As a freestyle match the referee once more told them that they can use whatever means they have on these matches whether cheating or using highly advance spell was allowed, the only restriction was no killing
With those instructions on the way both Shun and Cedric walked over at their designated place opposite of the side of the arena
As they were walking away from each other, the spectators however were mixed with different types of people
Some were bored, some already has fallen asleep, some were messaging their friends or lovers through somekimd of a device, some has openly showing off their love life's by being flirty, some were observing the fight while planning to take notes of it, some were just curious on how the fight will go, while some are getting their pick, and lastly some were serious as they watched closely to the match that they felt they would see so.thimg amazing will happen
Seeing both Shun and Cedric facing off, they're companions or acquaintances begun to watch the match closely
This includes the whole beta class as shun was the only one left for their class since he haven't fought yet
With each step they take, the suspense from the match begun to spread all over the arena as everyone's inside of it became affected and various people begun to observe quietly on the last match of the day
Upon seeing such Oppressive atmosphere, even the professors and instructors were at a loss of words when they felt the seriousness not only coming from the two participants but also to the whole crowd that was watching
"Looks like the participants managed to influence the whole crowd" said one of the instructors
"Isn't that fun? That could only mean one thing... We'll be able to see something amazing this time" said the other
"They're presence alone made me gave them a A plus grade, after all influence is important for the joint tournament" said another instructor

As the professors and instructors begun to discuss such topics the referee started the countdown as he saw both participants was ready
"Ready.... Battle start!!!"
But even thought the match has already started, both Shun and Cedric just kept staring at each other as if they were waiting for each other to move first, thus their battle begun from the psychological match as they observe their opponent's movements
Still even though this happened, none of the students dared to make a noice since they were clearly smart enough to k ow that the match has already started, even the professors and instructors were amazed on how the match started form a psychological battle
As if in sync both Shun and Cedric moved as both of them formed their weapon
Cedric begun to conjured Mana sword on both of his hands, while Shun took out his Stormrazor from his storage.and equipped it
With a single breath Cedric made the first move as he charged in towards Shun with the intention to lessen the distance against each other
In response to this Shun inhaled a mouthful of air before breathing out a huge flame towards Cedric
"Flame Breath!!!"
Naturally against nthis Cedric begun chanting his own spell and countered Shun's skill by slashing upwards with great force
Due to that the flame was split in the middle as he used this space to release his spell with another downward slash
"Sword impact!!!"
With a raging wave of sword attack that blew everything away that it passes, Shun positioned himself properly on the ground as he reaches for his storm razor and swung it sideways
"Wind wall!!!"
Immediately a huge upwards stream of wind appeared infront of him and countered Cedric attack before completely nullifying it
Due to the two spells collision a huge wave soon slammed against everyrone as their hair flutters in the wind due to its force
With the sword on it's shoulder Shun dashed towards his target among the dust of cloud
"Sweeping Blade!"
As for Cedric he immediately spread his Mana all over the 30 diameter radius to locate Shun wherever he may appear
At that exact time shun appeared from above and was ready to deliver the first strike, but Cedric himself foresaw that move and delivered numerous sword waves at him
"Shunpo!"
With another skill from Shun he quickly blinked and landed behind his opponent as he swung his sword
Realizing this Cedric's eyes soon glowed bright yellow as he begun to move really fast and twisted his body before meeting Shun's attack with his sword
As the two swords made impact, the shockwaves that was produced upon it scattered the dust everywhere thus revealing their situation for everyone to see
Due to its force and differ in strength Cedric's hands became numb, while Shun's foot sunk below the ground which surprised even himself
"Warrior Trickster!"
Quickly Shun created 20 copies of himself which overwhelmed the crowd and started attacking Cedric from all sides
With that a battle broke out on the arena as sword after sword clashed against each other
Of course with swift movement Cedric was.able to kill some of clones as they puffed into smoke
The battle was chaotic on the arena that even brought pressure for the crowd upon seeing that Cedric was holding all of the clones off all by himself
Not long after cuts and bruises could be seen across Cedric's body as he blood trickled down his lips bit with a slash he killed the remaining clones in one hit, this making him turn his attention at the original as he made his move and rose his Mana to a higher level
"Sword Intent Rain!!!"
As if responding to him numerous sword fell from the sky which darkened the whole sky above the arena
This in turn made everyone in the crowd turn pale upon seeing this, thus they immediately cower in fear when they gaze at Cedric the prince of their kingdom
As for Shun he once again used Windwall, but for some reason Cedric easily nullified such skill, thus he was forced to keep Stormrazor and pull out both I.E and Statik
With dual blades he then used his high specs status to counter every sword falling from the sky and imagined them as the army of Wukong overwhelming him with numbers
With a slash he countered the first blade, and with another slash he countered another one, soon he begun to move in rapid succession as he flipped, summersault, twist, spin, and do tricks to aid himself from moving to quickly and make the right stop, shift, and turn
Not only that due to the numbers Shun was forced to insert more effort as he moved in a amazing rapid succession of speed which inturn turned blurry to how fast he moved just to defend himself from all those swords
"Haaaaahhhhh!!!!!!"
With a battle cry coming from Shun, add it with his bloodshot eyes, bleeding figure, and disheveled hair Shun once more top up more speed as his senses reaches the current maximum degree
Seeing this the whole academy was on suspense as they looked at their respective screens and see Shun struggle for the first time for everyone except Sephiria
Sephiria has seen such Shun before during adventuring so she put much hope for him to win, but in this match she couldn't even help but worry
With that she clasped her hands together as she watched the fight
Even the professors and instructors were.on the edge of their seat when they was how Shun counters everyswords with just pure speed and power, which even made the sword instructors pump up as they wanted to experience such thrill
With a grit Shun one by one countered the swords as his eyes moved so fast as if he was looking at different angles in such high speed that was comparable to the speed of flash that seemed to have stopped the time when observing his surroundings
With a breath he once again launched a rapid succession of slashes to counter everything with another speed impossible to recreate
Soon a large shockwave shook the arena the blown everything away causing the shockwaves to slammed against the barrier and creating a crack due to it's force which surprised the licensed mages
Even Cedric was surprised from the development and readied himself once more
As for Shun he then finally became serious as his hands begun to bleed and his hair finally out of place which made him look like he have bangs over his other eye and only having one sharp eye gaze at Cedric
Not only that for some reason his aura changed from the aloof person to a serious guy who have his time slightly domeanering just by looking at Cedric the same way he look at the boss monsters
"So you survived! I'm impressed" said Cedric
"I know... Now it's my turn, prepare yourself... Prince" said Shun cooly
With that a book appeared as it flipped rapidly beside Shun, this in turn shocked everyone as this was the first time they saw Shun serious and a new ability of his to be presented to the whole academy
With a breath he calmly muttered
"Summon!"
