Chapter 134: Kingdom of Avalon's Aqua Force III
[Kingdom of Avalon]
Situated at the front of the dormitory of the Aqua force, Iris and Akito then Coincidentally met up with Shun and Sephiria
Seemingly with the way that both Iris and Akito was strolling around and was at a laxing phase, it was then obvious that they were currently on a vacation in another country, thus upon meeting each other again since the tournament between the six academies, they were then completely shocked and caught off guard
But since they had already some previous interaction with each other, the tense around the area didn't even build up even for a slightest bit
With a smile on her face Iris then happily greeted both Shun and Sephiria
"Oh my! I didn't expect that the Duke's daughter to be here in such place, much less I didn't even realise that we would meet here in such an occasion"
"Hahaha! Me too! In fact we're only here because my father was assigned to have some kind of a talk with the kingdom of this place... due to that we were also brought here to sightsee... what are you guys doing here?" Asks Sephiria with a dry laugh
"Were here on vacation of course! Answered Iris
Hearing that Sephiria then pointed out something
"Only you and Akito? Aren't your household quite lax in terms for your safety?"
"Well about that... we both do agree that Akito is already strong enough to guard me himself right? Plus I'm sure that Shun is the same for you since I don't see any guards around you despite being a Duke's daughter" replied Iris
With that Sephiria then waved her hands as she said
"Well circumstances... our circumstances is different! Plus we had some of the members of the Aqua force with us"
"Aqua force? Isn't that the elite force of this kingdom? Well look here! Who would've thought that you would be accompanied by the elite force of this kingdom... such a bigshot!"
With that Iris passed by Sephiria as she introduced herself towards the members of the Aqua force
Naturally Lionel, Diva, and Merlin came up first towards her, as for Mordred herself she then headed over towards Shun and Akito who was seemingly talking each other in a sense like acquaintances
"I can't believe your here!" Said Shun
"Well I can't believe your here too... on vacation?" Asked Akito
"Something alongside the term assigned task" answered Shun
"Assigned task... you mean that the Duke was assigned to take care of the delegation in this country?" Asked Akito
"No! The king and his whole family would be here in days time, the Duke was only sent in advance to prepare everything so that the negotiations between the two kingdom's would be smooth" said Shun
"I see... on what basis did you thought of that?" Asked Akito while raising an eyebrow
"... anime... manga... novel... games... movies..." answered Shun as he gave a vague answer
Hearing that Akito simply nodded as if he understood where Shun was coming into, but before they could discuss any further complicated discussion, Mordred on the other hand squeezed herself into their conversation as he introduced herself
"Hey! I'm Mordred! Nice to meet you and based on from your conversation earlier, you must be Akito right?"
Hearing the name Mordred, Akito then suddenly remembered a certain anime that his cousin watched during their vacation in an out of town
With that he then said
"Mordred? Just like the girl in that anime, don't tell me your father is named Arturia or something?"
Hearing that Mordred showed a shocked look as he suddenly said
"Well my father really wanted to be called Arthur, but his original name is Arturia... so how did you guess my father's name?"
At that a sudden silence enveloped the place as both Shun and Akito just stared at each other for this unexpected event
Never would they have ever thought that the father and its offspring's name would be the same in reality, anime, and legend
But nevertheless they couldn't help but look at Mordred's cheerful expression before praying towards her father in case history repeats itself
"God bless that brother!" Said Shun
"God bless to him!" Replied Akito
"Amen!"
"Amen!"
Hearing them spouting some nonsensical words Mordred then suddenly became curious as she started pushing more unto the matter
"Hey! What are you saying? What are you doing? Tell me! Tell me! Tell me!"
Following that a cheery conversation then erupted out as everyone begun to talk to each other, of course both Iris and Akito was then brought inside their dormitory which then made them comfortable when conversing with each other
Naturally conversing in a room was more appropriate than conversing outside in terms of a long chat
With that everyone then got along in the flow of events which then brought everyone's relationship into an acquaintance
At one point Akito then became vigilant and slightly alerted around Merlin when Shun reminded him about his species
Upon learning that Merlin is an offspring between an incubus and a human, which resulted into his incredible degree of charm, Akito then became alerted as he can to make sure that Iris who was a female wouldn't get swayed by Merlin at all
After all if succubus favorite target are male creatures, then incubus favorite target are female creatures, just like how succubus is attractive towards every male, the incubus on the other hand are also attractive towards every female of any species
Due to that kind of trait which was passed down on his bloodline, Merlin was in fact famous for being a ladies man who can attract an opposite gender whatever its species or age just by his charm as a half incubus
With that Akito always made sure to atleast interrupt the conversation between Merlin and iris halfway through, whenever it seems like Merlin's charm is getting out towards Iris, of course such a thing was also being done towards Sephiria by Shun
Luckily with the help from Diva's song magic to calm one's mind and Lionel's masculine tone which broke the atmosphere at times, both Akito and Shun's effort weren't in vain at all
With that they finally took a breather to relax their nerves from all that stress they accumulated, at the same time Mordred came in like a cheerful child as she got in between them and started conversing with the both of them
Just like them, both Iris and Sephiria on the other hand, couldn't help but get jealous and pout whenever they saw Mordred being chummy all over Shun and Akito
Due to the fact that Mordred was easy to get along with, coupled with her cheerful aura, boyish attitude, and charming beauty like a childhood friend, both Iris and Sephiria couldn't help but be inferior towards her for being straight and interactive
While that was happening the three of them then started to chat once more as they got along just fine
"Hey! Hey! I heard that the both of you have fought each other in a tournament in another kingdom right? If my memory serves me right then there must be three of you guys who made it to the final battle" said Mordred
Hearing that both Shun and Akito then nodded
"Yeah! There are three of us! Me, Shun, and Lorius" answered Akito
"But man! Lorius is a beast... I couldn't believe that it took the both of us plus some of my summons to get him done in" said Shun
"Yes! Lorius is really strong in terms of experience, magic, hand combat, and swordmanship... it felt like he had no flaws whatsoever" said Akito
Hearing both of their assessment, Mordred then placed both of her arms under her chin in a cute pose as she said
"Then based on what you guys said, then this Lorius person must really be strong just like you describe, well if he ever became a citizen of our kingdom in the future, he may be highly recruited by the captian due to his stats and achievements" said Mordred
At that Shun then said
"Then lucky for him... I guess"
But upon hearing that Mordred then smiled cheerily as she said
"Of course the same goes you guys too, if you ever plan to be a resident of our country"
With that both Shun and Akito then became slightly stunned for a little while before being understandable due to their current achievement in the tournament
But before they could ponder this some more, Mordred on the other hand became interested on another topic as she said
"Well since you guys got to the final battle in your country's tournament, then perhaps you guys got some skills in you, how about lets have a bout 2 vs 1... how does that sound?"
