Meeting the Death God

Well after sending Ran back Nitin started thinking about ways to find him as it seems that he has disappeared in the past too but not much longer but now it's been 3 days.

Nitin's head started hurting as he doesn't know where to start his investigation and how to find the elusive fellow as he doesn't leave many tracks to start an investigation if he doesn't want to be found out, so he just kept things aside first and he thought of cleaning the rest of the rooms before thinking about anything

Well before starting the investigation, it is better to sort out my house and change it according to my needs and habits. so first clean the house than any other topics.

After cleaning the remaining part of the house he felt weak all over the body like there is no strength in the body, then he remembered that this body had bled a lot before I occupied the body, so the body may be lacking nutrients now so the thing needs to be done is to eat and fill my body as just after waking up he had started dusting and cleaning the house before eating anything.

As he thought of eating he remembered that this body doesn't know how to cook and even he knows he can cook he can't as all the knowledge other than this body has become foggy as he only gets as much skill the owner has in his repertoire and the owner only spends his days eating cup noodles or going to Ran's house to eat and in the kitchen, there are only 2-3 packet cup noodles so he ignored them and thought about going outside to eat something and then start investigating about Shinichi Kudo disappearance.

As Nitin thought about going outside he remembered that he is still wearing the same dirty cloth from the morning and after cleaning the house and office the white shirt started looking like a rag so he first went to bath and after bathing, he opened the wardrobe and saw that there were only white shirts and black pants along with a black suit so he also wore them as he also liked the black and white color the most.

After wearing the clothes and grooming himself Nitin went out to eat, as soon he came down from the building he saw a Ramen stall on the left side so he went to eat ramen as per his memories as he is the regular customer of the shop.

While eating ramen he also started thinking about where to start looking for Shinichi Kudo, so he thought first go look at Shinichi's house and then Professor Agasa as I don't know why I feel something off about him as to why Dr. Agasa is stopping Ran from reporting about the missing Shinichi to Police so let's ask him the reason before doing anything.

As soon he made his mind he started to move, but first, he finished the 3 bowls of Ramen and paid the bill, and went to Shinichi's house to start his investigation as if he were back he would be here first.

As you would all be wondering why this body doesn't live at Shinichi's house then the answer is quite simple as this body thought living in a detective agency will help him the work for 24 hours as he thinks what if some people come at the middle of the night and give him some clues about his parent's case and the most important one I fought against Tōsan and Kāsan about going back to Japan instead of staying at the Los Angeles and investigating remotely so it became like this.

As Nitin remembered about the fight his heart also started aching as not apologizing for them was the biggest regret of his life before dying as they have raised him like his own child after his parent's death and never discriminated against him and even also loved him more than his own child but last time he met he hasn't talked to them because of that fight.

Nitin also reassured him it will fulfill his wish at the moment and also at the same time he accepted all the memories, feeling, wishes, desires, and duties that came with his body and also promised the soul that he will complete all the things he wants to do as other than completing the mission he will live the fullest instead of running out of this cycle as it never ends for me so instead of destroying it I started enjoying it.

The moment he accepted all these things he felt a cool feeling washing over his body as now he felt his body completely his own and the fluffy feeling from the morning is also gone and the body can be moved freely and also at the same time when he embraced all his feeling, the last lingering sentiment of the owner also vanished along with him.

As Nitin is enjoying this he also closed his eyes and kept walking towards Shinichi's house and the moment he opened his eyes he found himself standing in front of Shinichi's house.

Nitin also had worry about Shinichi as he has been not in the home for 3 days if ever was he will call me and most important thing his mainline mission is all about Shinichi Kudo.

Nitin first rang the bell couple of minutes and seeing that no one will open the door he went inside and searched the house all the places where Shinichi might have left a clue for him as he usually does if he goes to solve the case.

But even after searching the whole house and not even finding a single clue he also started having a heavy heart.

Nitin left the house and went next door to Professor Agasa's house as to why he didn't let Ran report to the police about the missing Shinichi.

Nitin rang the doorbell and after a while door was swung open and 40-50 years old an average size man with a slightly overweight frame. Looking somewhat older than his actual age, he is bald on the top of his head with the rest of his hair silver. He sports thick eyebrows and a mustache and a somewhat bulbous nose. He wears round glasses and is wearing his lab attire.

Seeing Nitin standing on the door Agasa got surprised and said smilingly

" Nitin-kun it's been a while"

" Hakase It's been a while too"

" So Nitin-kun what are you doing here"

" Hakase Ran came to me and talked about how Shinichi has disappeared for three days and also told me how you wouldn't allow her to go to the police to file a missing report. "

As soon as Agasa heard about it his face changed and a twitch can be seen on the corner of his mouth and inwardly thought well I can calm Ran but I don't think I can pacify this guy as he will do what he thinks is right like a bull so it's better to consult Shinichi and see what he wanna do now.

So Agasa smiled and said in a low voice

" It's not a good place to talk, Come inside and talk "

Seeing Agasa like this Nitin also felt something was indeed wrong with Shinichi and Ran is right so Nitin also entered the house and saw a small boy is sitting on the sofa and fidgeting something.

Seeing the boy Nitin also smiled and said

" Hakase I didn't know you had a kid, Is it yours, when did you get married? "

Hearing Nitin's question Agasa nearly fell on the ground but still replied calmly secretly wiping his sweat.

"well I will tell you about this too in a while"

Hearing the voice from behind the boy also looked behind and after hearing the question he also secretly wipe the sweat for Agasa

Seeing that Hakase isn't going to share anything Nitin also lost his mood and went to sit down on the sofa and said

" Hakase tell me where is Shinichi now and I am not Ran. If you don't give me a proper answer I will go to the police station to file a missing person report."

Hearing Nitin's words Agasa also dropped all the excuses that he has popped up in his mind to dodge the question and divert his mind from Shinichi and looked at the boy sitting there and at the same time boy also looked at the Agasa.

After seeing Agasa looking at himself, the boy also nodded his indicating something but Nitin doesn't notice all these as his observation is very poor.

So Nitin kept looking at Agasa, but seeing that Agasa is contemplating something and turned towards the boy who was sitting in front of him is the 6-7-year-old boy has dark brown hair which mostly hangs downwards just above his blue eyes, but there are also a few strands that stick up at the front and back of his head. His outfit consists of a blue blazer with a single button and a pair of shorts, red trainers, and white socks.

Looking at the Kid Nitin smiled warmly and asked

" What's your name kid"

Seeing Nitin start a conversation with the boy, Agasa also stopped talking and became a spectator like watching a good play and stifled his smile and replied hurriedly

" His name is Edogawa Conan "

Seeing that Hakase replied instead of the kid

" Nitin raised his head asked

" Hakase is he mute ?"

Seeing Nitin's pity face and Agasa trying to contain his smile kid got enraged and looked at Nitin with glaring eyes and shouted loudly

" Both of you shut up I am not some mute and neither am I a kid"

"I can speak and I am Kudo Shinichi"

"What?"
