Chapter 240: The Issue With The Exchange Students III
[Gritonnia Academy]
A day after the talk with Selene Knotch in the library regarding the issue within her group, both of them then approached Cedric as Shun retold Selene's problem and asked him to do some little provocation to people backing the exchange student.
Naturally the response from him was a little bit hesitant since this matter of involving people in power in a struggle between students is something out of line of ethic between students. After all it was like calling upon a parent to mediate a fight between children and even showing bias to one side. It was both a slap to the faces of students who will soon become adults and somewhat dishonor.
However Shun says otherwise since the solution they can provide for this situation is limited. Plus none of them have enough influence to actually force the opposition to submit unto the will of people of higher ranking. After all in this academy there are no rankings in students, noble title holds no meaning here, everyone is equal.
Due to that notion, the academy itself somewhat became harmonized and respectful with each other no matter what status in life a student has into the society. Once a student has gradated from the academy, he or she would still be able to carry on his or her conduct from school to real life due to being an alumni in this said academy.
Gritonnia Academy is one of the six renowned academy which had the highest reputation within the kingdom and due to their reputation, the students who graduated to such school were also regarded as people of higher respect, thus the saying "Once a student of the Gritonnia , will always be a student of Gritonnia academy6".
Of course naturally there are some student within the academy who took the equality provided for them for granted. In some times , there are bullies' and abusers within the campus. Such a thing was unavoidable since not all students are the same and held the honor of the academy in high regards.
Of course in that situation, the student council of the academy are held responsible for the discipline of the students alongside the disciplinary committee of the academy. But despite such group of people, people somewhat always find a loop hole within the system.
The moment Shun gave Cedric his piece of mind and what he has in mind, Cedric the reluctantly accepted his proposal which was immediately taken action after the talk.
The process became like this. First off Cedric talked directly towards the principal regarding the concern and retold what Shun had told him and t6he only probable solution regarding the problem within the exchange students. If such problem were taken care off in time, the exchange student may cause irreversible damage to the academy and even taint the honor of their knight academy.
After a long persuasive talk, the principal finally conceded as he accepted the idea of having a deep talk with the principal of the knight academy in the frontier regarding the behavior and attitude of the exchange students. After all in this way, the principal could also check the status of the students he had sent to the frontier for this exchange student program.
Two days later the principal of the Gritonnia academy then left the school grounds in order to have a meeting with the principal of the knight academy. After that, at a day after the meeting between two principals, the exchange students were called for reporting by the use of video transmission, as the principal of the knights academy in the frontier scold the students who dared to even cause trouble in the Gritonnia academy. With that, it didn't take long for everything to settle down from this problem.
However this peace didn't take long as the exchange students figured out who snitched them to the principal and from that day forward, the exchange students have a mixed feeling in regards to Selene as the person who snitched them.
"Hey! Are you okay?" asked by Shun as he saw Selene all alone in the garden bench of the academy.
Apparently after finding out who snitched at them, the exchange student group begun viewing Selene as different and somewhat started to exclude her from any activity within their group. Of course they still listen to her as a representative of the exchange student group, but such respect only reaches up to that. Any fun activity within the group were kept to themselves and left Selene out of everything that is not part of the exchange student program. In other words, she was isolated.
"Of course I'm okay! why wouldn't i be?" asked by Selene
"Well for one i know that you are being isolated by the people who you tried to correct... they are just a group of ungrateful bitches"
" I know... but they are the only group i can rely in this program"
"Yes! the respect only stretches out in this program but any other than, you are petty much being bullied the same"
" i wouldn't call it being bullied, plus all i have to do is to endure this treatment till the end of the program and have my life return to what it was the moment i go back to my own knight academy"
"Do you really think that this treatment wouldn't be the same if you go back to your knight academy? I think it will follow you back and create an issue even greater since the program itself wouldn't be restricting them anymore... If you don't handle this issue now, i believe this issue would you back and make your school life a living hell back to the frontier where you came from"
"Then what should you suggest we should do?"
"I don't know... maybe showing your superiority at this time?"
"I don't think that's a good idea"
"Well you need to set them straight one way or another and show them that your not to be trifled with... just give it a try"
"Show them who's boss huh? I'll think about it"
With that both of them gave out a hearty laughter as they gave each other a high five as a resemblance that they have an amicable relationship[ with each other. unknown to Shun he then somehow acquired powerful ally in the future due to his interaction with Selene alone.
With that said and done, it was now then time for the midterms to arrive.
