Chapter 4 : Allen

**Knock **Knock

Somebody knocked the door of the private room. Without a doubt it must be waiters coming with our order.

" Come in " I replied helplessly while 'Mini' was looking forward to it. 

After hearing my affirmation, one of the waiters opened the door and they walked in. 

Verifying with my own eyes how much food 'Mini' has ordered in comparison to me, I was astonished even after listening to her order beforehand. 

Ignoring me, who was acting reserved 'Mini' took a random dishes from the table and started to devour it just like a person who hasn't seen good food in ages. 

" Hey slow down... that's 100,000 credit points" It wasn't my voice that inaudible but she completely ignored me who had to pay the bill out of my very own pockets, directly decreasing my fortune by 10%.

I could do nothing beside to look at her, my body was stiff on the sight of a 'lady' finishing one dish after another at a gap of less than 30 seconds. 

I picked up my sour chicken and took a small bite, amazed as I could feel a strange power probably mana flowing from my mouth to the rest of body. This was so warm and comfortable like some burden was taken off from my shoulders. I was about to moan in pleasure with this sudden surge of comfort but a hand slowly approach my plate. 

" This is a mana embedded chicken, your body probably can't handle the energy inside it. It would be better if you pass this one to me lest the food will..Ouch " 

I slapped her hand in an attempt to protect my dinner. 

Mini as a foodie was so angry at me for not sharing my food that she stood up and picked her blazer from the side, as she walked towards the door and a waitress opened it for her to walk out. 

" Miss, about the bill ? " The guide lady briefly stopped her, looking at me with a sly smile. 

" I won't be the one paying it. Anyways that guy is also a rich dude, he will be able to afford this much." Mini replied angrily as she disappeared from my sight after exiting.

I was watching all of this with a chill running down to my spine. I was not angry at Mini or something but I slapped her with the aim to make her angry and leave me knowing she has a habit of treating food with only people dear to her and she disappointed me with her actions stating we aren't familiar at all. 

It's obvious why would a female student will appear in the direction of male dorms unless someone has instigated her to do something, and with Mini's carefree character it wasn't a difficult thing at all. 

" I have seen her before " I had noticed 'her' as soon as we entered the restaurant. 

By 'her' I mean the guide who took us to our private room. I have definitely meet her before but I can't remember where exactly. It may be around some other male lead or original female heroines. 

I was sure of being under monitoring of other party as her eyes "accidentally" meet mine several time in a row.

First time, she gave me a harmless smile 

Second time, she winked her eyes as trying to confirm something to which I acted unresponsive. 

But after Third time... 

" Kimochi !! " I closed my eyes, with a hand on my cheek as I saviours the delicious taste and the comfy feeling brought by my sour chicken.

I saved the useless stuff for later. I had to be atleast full to keep my brain at it's best condition. So, I just pick one chicken piece after another replenishing my energy to full. 

After finishing my meal I was about to leave but the guide girl stopped me "Sir, your bill isn't paid yet" She showed a white printed paper as she looks at me with a mockery. "Truth to be told, Today's menu has a 5% additional price on every dish you order. I know you would be displeased with price increment but it's a unwritten privilege for the private restaurant just on the night of entrance ceremony."

Killing intent took over my mind when she asked for extra inch of gold from my small treasury. 

Just as I was about to open my mouth to say something a violent aura rushes over to our side, sending the tables and chairs flying in the opposite direction. Thankfully, it bypass me and restaurant staff dodge it with minimum moment. 

" Who cancelled my booking ?" 

Suddenly, a voice came from not far away with the emergence of a colossal man on the doorsteps. His lips were bloodstains and his whole body recks of alcohol. He was as tall 6'9" with scarlet red hair and azure blue eyes. 

The restaurant staff turned to him and felt thier blood boiling for some reason.

" Allen.....The Surthur " The guide lady exclaimed.

" Well, there is no end to my damn popularity." The colossal man with red hair and a scar on his right eyes was annoyed, wiping the lips with his thumb he said. "Maybe, I have killed too many monsters to be go remained unnoticed."

Among the existing students, Allen was ranked in top 5 for battle prowess. His dual awakening as a warrior and fire mage grants him terrifying physique and magical resistance, which he used to develop his very own move, fire giant transformation also know as, The Surthur. 

" But I guess you aren't a genuine fan of mine to do something insolent as cancelling my pre-booked private room for no apparent reason" Allen questioned, waving his fist in the void. His hand turned scorching red, just like magma full of destructive energy. 

Dozens of waiter felt their knees soft, an urge to run away out of instincts took over anything else, only two people were standing fearlessly one was me and the other being the guide lady. 

Seeing this, Allen appeared to have confusion on his face which soon turned into a harmless smile as he gazes at the ID card hanging down from my neck... The mad lunatic who is known for his bloodthirsty nature has become gentle for some reason. 

Cancelling the partial transformation, he stepped closer to me.

" Luther were you here to dine with Mini ? What food you guys ordered? Also, where is she ?"

' How did this guy know this ? '

For a split second, I run my brain circuit as fast as I could and understood something - Allen was an admirer of Mini's father, the strongest warrior alive, it must be normal for him to stalk her for a private meeting request or something, right ?

" It's my honour to be recognised by senior Allen" I bowed at a 45° angle with my right hand against my chest. "Senior Mini has just left not long ago"

" She just left ? What a loss " His smile dim a little on the mentioned of "Just" then, he took out a card from his pocket with Sacred Lotus Academy emblem and passed it onto the guide.

" I will be the one paying for their meal. " My eyes gathered at his card which was different from my plain white, a special black card with golden strips, available only to students with excellent performance in their respective classes.

The guide said with a rather ugly face. "Sir, this meal would cost 105,000 no..with your special discount 95,000 credit points are you sure ? "

I could hear a gulp coming from Allen's mouth, if rumours about him aren't wrong then, he is a commoner's child with little financial backing.

There was no need for him to use 100,000 credit points for a overnight meal. Even with preferential treatment this was a huge sum, enough for him to eat for 2-3 weeks. Not to mention, his credits are earned by him through actual monster hunting.

Looking at me, he smiled apologetically. I could understand his situation but that was none of my business. Every one has difficulties but that doesn't mean you can promise someone without thinking.

Raising my phone, I motioned the guide lady to take payment to which, she responded immediately. It was as if she fear I would regret my decision and gave up on payment. What a sly woman.

"Luther....That..I" Allen appears to be apologetic to me.

"Senior Allen, I was wondering if you could show me around the campus next time, we meet." I press my hand forward.

My words surely lighten up the atmosphere as Allen reciprocated my words by shaking his hands with mine.

"Sure. And it would be my treat when both of us hang out. A boy's only. You know."

"Hahah, as you wish."

We both laughed and head back for dorms leaving a female staring at us with meaningful eyes.

Honestly, I would love to let her have a taste of her own medicine. But it would be a story for next time.
