Chapter 2

After falling over a lot he finally got used to walking around with this new body. He adapted much faster than usual because he had much higher dexterity and agility than a normal human. After getting used to walking he started to walk to where the wind was coming from.

As he was walking he saw the trees they were simply terrifying they were a ruby-like red and were as sharp a steel spear. So he walked up to the tree and snapped off a long branch to use as a spear Then he continued walking. As he was walking he noticed that the trees were holding mummified demon corpses that had all their blood sucked out. He started wondering why they did not attack him then he realized that it was because of his race. His race had a special body that made him have poison blood.

So he walked up to a tree to test it out. He cut his finger on the branch to see what would happen. The branch started to notably wither. When he saw this he knew why the trees avoided him. So he walked up to one of the drained demons and ripped their meat because that could be used as food. But first, he used to inspect on the branch and flesh.

[Item name: Dried demon flesh

Description: Dried demon flesh causes mild corruption in beings that do not have any demonic heritage. If eaten by a demon it will not have any side effects.]

[Item name: Bloodletting tree branch

Description: This branch is from a bloodletting tree. because it is dead it will not suck out the blood like a healthy bloodletting tree and will only make it so that the person cut by this cant regenerate.]

(Hmm... so this will make it so that the wound cant regenerate... interesting this is pretty useful. I can also store up on this dried demon flesh.)

So he started ripping the dried flesh off the demos and some of their bones and continued to explore. After a few hours of walking, he finally saw a river. The river was a dark red color so decided to inspect it first.

[Item name: Liquid demonic essence

Description: Due to many deaths of demonic beings in the area the Demonic essence has liquefied. If a non-demonic creature drinks it they will become corrupted if they fail to find a cure If a demon drinks it they will get a small increase in mana.

As he read it he first became worried but when he saw that it was safe for demons he began to drink it. It was slightly thicker than normal water and felt warm. As he drank it he felt as if something inside him increased so he started to search for it and asked his system what it was.

[That would be your mana due to you drinking demonic essence it increased.]

After hearing that he asked the system what he could do with it.
