Travel through the multiverse

In most novels, the MC is stupid, thoughtless, and his plot armor is way too powerful. I'll try to do something different here. Having lived a life of suffering and mental torture his entire first life, he will do his best to gain as much freedom as possible. The MC will be careful, manipulative and intelligent. We will follow his journey to freedom. Hey! This is the first time that I write something. English is not my first language, so I apologize for any grammatical errors I haven't seen. I await your feedback. I am open to all constructive criticism. Good reading :) This incredible thumbnail is by this guy. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChdC718_Kndnuc5I7sh8_Q/featured -------------- DISCLAIMER Art is not mine and only the OC’s in the fanfic are my creations

Research (*spoiler alert*)

Although he seemed sleepy and totally vulnerable, I would never underestimate him. After all, he was the one who managed to cheat everyone. In the eyes of the world he appeared to be an honorable and respectable doctor who saved hundreds of lives, while in reality he was one of All for One's closest confidants.

I am 100% sure that if I took a single step in his room I would be immediately discovered.

I was able to get so deep into his house only because he doesn't want to attract too much attention. It was therefore limited to cameras hidden in the walls, microphones and laser motion detectors. My x-ray vision allowed me to thwart all of this. However, inside his house, he doesn't have to be so restricted and he can put as many countermeasures as he wants.

This man is extremely careful. We are very similar on this point. And like me, the place where he lives is full of traps. Just what I can see with my x-ray vision give me shivers. But I'm sure he also must have been planning something in case someone with a Quirk like mine steals him.

Well, that's if I hadn't come prepared. I took out of my pocket a little mouse encased in a glass ball.

This mouse has the particularity of transforming living beings with a touch into a state of ghosts for the next 15 minutes. The "ghost" is invisible and intangible. He cannot interact with his environment. This ability cannot be used on oneself, and it can only be used only one time on the same target. Without these drawbacks, this ability would have been incredible. And even with it, it's still incredibly useful.

Doctor Kyudai Garaki is convinced that no one knows his identity. In addition, he still has not started his activities with the Villains Alliance. So I'm going to take this opportunity to steal his nomu research results from him.

As my body grew ghostly, I crept into the bedroom. I was sure that paranoid as he is, he must be like me and keep the results of his research very close to him.

As I searched his room, I found a file called "anti-AM subject"

I looked inside with my x-ray vision which allows me to see through each page one by one by adjusting the power of my vision. I saw that these were the results of the nomu who will fight All Might at the USJ in the anime.

Perfect ! I was just looking for an ordinary nomu but came across the most successful specimen.

I quickly memorized the important data and then quickly left. I'm not confident enough to stay here a minute longer.

As I returned, I quickly wrote down the research results before I forgot them. I have a very good memory but I don't want to make mistakes in the last step of my plans.

After writing them I started to proofread the data.

So according to Kyudai Garaki, each person has a different biological limit.

For example the mouses that I have done my tests on can only accommodate a single quirk before their DNA collapses. Humans also have a different limit. But since every human has a quirk that makes them unique, the limit for each human varies.

It's like a hard drive. However, the closer you get to your genetic limit, the heavier the burden on your body. This is why the nomus have no human appearance or reasons. It's because the doctor doesn't care about the side effects. Otherwise, if there was no limit, the nomu would be invincible as they would just need to be filled with quirks until they could no longer be defeated.

Now I have to determine my limit. According to Dr Kyudai, you have to look into the part of the genome responsible of quirks. In this DNA strand, an area determines the genetic boundary of the body.

...

After 2 hours of analysis on my own DNA, I observed the results printed on a sheet.

"So my genetic limit is 4 eh?"

It doesn't sound so good. Of course, I can never go to 4, otherwise my body could not take the pressure and I would become a monster without reason like the nomus.

I guess I'm limited to around 2 or 3 more quirks. Fuck I can't imagine the limit of All for One that allows him to take all the quirks he wants. Maybe his quirk allows him to turn off his biological limit?

But well 3 quirks is still better than nothing.

Now I need to study these results more carefully. After all, maybe it was just a decoy set up by the professor to lead potential thieves astray.

These results can show me the way and greatly reduce the time I need for my own research, but I shouldn't rely on them too much.

But if I have to choose where to take my quirks I think U.A. would be the best choice. After all, this is where those with the most promising quirks gather.

For that I will have to take the entrance exams. Next year will be my last year of middle school. So I have 1 year to finish my research. Plus I have to find a way to pass the practice exam. After all, although I am very strong against humans beings, the adversaries of the exams will be robots. And I'm not going to beat them just by looking at them intensely-….

Waits ! That just gave me an idea to use my quirks in an offensive way!

...

...

...

I am currently in my last year of middle school. During the past year, I accelerated my research and it was finally successful. As I thought, the research results I stole from the professor were riddled with pitfalls. If anyone had used these results to get new quirks, they would have just ended up brain dead in a hospital bed.

And I finally found a way to pass the UA practice exam with my quirk.

This is not a long term method anyway. Once I have developed enough offensive power, my original quirk will switch to the supporting role.

For my next quirk, I thought for a long time about which one to copy. But no matter how I think about it, I always end up falling back on the same.

If the person who possessed this quirk was aware of its totally colossal potential I wonder what they would think. Before his power, even One for All and All for One must bow.

If this power is what I think it is, it's probably one of the most powerful.
