“The… the Under… world?” Zary stuttered blankly after him. Her large expressive eyes telling him clearly that she thought she had misheard him the first time.
“Yes. The Underworld.” Sam repeated as he nodded. The thought that she looked super cute while being confused filled his mind.
“Umm… your… realm?” Again, Zary could only repeat what he had told her earlier. And he nodded at her question, following it with a gentle and understanding smile.
He patiently waited for her to process everything. He knew that this would be extremely hard for her to digest. It would be hard for any human to digest.
“So… so you’re… you were…” she swallowed hard to stop stuttering and cleared her throat a couple of times before continuing, “you were never a robot in the first place…??”
