SOMETHING HURTS

With a sad feeling Alvaro threw his body on the bed and accidentally Alvaro's hand rested on the necklace that belonged to Luna that Zenita had given him.

Slowly Alvaro opened the necklace pendant. Alvaro's eyes filled with tears when he saw the photo of Luna smiling.

"I don't understand what are you thinking Luna? why should we both suffer. It's been too long since we both kept all of our feelings together. Am I wrong if I want to return our love to its place?" Alvaro asked while rubbing his face looking at the photo of Luna who still smiled at him.

"Drrrt... Drrrt... Drrrt "

Alvaro turned to his cellphone and then put on the two necklaces Zenita gave him and Luna.

With his body still limp, Alvaro took his cell phone.

"Damien? why did he call me?" Alvaro asked in his heart as he accepted Damien's call.

"Hi Al? how are you? where are you now?" Damien asked not knowing what happened to Alvaro and Luna.

"My condition is not good, the doctor said I had typhus. Now I'm at home. What's wrong Dam?" Alvaro asked while leaning on the sofa.

"I just saw the condition of Rama, he still doesn't want to say anything. Tiara has tried to make Rama back to normal. It seems that Rama is under too much torture and pressure, so he still can't accept reality." Damien said explaining Rama's condition after receiving an explanation from Tiara.

"Where are you now?" Alvaro asked while wiping the sweat that kept dripping from his forehead.

"I'm at Tiara's apartment, I'll be home soon." Damien said while looking at Tiara who was so concerned about cleaning Rama's body.

"Don't go to Tiara's apartment often, it is very dangerous for Tiara and Rama if the enemy finds out that Rama is in Tiara's apartment. You should contact Tiara to find out Rama's condition. We have to wait for Rama to fully recover from his wounds and trauma." said Alvaro reminding Damien of Tiara and Rama's safety.

"You're right Al, okay I'll be home soon. Besides, I promised Luna to come over to her house tonight." Damien said unintentionally, making Alvaro curious.

"Did Luna ask you to come?" Alvaro asked the more pain in his heart.

"No really, just now I contacted Luna why she didn't come back to the office. She said he was busy at home because there was a three-day event Zenita. I offered to help her in case my strength was needed there. It turned out that Luna happily accepted it. Let's just say I'm in the process of approaching, I want to get to know Luna more closely. I'm curious about Luna, Al." said Damien honestly. It was obvious from Damien's tone of voice that his heart was happy.

"I hope you have good intentions with that approach Dan. Don't let Luna become part of the game of the women you've had sex with." Alvaro said in a low but stressed voice.

"Hey.. Dude!! what say?? do you already know my background?" Damien asked a little offended by what Alvaro said even though some of what Alvaro said was true and some was not.

"Not only knowing the background, but I already know everything you did in your past. I don't mind you approaching Luna, but not by hurting her." Alvaro said that he had investigated Damien's background after finding out that Damien was his work partner. Including investigating Damien's loyalty to work and all his activities.

"I was so flattered that you investigated me like that Al. What's the reason you want to know all that?" Damian asked wanting to hear Alvaro's honesty.

"I need to know everyone who will be my work partner. I don't want to be betrayed a second time which will not only endanger my life but can destroy the secret of the duty of the country." Alvaro said without hiding anything.

"After knowing all that, what do you think about me? Do you still believe in me?" Damien asked earnestly.

"If I didn't believe you, we wouldn't have worked until now. I would have refused to work with you from the start. But not with women's issues, you can approach other women I don't care. But you have to be careful to approach Luna because it's the same as you are dealing with me." said Alvaro firmly positioning himself as a close friend who was responsible for Luna's happiness.

"I'm curious, what's the reason you said that to me? did you two have a relationship before you hooked up with Zenita?" Damien asked suspiciously.

"Nothing, I'm just talking as the closest person to Luna's family. I'm partly responsible for Luna's happiness. And I don't want you to destroy Luna's happiness." said Alvaro earnestly.

"All right, Al, we'll see. I'm also not sure Luna can like me or not. Okay Al, see you later at Luna's house." Damien said casually closing the call.

"Why are you two even discussing Luna? why not discuss Rama?" Tiara asked approaching Damien who was getting ready to go home.

"Just ask Alvaro, why did he take it seriously when I said he would approach Luna?" Damien said calmly while wearing his jacket.

"You guys are all the same, can't stay away from women. You just like it, the most important thing is not to mix it up with work problems." said Tiara, reminding them of their duties which could be fatal if personal problems were involved.

"Don't worry, I work professionally and I'm sure Alvaro is like that too. Everything will be fine. Please contact me when Rama can speak." Damien said with a charming smile.

Tiara swallowed her saliva when she saw Damien's smile that would easily thrill every woman, including Luna.

"Just be careful Al, this time your rival is real. He has good looks, and a smile that easily melts a woman's heart." said Tiara with a smile she couldn't imagine how Alvaro would react if Damien really fell in love with Luna.
