Travel through the multiverse

In most novels, the MC is stupid, thoughtless, and his plot armor is way too powerful. I'll try to do something different here. Having lived a life of suffering and mental torture his entire first life, he will do his best to gain as much freedom as possible. The MC will be careful, manipulative and intelligent. We will follow his journey to freedom. Hey! This is the first time that I write something. English is not my first language, so I apologize for any grammatical errors I haven't seen. I await your feedback. I am open to all constructive criticism. Good reading :) This incredible thumbnail is by this guy. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChdC718_Kndnuc5I7sh8_Q/featured -------------- DISCLAIMER Art is not mine and only the OC’s in the fanfic are my creations

Awakening

(Hayato POV)

It's been 2 months since I was born. And this world doesn't seem much different from my previous one. I learned that my last name is Yagushi. My father is called Shinsaku and my mother Reiko.

I spend most of my time in my crib, with my parents taking care of me. Currently I was in my father's arms watching TV.

Oh by the way, my new dad didn't die like I thought. In fact, he broke his arm coming to the hospital on the day of the birth. From what I heard, he was in such a hurry and excited that he didn't notice the 4 steps at the entrance to the hospital.

Do not ask me how he accomplished this feat, I myself sometimes meditate on the matter from time to time. It's the first time I've seen someone break their arm on their way to the hospital.

On the other hand, from my observations over the past 2 months, my mom really doesn't know that I'm a reincarnated person. It was just a bad tast sentence. Unless she's been playing a role all the time. In that case, she would be the most terrifying person I ever known.

Anyway, I can't do anything about it right now in this child's body, there's no point in worrying about something that I have no influence on. At least I have two healthy parents, and the family's financial situation isn't bad. I would even say it's pretty good. I probably wouldn't miss anything in my life.

We were watching TV and everything was fine until I see in it a very tall man with an equally muscular and well-defined physique, his design resembling a typical American comic book superhero. He had short blonde hair, swept backwards, with two distinct tufts above his head, tilted slightly to either side, which cast a dark shadow over his face, hiding everything but his brilliant blue eyes. He was currently being interviewed about the "last villain arrested".

He looks strangely familiar to me. Vilain? Super hero ?

Wait … this guy really looks like All Mi- ALL MIGHT !!!!

Yes it's All Might!

Does that mean I'm in the world of My Hero Academia ?!

Wait, think, think, think.

At least now I have confirmed where I am. I now know that I am in a world where most people have super powers. Well, other than a few people who missed the bandwagon I mean. But it also means that any person could kill me instantly.

My first priority is therefore to become strong enough to be able to act as freely as I want. But well, this is all going to have to wait until I get my quirk, I can't do anything in my baby body.

Aside from all that, I wonder what my power will be. They say it's a mix between the powers of both parents. Although I am preparing for the worst, I hope it will be something powerful. After all in a world where anything is possible, why settle for mediocrity.

From what I remember, quirks are divided into 3 categories:

Activation, Transformation and Mutation.

At least I can confirm some things. First, it's not a mutation-type quirk. After all neither of my 2 parents have any visible differences compared to an ordinary human being. Second, observing my feet closely, I remembered that people without quirks are born with 2 joints on their little toes.

Looking at my toe I noticed that there was only one joint.

Phew!

I wiped the non-existent sweat on my forehead. Now I'm at least sure I have a quirk. Whether it is strong or not, I don't know but at least I will have one.

It only remains for me to wait for the awakening of my quirk. From what I remember the average is around 4 years old. I hope to have mine sooner, I don't want to waste 4 years doing nothing.

-------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- -----------------------

(Timeskip: 2 years and 4 months)

It will soon be 2 and a half years that I am in this world, I am starting to get used to seeing heroes on TV.

I was currently in the living room, fighting an uphill battle with my mother. Each had a plush in the shape of a bird (mine is an eagle). The object of the game was to catch the opponent's plush before the opponent hits you on the head 3 times with it. Granted, it's not the best game of the year, but they must think it's enough to keep a kid busy. And you can guess that with the coordination and reflexes of a 2 year old, I don't often win.

