Chapter 209: The Final Draw II

With Ornn going on a rampage, his series of movements then became predictable, As Adelfried took this chance to slowly suppress Ornn's attacks with his own rapid series of attack. After a continuous clash between a hammer and a spear for about the 40th time, Adelfried then suddenly umped his Aura to another degree which blasted Ornn off his feet with a single shockwave and force him to crash on his back.

The moment that happened, Adelfried then took a huge leap into the air as he landed on top of Ornn and begun riddling him with attack using magic enhanced by the Aquasphere.

"Needle rain!!!"

Under his control, all the rain drops falling down from the sky then suddenly halted as it all begun to morphed into a needle shape and rushed towards Ornn like an endless bullet. Due to its enhancement, each raindrop then contains power and force which is equivalent to a wrecking ball hitting a person's body. With that Ornn was fully suppressed unto the ground as he laid powerless and unable to even hit back towards his opponent.

However that simply didn't end there. At the same time while he was being riddled by heavy attacks all over his body, Adelfried then simultaneously gathered power unto the tip of his spear which caused his aura to form a drill like effect unto the spear's tip as he thrusted it downwards towards Ornn's head.

"Water Piercer!!!"

With one thrust followed by a huge explosion which shook the earth, Ornn then lifelessly laid on the ground, as Adelfried's attack had literally pierced through his body's dexterity and hit his fatal area. Unable to even utter a single word, Ornn's body slowly disintegrate into mana particles as Shun's remaining summon was taken down for good.

With Ornn's death, Adelfried stood in the middle of the destruction as he let the heavy rain itself to pour down on him and wash away his fatigue. But despite killing the humungous monster, the battle wasn't over yet, as Shun quickly rushes in upon Ornn's death and swung his Rage blade together with his Serpent fang toward Adelfried himself.

However before his weapon could even its intended target, a shockwave the erupted out of Adelfried which blew away Shun for quite a distance and give a chance for the former to position himself and charge forward. In a single breath, Adelfried arrived before Shun as he thrusted his spear forwards which was only barely blocked by Shun using his Serpent fang.

Unfortunately despit6e blocking it, Adelfried simply blew Shun away once more using only his pure strength, before coming in close once again and proceeded to attack using the spear. This type of pattern lasted for quite awhile, as Shun tried his best to either dodge or block Adelfried's attack. However no matter what he do, the person himself would always blow him away using only force and repeat the cycle once more.

In that moment somewhere around their 12th cycle, Shun finally made a misstep as Adelfried's spear came in closer as it got thrusted forward without any hesitation at all. But before the spear could even reach Shun, a mysterious person suddenly appeared behind him as it teleported Shun away together with it using some kind of a skill connected to space manipulation.

After that shocking instant escape causing Adelfried to miss its target by a hair's breath, sound of cannon shot rung out from afar as it shells literally bombarded him and forcing him to create a barrier around his body. Apparently the moment Shun got out of the way, Captain Kalego finally made his move as he used his own magic and begun attacking Adelfried from a distance with force enough to actually take down a fortress.

Upon seeing his figure from afar, Adelfried squinted his eyes into a slit as he felt annoyed from the interference he had received multiple times within this battle. Without further ado, he then begun forming a magic circle unto his hand with an intent to actually shoot down Captain Kalego from a distance. However in comparison to a magic formation and casting, Captain Kalego's attack was way much faster than activating a spell. Just before Adelfried could gather mana unto his palm, Captain Kalego bombarded him once more, forcing him to forego his plans and instead create a mobile auto barrier around him.

Who knew that by the moment captain Kalego's bombardment come to an end, Numerous knights and soldiers sprung out from the trees around him as they all rushed towards the only remaining enemy of the kingdom itself. As long as they manage to take down Adelfried then the battle between the kingdom and the cult would then come to an end. With that in mind, those knights and soldier fearlessly attack him despite the differences in power.

Seeing that an actual army was before him with an intent to actually end the battle between the cult and the kingdom, Adelfried then stances himself once more as he begun his attack and swept up the whole battlefield. No matter who the enemy is or how many they are, as long as he survives, the battle would not end. Using his spear, Adelfried razed the kingdom's formation as he got inside their numbers and begun taking them down from within.

With a single swing of his spear, about 2 to three soldiers were taken down at the same time either injured or dead. No matter what none of the soldier's swords were able to even touch his clothes, as Adelfried continued hi8s spree within their formation.

In that moment the knights then started to intervenes, as some were able to successfully block his attack using their shields, while some begun attacking him from another direction using their swordplay. Since knights and soldiers have a different level of difficulty and mastery to the sword, the knights proved to be quite a troublesome opponent as a huge squad of knights surrounded him and begun their attack.

However the knights were only troublesome, nothing more, nothing less. In face of a person wielding the power of the Aquasphere, the knight were simply insignificant people in comparison to the unique people he had fought a awhile ago.

In just a matter of about ten minutes or so, he manage to breakthrough their encirclement as he got bombarded again by Captain Kalego causing him top bore a grudge towards such person. Quickly changing the way he held his spear, he then instantly gathered mana unto its tip and threw the pear towards Captain Kalego with a boom as a representation the speed the spear was thrown.

Surprisingly in that split second of the spear's travel, a single person was able to react, as it moved in front of Captain Kalego and formed a multi layered barrier in front of him in order to block the strengthened attack.

"Seven layered trial barrier gates!!!"

Forming seven obstacles in between the person and the spear, two of different power then suddenly clashed in midair, as the spear tried its best to actually pierce through the blockade. Taking in note that each layered barrier was as tough as a 25 meter thick titanium which was literally enough to actually block any near a huge explosion meant to actually destroy a wide area in a city in a single explosion.

However despite that, the spear managed to break through not only one layered barrier but actually up to about its 5th layer. But up to that point, the spear didn't lose power as its still pushed through using only its force.

In that moment another person intervenes as it uses words to actually fend off the spear's power.

"The spear will lose its force!!!"

Under the words of such person, the spear then got significantly weakened in just a single moment as it retreated back into the air and returned towards Adelfried grasp. Surprisingly the two people were part of the elite force under Captain Kalego who also has their own unique trait which greatly helped in stopping the spear. One was a barrier master, while the other one was a spirit speech user.

Just by their trait alone, the first one can create any type of barrier meant top protect someone, while the other can imbue mana into her words in order for it to actually come true. Meaning whatever she says using her mana induced words, became true in its own sense. With those alone, its no wonder why such people were part of the elite force.
