Chapter 17

One week after the underground empire invaded Zeberakh the human government had started building up defenses and creating more weapons. The so-called demon attacked in hordes and used strange energy that they manipulated to create fire and ice. The humans then took demon corpses and found out that they had the energy coursing through their veins.

One month after the demons attacked some humans were able to use this energy and became superhumanly strong these humans were called awakeners. These awakeners had different energy from the demons while the demons had vile demonic energy the humans had more neutral energy. There even existed some awakeners that had different colors.

One year after the demons attacked the demons finished researching the plasma rifles and made their size gigantic and enhanced them with mana making them deadly plasma canons. These canons could blast through buildings like it was nothing. Now demons had taken over a large part of the planet and the future was looking bleak for the humans. But then the humans learned a Tier 1 holy spell. It might sound weak but when combined with the plasma rifles they destroyed demons left and right. The people who awakened the holy attribute were used as soldiers to shot down the demons. But the demons were also becoming stronger coping and upgrading human weapons.

There were now 5 paladins or what the humans called titans that had moved to Zeberakh and we're now using 10m tall plasma cannons to kill the humans and steal their technology and land.

Five years after the invention the demons had stolen some vital technology and developed AI that they used as a supercomputer making them able to upload massive amounts of secret technology. The titans now knew about most things on this planet and started to use corruption bombs. Basically nuclear weapons but instead of radiation it was corrupted mana. This made them able to wipe out most non-awakened humans by corrupting them.

After this, most of the remaining humans used a spaceship to fly to another planet. After this, the demons stole all the technology and started to develop annihilation weapons. They made 10m portable railguns that shot corruption magic. These were then given to the paladins. After this, the demons started to move from their home planet to this one because it was much harder to attack.

Seven years after the invasion the demons had moved their capital to Zeberakh and mostly used their old base as a mining facility and trading post. After this, they made the portal heavily guarded and closed with giant Mana-steel doors. After this, they started to mine out the planet.

Ten years after their colonization they had followed out the upper part of the mantle of the planet and began using it as living quarters. The demons had also developed more magic tech and were advancing their studies in it. While this was happening the humans had started on a new planet and created books on the invasion. The humans we're developing fast and were vying for revenge.

As this was happening Lukas had hacked into the supercomputer and put in a virus that would constantly give him information on what was happening on Zeberakh. Lukas copied all technology from the demons and was using it to get information. On everything that was happening in the world. He had developed a "hobby" that was manipulating and watch the demons as they grow.