Besides, this family has a real problem with eagles. All the toys they bought me had somehow to do with them damn it!

As I was suffering defeat after defeat at the hands of my mother who wasn't showing no mercy and that I gradually began to lose patience. I was considering using my ultimate technique to secure the win. I called it "the tears of victory", the principle was very simple but its effect was devastating. It just consisted of making battered dog eyes and then starting to cry softly. Not the kind of loud, annoying scene but more of one that would melt anyone's heart.

Especially since I was a pretty cute kid, the effect would be increased tenfold.

I had black hair and black eyes, I looked like a mix between my dad and my mom unlike what she said the day I was born. My face was not the prettiest but still slightly above average.

As tears started to appear in my eyes, I saw my field of view suddenly widen from 124 ° to 360 °. My visual range has also been greatly increased. I don't know exactly by how much, but everything that came into my field of vision could be seen very precisely.

As I was immersed in this incredible feeling, I heard my mother scream in surprise. I look towards her. Then she grabbed me by both shoulders and looked me really intensely straight in the eye.

I then heard her say in shock

"Did you already awakened your quirk!? "

So it seems that my speculation is correct and that I have awakened my quirk, but I decide to play the innocent child by answering:

"Qu-quirk? I feel like I can see everything. Is that my quirk? "

My mother then got up and rushed upstairs. She returned 1 minute later with a mirror in her hands. She then pointed it at me and then I could see the change in my eyes. Apart from the color of my pupil which remained black, my iris turned white while the rest turned black. It looks pretty scary now that I take a closer look.

I then heard my mother ask in a voice tinged with a mixture of joy, excitement and worry.

" Are you OK ? does it hurt ? What do you mean by "I can see everything"? "

As I heard her question, I remembered a scene from about a year ago.

Flashback:

I was currently in my mother's arms and she was walking down the stairs to the basement. Apparently it was my father's work desk.

*Knock Knock knock*

My mother knocked on the door before hearing a muffled voice inside saying

" You can come in ! the door is open "

As she opened the door I could see my father standing in front of a lab table observing something on the table. Stretching my head slightly I could see there was nothing in front of him. I then turned my gaze to my mother and asked

"Daddy-what-he-do?" "

My mother then looked at me tenderly and replied

"He works Hayato. He is a researcher for the government. It is thanks to him that we can have such a beautiful house "

Researcher eh? Interesting.

End of flashback

Since that day, I had some speculations about my parents' quirks. First of all I think my mother's has something to do with eagles. After all, she's the one who decides most of everything in this house. So the "eagle" theme must be because of its quirks or something. I imagine it's something like the eagle's vision or something like that. After all, my quirk should be the mix of that of my 2 parents.

As for my father I think it must also be improved vision but more in the "microscope" sense after all it must be super usefull for a researcher to have a microscope 24 hours a day.

I'm not sure about the 360 ° view yet. I didn't notice it in either of the 2. As for the microscopic vision, I look at my hand and try to take a closer look. Suddenly my vision zooms in and I can see the pores of my skin extremely clearly.

So to summarize I inherited 2 quirks from my parents plus a 360 ° vision.

Now what do I give as answer?

I have to be careful after all, although my ability is not very powerful, it is extremely useful for research and I don't want to get attention too much now.

I guess I'll tell her that I just have improved eyesight, after all that must be a pretty common ability that doesn't get too much attention. I have other plans in mind for my quirk. To have such a useful power for research and not to use it would be a waste.

So I look at my mother and answer her innocently.

"I can see a lot better! It's like I have binoculars, but much better! "

My mom looked at me with what seemed like joy of relief and…. pride?

"Hahaha !! You inherited my power Hayato! hahahaha! Fortunately your father did not rub off on you! His power allows him to see extremely well up closely, down to the cellular level of things, but otherwise he is completely short-sighted. My power is called eagle's vision, as the name suggests, it allows me to see clearly up to 2 km. "

Listening to her, I had a kind of enlightenment. So that's why my dad broke his arm the day I born. He just did NOT SEE the steps.

Then my mom took me to the town hall to register my quirk in their databases.
