After some time when I was done preparing so that we could leave, I then took Sieena's hands and handed her a handgun.

Opening the door I scan the surroundings and jog toward a car that can turn on.

Opening the car door I leaned down, with a screwdriver in my hand I then took off the plastic cover on the steering column after that I found the roll of electric wires with that I did the rest and tried not to be electrocuted.

With a little bit of connection of wire here and there the engine roars, without hesitation, I then put the screwdriver on the keyhole, and after that, I call Sieena who is waiting with Gary by her side.

"How did you even know how to start a car? " Siena said with a hint of doubt.

" well.....a friend taught me how to do it, do you still remember Mr. Mark our garage neighbor, At that time when Dad's car engine broke down I asked him for help and so when I got curious I asked and he taught me. " I said giving her a gummy smile.

" I see," she mumbled and put on her seatbelt before I did the same then I stepped on the accelerator and drove toward the Urban City where Base D was located.

While driving I then turn on my phone Bluetooth and connect it to the car radio.

" how do you even have music? " Sieena asks as she lets the melody sing her to sleep.

" I have my way. " I said as I moved to the beat and Gary howled happily.

After 4 hours of driving and stopping to refill the gas tank we then now arrive at Base D.

Slowly driving my way toward the gate three armed men walked toward the front of the car making me stop, they then gestured for us to get out, but before I stepped out of the vehicle I smiled at Sieena when she looked at me with worry.

I then step out with my hands up since they are pointing their guns at me, then they search my body and my military bag for possible weapons, then one of them walks toward Sieena with a lustful smirk and then proceeds to search Sieena making her uncomfortable and make me made a fist but I control myself before I cut that man's hand and shove it on his ass.

" fucker. " I mumble with fury then I whistle for Gary to go toward Sieena and when the man is about to touch Sieena inappropriately Gary without hesitation shomps the man's hand hard which he howls in pain.

Then he looks at Gary in fury after receiving bite that leaves three holes in his hand.

"Why you little shit! " when he was about to stomp on Gary's head his companion then drag him away and he struggle and shout in anger, his tantrums didn't stop until someone chop his neck which made the trash unconscious.

" looks like you all are clean, You free to go and register at that counter which will give your grade a quarter. " a man with a beard said and pointed to the place which had a long line not minding the situation with his man.

" and your car will be our payment for the entrance you will pay at the counter," he said as he got in and parked the car somewhere else.

" let's get going. " I said as I held Sieena's hand tightly and walked toward the line with Gary following.

When we were now at our line I asked Sieena multiple concern if she was uncomfortable or wanted the trash dead, Sieena heard it pinch me on the side which earned my mumble ouch, and told me not to cause trouble, but that didn't stop me giving Gary praise and head pats.

After waiting for an hour, it was now our turn, after entering the base the counter man gave us paper and filled it with our information, and then I paid with 6 cans of food and 3 bottles of water after that we stepped into the base.

But based on our information as a normal citizen 2 guards then guided me and Sieena on a complicated part of the base since this is where all the poor and squatters while the other area is a luxurious part where all the powerful and important people live.

" stay close. " I whispered to Sieena when I saw all curious and predatory eyes.

With that, I then tell Gary to catch the scent of my parents making the little guy walk forward while sniffing the surroundings.

With that he looked at me and jogged toward the scent, I and Sieena just kept up, and there Gary stopped on a worn-out camp that was too small, the surroundings even reel of disgusting rotten smell.

After I pat Gary on the head for his well-done job I then entered the camp there I saw 5 people 2 of whom were my parents and were sitting on the floor with a blanket only to cover the floor while the other 3 were smoking on the corner.

" Dad! " Sieena said first before me and ran towards my father and hugged him then my mother.

The two elders look shocked and my mother then weeps.

" oh child you're still alive. " my mother said and hugged me.

" yes Mom, I am alive and well. " I said and hugged her back then glanced at Father and hugged him.

" you did well," he said and patted my shoulders.

"Where is Xiao Bai? " Mother said concerned.

" she is in good hands mom, Sieena and I just want to pick you up and go together to get cub cub. " I said

" good good. " Mom said then gently patted my cheeks.

" let's go before night falls. " I said, then whispered to Sieena to guide Mom and Dad out with Gary to guard then I kept up.

Just before when we almost arrived at the exit a man with tattoos all over then stood in front.

" hey old man, where are you all going, did you even forget to pay," he said before eyeing Sieena at the side with my mom holding her.

"Brother Carl, we are not looking for trouble I have finished paying with 3 canned food and 2 water bottles, please let us walk away peacefully. " Father said calmly but I know he was angry since the owner's father in the past is a highly trained soldier and just retired because of all the dirty work assigned to him.

"Dad let me handle this. " I said then took a 9mm with a silencer and gave it to Dad with two pieces of ammo, looking at the pistol Dad just nodded and hid the pistol in his cloth that was oversized.

Standing in front of the man without saying anything I then open my backpack and throw 6 canned food and 6 water.

" that is not enough! " he said but I just smirk.

" might as well take it if not. " I then gesture to the people looking and salivating like an animal looking at the good on the ground, knowing his situation Carl then kneels on the ground and hugs the food and water like a dog while glaring at me.

With that everyone ran at him and wanted to steal the food causing a riot.

With all the distractions I then led my family out and entered an SUV that was fully operating and just a little connected with the wire like I did on the car earlier engine roared and I maneuvered the car like a professional and drove out of the Urban City.
