Everyone looks impressed.

Then it's my turn. I pass with Izuku. I feel he is looking at me so I look back at him. He looked intimidated for a moment before regaining his confidence.

"Good luck Hayato-kun" he said to me

"Yeah, you too" I answered half-heartedly.

After the sound of the start, I started to run at full speed. Although I don't have a quirk to improve myself physically, my training from an early age isn't wasted. I stay faster than most of them. After all, apart from Lida who specializes in speed, most of them aren't very fast. Of course there are some exceptions like Bakugo.

I did the 50 meters pretty fast even without a quirk. After all, the rest of the kids are still kids who don't know how to run. I studied the human body in great detail for my fighting technique. In addition, I have found that the humans who have quirks in this world are a bit stronger physically than the rest. Probably due to genetic evolution.

Then Izuku arrived 2 seconds later for a total of 7.02s. It seems that even with almost a year of training there is not much he can do.

After that for each event I continued to score not too bad. Then as in the anime, Izuku did the same to throw the ball.

I saw All Might watching the scene. When he saw that I was looking at him, he smiled at me and took a jojo pause. I nodded back to him. He's pretty funny.

On the other side, Bakugo was making a scene.

"Deku !!!! What is this mess !!! "

Then Aizawa grabbed him with his fabric strips. Seeing my expressionless gaze, Bakugo shouted at me

"Oy !! Don't you mind that he took us for idiots for all these years !!? Hayato !!! "

I looked at him then answered him

"Frankly whether or not he has a quirk, I don't care. "

I then looked at Izuku

"Also if it's to get a quirk that you can't handle, you'd better stop using it. "

As I finished speaking I saw that Izuku looked scared for a moment before regaining his fighting spirit. It seems that having a quirk gave him a lot of self-confidence.

Izuku is an ordinary person who wants to accomplish something extraordinary. For the first 15 years of his life he was quirkless and he made no effort to train or get stronger. All he had were big words without any action. The entire time he was intimidated by Bakugo, he didn't try to defend himself. Although he doesn't have a quirk, that's no excuse. Aizawa, even without his erasing quirk, could beat 90% of the class simply through his martial arts.

Then I turned my gaze to Bakugo

"Bakugo, you are really stupid sometimes. Try to think more once in a while before you want to blow up everything. "

Bakugo knows full well that Izuku has no quirk. After all, if he already had one, he would never have been intimidated. Sometimes he can be really stupid. Either way, he's going to find out Izuku's secret soon so it doesn't change much to give him clues now.

After that, the exam resumed. Bakugo seemed deep in thought and Izuku struggled with the pain all the time.

Looking at my classmates, I noticed that their powers are hardly developed. With a few exceptions such as Todoroki or Bakugo. Yaoyorozu Momo for example has one of the quirks that interests me the most, but she seems to have no imagination when it comes to using her quirk. The others, I have the impression that they never trained their quirks seriously.

At the end of the trials, Aizawa posted our ranking. And as expected, I ended up ranking in the middle-high and Izuku finished last like in the anime.

I saw a brief look of hesitation in Aizawa's gaze before returning to his characteristic dead fish eyes.

He must have been considering whether to fire Izuku.

Then as Izuku panicked, Aizawa announced

"Oh, by the way, that was a lie, nobody got expelled"

"I just wanted to put pressure on you for you to give 100% of what you have"

Then Momo looked at them and said

"Oh haven't you noticed? Yet it seemed obvious "

"You missed a chance to shut the fuck up again," I thought.

If it wasn't because Izuku showed inventiveness when he used his quirk, he really would've been fired. I would have liked to see her face then.

And that's how my first day of class ended.
