Chapter 143: The Talk

[Castle Conference room, Kingdom of Avalon]

On another place in the Kingdom's capital city, wherein the duke of Holsteia Kingdom together with his wife is currently located, the king of Holsteia Kingdom King Hendrick and his queen is being led by a retainer towards the inner room of such a huge conference building

Naturally Duke Alan and his wife Cecile has been going inside such place for the couple of days to straighten out the talk beforehand before the two kings of different kingdom start to have their serious conversation

Of course the people that the duke himself was talking with were the duke's and the king itself, thus giving them a hectic and busy days despite being in another country

With the arrival of King Hendrick, all obligation and responsibilities had been passed on towards the royalty for their talk which could involve the future of two kingdoms

Exactly on how a royalty should be introduced, the retainer then named out the guest of the kingdom in front of the whole noble crowd and the king of Avalon himself, which then caused the noise inside the room to cease to exist

Upon the arrival of King Hendrick himself together with his queen, every noble in the area excluding Duke Alan and his wife Cecile then sized up the pair as if analyzing whether they are worthy of their country's attention

Such pride was only natural since the Kingdom of Avalon is really well known from all around the world for its military might in both land and sea, with the elite force named Aqua force under their command, it is no wonder that the people of the Kingdom of Avalon hold their regards and prestige higher than their other country's counterpart

After a moment  of silence the king of Avalon then spoke up in a respectful manner towards another king of another kingdom overseas

"Welcome! Welcome to my country King Hendrick... I'm supposed your quite smitten by my own kingdom right? after all is it almost the embodiment of absolute paradise with nothing to fear and no one to starve"

"Indeed! I'm  quite impressed myself, i couldn't even believe that such place exist in the same world as my country, the level of your kingdom's prosperity is truly different from mine" Replied  King Hendrick

"Ah! The flattery... You shouldn't be overwhelmed by my prosperity King Hendrick! Every person goes it's own pace, as long as your will to improve your country is strong then the future will be bright, i guarantee it"

"Such wise words! you even knew of my name despite me not knowing yours... how truly unexpected" said King Hendrick

"Ah yes i haven't introduced myself, how rude of me... i am the king of this kingdom, my name is Hassan and the beautiful women beside me is queen  Elizabeth"

Upon being introduced the queen of the Kingdom of Avalon then nodded accordingly to King Hendrick and his wife

"Even though you already know me, i shall introduce myself once more!  I am King Hendrick and the women with me is my queen Annabeth"

"Greetings" said Queen Annabeth

"Greetings" replied Queen Elizabeth

"Greetings" said King Hassan

Afterwards King Hassan offered some seats towards their guest as Duke Alan and his wife stood among the noble crowd behind them, completely passing on the obligation of the talk to the royalty of their kingdom

With that the talk then started between the two royalty

"First off! based on the previous days we had talked with your kingdom's duke, it is stated that you wish to form a connection between the two of our kingdom, well we do know that by making a connection between our kingdom your side will benefit from it considering our reputation, but that begs the question, why would we ever form a connection with you? how will that benefit us?"

Faced with that question King Hendrick then answered

"I see.. that will really worry you but i think your mistaken"

Hearing that King Hassan tilted his head in confusion as he asked

"whatever do you mean?"

"For a fact it is the opposite, it will benefit you the most since you may be able to scout some of our best warriors in our kingdom at your own free will, of course if ever the case that our prodigies would accept your invitation" replied King Hendrick with a smile

Upon hearing his words, everyone in the room then caused a shock voice as some of them even dared to say that King Hendrick was overreaching himself, of course Duke Alan and his wife just stayed silent as they sigh in dejection

Originally the people of the kingdom of Avalon should be in their high horse  since they have almost all of the talent around the world, but such cases wasn't so as King Hendrick seemingly trying to imply that their kingdom had also prodigies in line with their talents

What's more it is as if King Hendrick himself is the one compromising in the talk, instead of them thus raising a commotion all around which involve some small curses for the visiting royalty

On the other hand King Hassan reaction was different from his nobles and instead was curious about what King Hendrick was implying, Thus he stayed calm

"What do you mean? are you implying that your kingdom prodigies is equally as strong as our elite force?" asked King Hassan

With that King Hendrick simply smiled back as he answered

"Well of course and i have already personally met them face to face through our country's competition, all i can say is that they are exceptional"

At that even King Hassan's wife, Queen Elizabeth was amazed on how King Hendrick boasted his Kingdom's prodigies

Seeing everyone's reaction in the room, King Hendrick then smiled for a moment as he hinted towards their counterpart

"Do you remember the event wherein the whole sky in broad daylight suddenly dimmed out and a gigantic celestial dragon appeared in the sky? the event wherein a magical power rising equivalent to a whole army then suddenly manifested in this world out of nowhere? The sudden continues shake of the world cause of some unknown force?"

In that moment everyone was then shock as they remembered that certain day wherein all of what King Hendrick said has happened, what's more a bead of sweat then pour out of everyone's faces as they anticipated his words

At that King Hendrick then dropped the bomb

"All of those are the result of the power of our country's prodigies"
