After Arthur left, Calvin remarked, "Uncle Arthur is kinda nice."
"Well, he is nice and strict according to the situation." Keeping the certificate inside her bag, Ava added, "Unlike mom who is bossy all the time."
"Uh huh, I don't think your mom likes me."
"Why does she have to like you? It's not like she has to spend the rest of her life with you. All she had to do is at least tolerate you, that is enough." Wrapping her arms around his waist, she smiled, "You just have to care about me, if someday I stop liking you then that is something you have to worry about."
Pulling her closer, he raised his brows, "What did you just say?"
"I said—ahh Cal stop." Pushing him away, she tried to run away but he tightened his grip around her waist and kept tickling her stomach.
"So you will stop liking me."
"No, I won't—please stop."
