Chapter Eighteen: He Hurt Her

Aiden stared at Dolph with an inexplicable emotion in his eyes "I won't do it, I won't risk her life again" he said calmly and the red in Dolph's eyes became visible.

He was enraged.

"You f*cking psychopath! Why did you even tell her in the first place only to have her memory wiped later?! What if she forgot her whole existence, huh?! What would you have done then?!" He yelled angrily at Aiden who didn't flinch a bit.

But deep down, Aiden knew Dolph was right.

What if she really forgot everything about herself and her life from when she was born? How would he be able to cope with that and live with himself?

He sighed and glanced at Valerie who stood in between them, looking as confused as ever. She looked so innocent and dainty that he felt guilty when he remembered what he did. But he couldn't take it back.

What was done was done.

"What is going on?" Her soft voice jilted him out of his reverie and he gazed at her puzzled face "What are you guys talking about?"
