New Commander in charge

The new commander was scrutinizing the army. Every men in the Jembu army was well trained. They were strong both physically and mentally. Each one was equivalent to ten men.He was very happy to get the army under his control.

But it was not only the army he wanted. He wanted princess Kikiyo. Day by day his thoughts grew worse. Prince Johnson was completely mesmerised by her beauty. He tried approaching her several times but he was turned down. She didn't even care to talk to him.

She was always on guard when he was around. Even if Lord Johnson tried to start a conversation with her, she would simply answer his questions and speak nothing more. She hated Lord Philip and his son more than anything in this world.

King Philip came to know his son's motives and warned him several times that his intentions will cause a lot of problems. He feared that it will unnecessarily create chaos in the kingdom and the people's support will fall on Kikiyo's side. So he disagreed with his son's interest.
